Rapid Cycling Bipolar Plus Anxiety: Rx Question

Losing faith in my Psychiatrist. Only solution seems to be new or increased meds. Rapid Cycling Bipolar and Anxiety are not controlled after trying > 2 dozen RXs and many combos & dosages since dx (6yrs). Daily Regimen in mg: 2k fish oil, highest EPA/DHA I can find; 750 in am+900 in pm LiCO3; 5k Vit D; Multi Vitamin; 200 in am Lamotrigine; 1mg Requip @ bed (R.L.S.); 300 in pm Seroquel XR. Can't go any higher on Seroquel it puts me so deep to sleep I can't wake up before 9am even when I take it at 7pm and bed down at 9pm, and I'm groggy at least till 11am. Even at 300mg, I have to get asleep by 2 hrs post-dose or I get all weak (can't walk) and nausea. It won't wake me up though. Have tried with and without the Requip, noting no difference. Have spiked on Lithium a couple times (a week plus of diarrhea & level spike) but am behaving meticulously. No alcohol lots of water all that. Feeling both manic and depressed in same day, on a regular basis, tells me it's out of control. Feeling like a lab rat. Anything look wrong about the combo of meds?

Unfortunately, there is really no way to say whether any given medication combo is good or bad, for any given person, especially when treating such complicated conditions. Everyone's body is different, so meds can work differently for everyone.

What might be wrong for one person, might work great for you and vice-versa.

However, if you feel that your doctor is lacking and just isn't helping you find the right combination and therapy to help, then you may want to consider consulting someone else, for a second opinion.

What other medications and classed of medications have you tried?
