Simply right ranitidine bought at Sam's club is marked made in India? Is it made by that Co reported on 60 minutes as making substandard generics in India? ## Hi Jack, According to the product labeling, Simply Right Ranitidine is distributed by SAM's West, Inc. out of Bentonville, AR 72716. However the labeling also states that this product is "Made in the USA"; if you check the bottom left-hand side of the package (underneath the Drug Facts). For verification, you can even view an image of the package itself if you google "Simply Right Ranitidine" and follow the second link to amazon. Unfortunately, they don't list any more information than that in regards to where the product is sourced from within the US. Do you think they might be trying to hide something...

My wife found these four or five pills in a bottle of Equate Brand of Acid Reducer (ranitidine tablets). she cannot remember if she mixed another brand from a almost empty bottle or not. It is pinkish with OR 606 on it. ## Yes, they are 75mgs of Ranitidine. ## how long does one stay in your system? ## Not more than a day or so. However, if you are concerned about this for a drug test, then you need not be. These are not narcotic nor Benzodiazepine based, so they will not show up on a drug test. ## I beg to differ they will show up as amphetamine, though they don't have any narcotic ingredient something in the medication causes it to occasionally render a false positive on urine analyses it happened to me and never in a million years did i think it was the culprit and i was shocked t...

If the ip253 pills have expired by 1 year, is it risky to use? ## Hello, Tomian! How are you? From what I can find, this tablet is listed as containing 150mgs of Ranitidine, which is used as an antacid to treat conditions such as heartburn, GERD, ulcers and gastritis. Learn more Ranitidine details here. And no, they don't get dangerous after they expire, but they do start to lose effectiveness, so they won't work as well as they did, when new and fully potent. Thus, it's really best to just dispose of them and purchase a new supply. Are there any other questions or concerns?

Color: peach, shape: hexagon, number: 75, letter: M ## Hi thizzles, Based on the description provided, the closest match I'm finding is a pink, hexagon tablet imprinted with "W" on one side and "75" on the other. This particular pill is identified as Ranitidine HCL (75 mg); which is used to treat ulcers and gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). Is it possible that you may have simply mistaken the W for an M? I hope this helps!

came in bottle of heartburn medicine from WalMart. 150mgs of Ranitidine. The prior meds I bought were same bottle, etc, however the pills differ and it concerns me a bit - the first pill marked R150 is pink - the L852 pill (second batch I bought) is almost the color of motrin.....I won't take this until I know it is the right medication. ## Yes, it is the same medication, 150mgs of Ranitidine. These are generic/store brand medications and they do not actually manufacture them, but rather have them packaged for them by a company that does manufacture them and this means that which pills are in their bottles can change, depending on who was offering the best prices at the time of contract renewal. They may even use more than one manufacturer. Are there any other questions? ## I questi...

I'm on a pain contract that i take very seriously and they sent me a letter saying my last UA showed up positive for methamphetamine... Can Ranitidine do that? ## On the cheaper less reliable tests, it seems as though anything is possible. False positives are known to occur on them anywhere from 4 to 50% of the time. However, according to Wikipedia, Ranitidine is known to cause false positives for methamphetamine on drug tests. I hope you can get this situation sorted out. Have you asked your doctor about getting re-tested?
