Prolia Side Effects (Page 115)

Updated

I would like to know of any side effects others may have experienced after receiving Prolia infusions. Up to now I have none.

Re: Marion (# 2280) Expand Referenced Message

One last question please: Were you ever on Prednisone for skin problems with Prolia? I know for 100% sure that Pred. can cause DVTs and PEs if it is not tapered off correctly. Your only other alternative to the X would be warfarin and it has no side effects but someone has to come to your home and draw blood at least once a week so you don't get too thick or too thin. You also cannot eat green veggies with it or cabbage. I have the 'pins and needles' in one leg but it's from a pinched nerve in my back. Not always, just sometimes. I agree that it is most annoying! If you needed surgery or invasive dental work, you have to go off of it for I think I remember 6 weeks. Hopefully, the blood specialist will figure out what is going on with you because it certainly is not normal at all. Please let us know what is found and if it is a new side effect of Prolia. Be well~

Re: Marion (# 2280) Expand Referenced Message

I just saw the FDA's list of complaints from the victims of Prolia. 56 or 59 women in the USA got DVT's from Prolia. Now, start counting how many that would be since Prolia has been released worldwide. It is nice to see government reporting it but it should give them the information needed that this drug should not be on the market. Now you know exactly whom to blame and you can tell your Doctor. DVT's can easily be lethal! Be well~

Hi Sal, I can get them at Shoppers Drug Mart or from my ophamologist. I live in Canada but as I mentioned, I could not get them in Florida so I now make sure I have a good supply when I go away. Expensive....I paid $60 plus tax last week! Not sure if Shoppers ships to the US.

I had two shots of this poison called Prolia and I would like to respond to many who have said that they can't walk due to they Prolia I know what your problem is the infection in and still the information just keeps on coming I couldn't walk for 2 years now because of this I'm now going to a heart center to have my veins checked and I would advise you to do the same I wouldn't have this again for anyting in the I have punished the
for 2 years but know this that this

infection is running through your veins I know this because I've had to take so many rounds so many rounds of antibiotics and the internet connection keeps coming back Time After Time seem like nothing takes care of the infection you need to go to a heart specialist and have him to run some kind of test on your veins this is been the most miserable I have been ever in my life and this Prolia is not any good for anybody I don't care what the doctor says anywhere but most of the doctors here in Kingsport aren't even interested in finding out what the problem is with Prolia or what your condition is since I have taken the antibiotic my legs seem to be moving a little bit better so I'm thinking the antibiotic is helping with the that's all I'm going right for now because if I get any more information I will pass it on to you by the way I haven't heard from the lawyer yet opI will soon hope somebody . a movement also not only the teeth that are on my gums that are fully impacted with infection

How are you feeling now? Are you aware of any class action suit on Prolia? I have breast cancer and went through strong chemo and radiation and recovered well from it all. I felt so good and happy until I had a Prolia injection. Since my Prolia injection, I have felt horrible; menopause symptoms again, lower abd pain, shoulder pain. It's got to be from the prolia as my body had recovered ao nicely after chemo. I will never take Prolia again. How long did it take for you to get it out of your system?
What a poison!

I received my Hylo Gel drops ( I chose the Forte because of severe dry eyes). I was able to obtain them from Amazon.

So far So very good. Thank you for the info.
Mt Autologous drops are good, but they require refridgeration, so it is difficult to get enough doses. This is a great alternative

This drug is nothing but toxin. I won't take it if it was the only hope, but you will suffer more. It has been just a year since my mom had one shot and she still suffers because of it.

I had my first injection 7 months ago & after 4 months started having severe leg pain in both legs more severe on right. I could hardly bear, couldn't sleep, then my hands started having pain, & both hands are so painful. I refused to take 2nd shot & contribute all this from injection. Never had any pain before Prolia. Needs to be taken off market!

I had Prolia shots, have had a number of dizzy spells and have had four really falls, resulting in bad injuries. As with you fortunately I was not driving. Prolia is a horrible drug and should only used for bone cancer patients, as it was originally for.

I wish I had researched it before ever taking a shower. Afraid I will never be the same.

Yes. IT should not be in the market. My friend's dad had only one shot and suffered horrible side effects including a growth in this intestine. Died within 3 months.

Re: SONG (# 2294) Expand Referenced Message

The exact same happened to my dad. Maybe you'd like to read my stories?? Oct 2014. Sure wish I could give a few shots of this to the doctor that prescribed it to my dad, (for the reason of osteoporosis which had never been mentioned to dad before and was 81 with kidney problems, latex allergies and a perforated small intestine, all reasons probably NOT be given the poison). I'll forever be mad at the doctor as well as the family members who thought this doctor was almost "God" and wouldn't read the articles (about what can or had happened to people) that I took to them to read before they took him to get the deadly shot. It affected dad within a couple of days, he fell, had almost every other side effect listed and never recovered. Now they all blame his death on something different. I believe they listed "breathing problems and heart failure"! Of course.

Re: Forever Bummed (# 2295) Expand Referenced Message

I agree with you. It was a horrible drug for me and I am very angry that my doctor prescribed it to me without telling me the horrible side effects. Prolia is horrible. I have reported it a number of times to the FDA, for what good that may do!! Sorry about your Dad.

Hazlat (# 2281) --

Hi Hazlat,I took 7 Prolia shots, they were horrible for me, I was not told any of the side effects before getting the shots. Prolia has been a nightmare for me! My last shot was in 2015, and I am still suffering from the side effects. I have reported it a number of times to the FDA! Nothing being done that I knowof.
