I accidentally took 4 prednisone 5mg each. I'm on dialysis and have high blood pressure. I took th a couple days ago. Feeling light headed. Round small white pill One side blank Other side says H L 0 2 ## Based on the description provided, I believe your pill could potentially be a 500mg Metformin HCL tablet, most notably used for treating type 2 diabetes, but also has a few other off-label uses as well. This particular pill is white and round with the marking H 102 on one side and blank on the other. For verification, it is reportedly manufactured by Heritage Pharma and carries a National Drug Code of 23155-0102. Perhaps the "1" may have been mistaken for a lowercase L ("l")? Just a thought. I finally have an appointment with a R, Symbicort (2xs a day) heumatolgist on 8/21, my present doctor will not renew my prednisone because I have already had two sets of 3x3, 2x3, etc. I only need 8 pills. I do not understand. Two weeks ago I had a horrible experience. I had never experienced such pain and I could not move. It took me over an hour to get out of bed. I could not move without awful pain. I am taking Citalopram HBR (20mgs) for depression; Zolpidem Tartrate(5mgs) for insomnia, Lisinopril (20mgs 2 pils once a day) for my blood pressure, Symbicort for my COPD, Proair HFA as needed. Hi, I was just prescribed 60mg of prednisone for 2 weeks and after that tapering off a pill a day. I have never taken this before and am nervous about side effects. Do you think I can get side effects being on it for only 19 days total? (Irritability, sweating, "moon face", etc.) 60mg a day for two weeks is kind of scaring me and I'd like to know what I am getting myself into. How has your doctor directed you to taper it? Sometimes, if you've been taking it for less than 3 weeks, tapering isn't necessary. Usually, however, when it is tapered, it is done by 10mg increments, but not for a week each, in most cases, it's usually just a couple of days. But you need to follow your doctor's instructions, they are the final decider as to what is safest for you. My husband is a 52yr old avid bodybuilder & health nut and has been for 30yrs. He's never missed work for so much as a cold. On 3/16/11 he fell ill w/the flu. Four days later he was in ER w/what they said was dbl lung pneumonia. Four days he was transported to our capital city hospital. There he was originally diagnosed w/ARDS (acute respiratory distress syndrome) but after a lung biopsy it was found he had BOOP (Bronchiolitis obliterans with organizing pneumonia). I have chronic osteoarthritis through my whole body including my spine, plus other bone abnormalities. I have had chronic pain since I was 12 (18 yrs ago). Doctors have never taken my pain seriously until recently when I was properly diagnosed. I am now on Endep, Lyrica and Gabapentin which together helps with all my nerve pain. But even strong pain killers didn't help with my joint and back inflammation. Hi! Ive been feeling not quite myself Over the past week. Nausea, headaches, profusely sweating at random times, out of breath, cramp in calf for 2 full days, anxiety... I just this morning realized my potassium is probably out of whack. I have some klorcon20 that i had been prescribed last time this happened. I have had two back surgeries. I have had the injections, I have taken Prednisone 10 mg, cyclobenzapr 10 mg. and Hydroco acetaminop 10 mg. The doctors informed me that I have 2 pinched nerves. I have difficulty in walking. The doctor asked me Can you live with it. I'm 74 years old and he asks me that question. My Dr. Sucks... I can't get 1mg of pain medication. Have sciatic pain, low back and left hip pains. AS well as a torn shoulder and in creased pain in neck and shoulders. Impingement under the collar bone. SUCKS.. some terrible pain. My Dr gave me prednisone, gabapentin as well as tick tacks.. may as well all been tic tacks.. She had taken the same in Sep,08. She is finding her right eye with blurred vision. We checked up with Opthalmologit and he conducted the tests. My pain management PA put me on Presidone10 Mg five times today tampering it down by one pill a day for five days. I have renal function of 31 and was told by my renal dr not to take any pillsfor inflammation. I have bad anxiety, and labyrinthitis, I was prescribed to Prednisone and Azthromycin. I took 2 10 mg tabs of Prednisone yesterday around 11 am, and I started freaking out last night and ALL DAY today. I called my doc and pharmacist and they told me don't take it again. It's been an all day anxiety attack. Will this medicine have effects on intimacy? ## I WOULD ALSO LIKE TO KNOW ABOUT BEING ON PREDNISONE IF INTAMACY IS EFFECTIVED AND WHAAT IS UP WITH THE MAJOR SWINGS AND NOT FEELING LIKE YOURSELF ## Well it is a type of steroid, so it can affect your bodily hormones and cause some mood swings and etc. These side effects are not very common and if you are taking it for awhile, they will normally wear off within a few weeks. And in this same way, yes it can sometimes affect intimacy for awhile while your body is adjusting to the medication. ## It doesn't list it in the side effects but yes I did notice a bit of a change for the worse. It actually made me feel like I was on some type of muscle relaxant.

I just started prednisone 10 mg pills for bronchitis and asthma. The dose is 4-3-2-1 3 days each. I lost a pill at the beginning.
