Based on the description provided, I believe your pill could potentially be a 500mg Metformin HCL tablet, most notably used for treating type 2 diabetes, but also has a few other off-label uses as well.

This particular pill is white and round with the marking H 102 on one side and blank on the other.

Perhaps the "1" may have been mistaken for a lowercase L ("l")? Just a thought.
