If it is a medication from the U.S. then a tablet that has no markings is an over the counter product of some type and not a prescription medication. Under FDA regulations, all manufactured prescription tablets must have markings to enable their identification. This means that all Penicillin tablets available in the U.S. have markings. Since it is available as a generic, which is manufactured by different companies, I'd be unable to post pictures of all of them for, anyway. Can you post back with a description of the tablet, like size and color? Maybe we can narrow it down from there.

My ex gf is allergic to penicillin. Can she take this teva 5312 pill??? ## Has her doctor prescribed it for her? Teva lists this tablet as containing 500mgs of Ciprofloxacin, which is a different antibiotic. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea.

We used to be able to get this for use with infections and cuts.Very effective. is it availa ble for purchase? ## From what I'm able to gather, Sulfathiazole Penicillin ointment is primarily sold in Mexico and seldom found in the U.S. Another user on this site mentioned that: "I found it possible to purchase it in any state of mexico at any pharmacy in the city. You will almost always find it at a pharmacy in tijuana. It is very common." Because it is not readily available in the U.S. I recommend searching online under various mexican-based drug stores, as that is probably your best bet, aside from actually going to Mexico to pick some up. I understand this isn't a safe but I do not have an any funds insurance or really any more time I cannot get another hospital I m drowning in er bills. My wisdom tooth grew in with a home in it so when anything rocked it or enters my mouth that souk kd be constant pain so I went to cvs n got den tek cement for filling and plugged it with that. Well it's been months n was working wonderfully no pain but ecru once in a while so I'd change it. Well now my pain is unmade able u can see the gum lifting it looks like puss sometimes I get horrible tastes in my mouth. My gum is five times swollen then normal n since it's so swollen I can't pop the dentek out which it feels like I need to drain because the pain n swelling is down my neck even by throat numb eats I can feel it...

I have copd and have developed bronchitis over the last week or so. I am allergic to penicillin. My doctor believes the bronchitis is bacterial and has prescribed a medication that the prescription insert says "May cause serious lung problems. Tell your doctor if you develop a cough, shortness of breath, or chest pain" all of which I have with copd and bronchitis. He also prescribed 5 days of prednisone and a pro air inhaler. What would be the best antibiotic given this information. (The medication is sulfameth/trimethoprim 800160mg TB.) ## There are risks associated with all medications and that warning is usually included with most antibiotics, due to the possibility of hypersensitivity reactions, thus, I really don't know what I could suggest that might be safer for you. ...

The only way it will help with a fever is if the fever is caused by an infection and, even then, it will take several days to have an effect. It's white oblong. ## Hi Gal, The correct marking on this pill is actually GG 950, but I do agree that the "GG" looks more like a "66". In any case, this pill is identified as Penicillin V potassium 500 mg; which is used to treat a wide variety of bacterial infections. I have a bottle of penicillin 500 mg that expires 3/16/2016 that i left in my car for months. I went to use it and it had a funny odor when i opened the bottle..... and when i take them I can smell the odor thru my nose. Have the pills went bad..? ## Hello, Kash! How are you? If I have this medication for my dog. Is it interactive with humans? Can I take it? I have a tooth ache that is so bad with infection my face is swollen. I can't see a dentist for 6 days. Hello, my sister is suffering from rheumatic heart disease. Her doctor advised her to take sumapen instead of penicillin injections coz its painful and my sister can't take it anymore. Every time i take it for anything, i feel so happy and healthy i don't want to come off it. I feel more energetic, happier and great.
