I found in my daughter's draw two different white pills. One of the pills have 1474 on one side & on the other has 9 / 3. The second pill has 66/960 on one side & on the other PVK/500. side effects ## From what I was able to gather, Stafloxin in from the Philippines, and is classed as a penicillin. It is used pneumonia, septicemia, endocarditis, infected prosthesis, acute staphylococcal osteomyelitis, skin & soft tissue infections, infected burns & staphylococcal joint infections, staphylococcal meningitis, enterocolitis; emphysema & other resp tract infections; UTI. Common side effects are: Nausea, diarrhea, flatulence, headache; hypersensitivity reactions, transient SGOT & SGPT elevation, occasional reversible cholestatic jaundice, renal effects in newborn & infants receiving high doses, aggravated CHF (high dose). Is Amoxicilina 500mg the generic for Penicillin VK 500mg? ## To answer your question, no, Amoxicillin is not the generic for Penicillin VK. Both of these antibiotics are their own generic form, but the difference between the two is very subtle. This is an antibiotic and it is important not to use them, when it isn't appropriate, because you run the risk of developing antibiotic resistant bacteria. Second, this is even more of a danger, because this bottle of medication is outdate. The expiration date was 07-23-2010, after that, they start to lose their effectiveness and this creates an even bigger risk of developing antibiotic resistant bacteria. Below is a link to Natrapharm who makes this product, Natravox, generic name Co-amoxiclav, and posts the details about the product. It's very good detail. I've been prescribed the product for lung infection and UTI. Within 24 hours results were seen but do the 7 days as with all antibiotics if you don't have any side effects.. I didn't have any side effects/issues and all things considered I'd prefer this product as my antibiotic. It's expensive compared to generics so consider the generic if you can get it in your area of the world. So it's sodium amoxicilin and the clav acid. The clav side is more of leg breaking (just an analogy not really legs) and not a strong penicillin. But I guess it's easier to take down your bug if it's legs have been remove...

i would like to make an order these are good tablets ## Sorry, but medschat.com is an information-only site. this site does not manufacture, nor sell any medications or products. I'm pretty sure the medication you want is only available by prescription. Have you checked with any pharmacies in your area for something similar? More than likely if you have a condition or infection that requires an antibiotic as strong as Penicillin, you should make an appointment with your doctor anyways and he should be able to prescribe it to you.

I am prone to yeast infections from antibiotic's will nitrofur mac 100mg give me one? ## It is always possible for any antibiotic to cause a yeast infection, because they actually don't discriminate on the type of bacteria they kill, so they can eliminated good bacteria, as well as the bad. However, there is really no way to say, whether or not it will cause one to any given person, because everyone's body reacts differently to any given medication. Have you discussed your concerns with your doctor? I've only had this happen once, from Penicillin, which I was taking for a dental infection, but to be honest, if I had to take it, again, I would more than likely purchase something such as Monistat, at the same time I picked up the Penicillin prescription and keep it on hand...

Can't find what this pill is. whiteyellow or was white and faded slighly off white. There is a split line between the M and 95 for cutting in half. ## I forgot to note that the pill is round with nothing written on the back side of it. ## This is an old tablet that has been discontinued, it was originally completely white. I am not certain what the dosage was, but it did contain the antibiotic Penicillin. Side effects can include: nausea, drowsiness, diarrhea and ski rash.
