When it comes to time released medications, it is often normal for someone to see the pill in their stool, because that is just the shell and is not digested. However, this doesn't mean that the medication has not been released. Are there any other questions or comments? ## ...
pink ## This is a very mild, narcotic analgesic, Propoxyphene (100mgs) is the opiate and APAP is just medical speak for Acetaminophen (650mgs.) Some of the most common side effects include: drowsiness, dry mouth, nausea and constipation. ## what drug can be substituted for the recalled Darvocet 10-650? ## Unfortunately, there are no real substitutes for Darvocet N 100; the medical establishment through no fault of their own, tells people to try this one or that one etc. This medication was for mild to moderate pain, and the reason it was popular was that people took it who didn't want a "high", it allowed them to function, and it relieved their pain.(my opinion).

Original script was Endocet 7.5-500mg. Dr gave me a refill but it was for Oxycod/APAP 5-325mg. I understand both are generic for Percocet, but is the Endocet a stronger dose? If so, I don't know why the refill was for a lower dose than the original. Thanks ## It looks like the Endocet is a stronger dose of both medications. How long have you been taking Endocet before the switch was made? Just my thoughts, but I think the doctor lowered the dose perhaps to help ween you off of the medication as it can become a strong addiction over a long period of time. (This of course depends on your current condition and if the symptoms are lesser than before). Please post back if you have any other questions or comments to add.

changing to Oxycodone HCL BY DOCTOR--what amount of oxycodone hcl would be comparable to MS CONTIN 30 MG ? ## Oxycodone is one and a half times stronger than Morphine, so you would actually need a lower dose of the Oxycodone, which would be around 20mgs. The side effect profile is similar for both, since they are both narcotic analgesics and may include: nausea, dizziness, dry mouth and constipation. Does Ala Nerve cause allergic reactions? ## My mother who is 93 years old was prescribed Ala-Nerve for peripheral neuropathy but she does not suffer from diabetes, She has experienced severe rashes throughout her body which she attributed to allergy due to weather change (warm-cool changes - we are in the tropics) However after several months of taking 950 mg Ala-Nerve daily, her allergy has become quite severe despite realitively stable weather. She is also taking Lyrica and Neurobion for several years to relieve her postherpetic neuralgia. Initially her allergic rashes could be relieved by Claricort but lately her response to the medication has been very slow. ## ALAnerv is a nutritional supplement. i"m looking for the ingredients of sodium val as my nephew has angel man syndrome and has been diagnosed with epilepsy and is experiencing cold and pale lips and fingers, and as he is allergic to ibuprofen we are wanting to find out if there are any of the same ingredients. ## The active ingredient is Sodium Valproate and without knowing the manufacturer, since this is a generic, I can't tell you anything about the inactive ingredients. I can say, however, that it doesn't contain Ibuprofen, because that is an active ingredient and would have to be listed as such. The pale lips, fingers and being cold, however, would not be symptoms of an allergic reaction, those symptoms would most likely signify a circulatory problem and though it is rare, this drug has been known to cause t...
Found a yellowish white round pill, says 10 on one side and PF on other, a bit worried that maybe some of my friends had dropped some in my place and dont want it getting used by my young son thinking its a candy. ## Yes, this is a 10mg Morphine tablet, which is a narcotic analgesic, this is a time released tablet, the name brand for it would be MS Contin. It could be very dangerous for a child, since Morphine is a potent narcotic, so if you remember who was recently over, you should probably have a serious chat with them about it. Everyone drops a pill, now and them, but they really should have let you know, so you could look for it or sweep up, to protect your son. I was out a few weeks ago, eating in a restaurant and dropped one of my Pepcid, so it wasn't even anything dangerous,...
