this is to be taken every 6 hrs.it is hlc/ap 37.5mgshpuld i take a low dose aspirn with it i have had open heart surgery. ## Have you consulted your doctor? They are really the only person that is qualified to tell you if Aspirin is safe and appropriate for you to take. It is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory, so there are some heart conditions for which it is contraindicated.
jamp was added to my precriptions having a drop in my pressure, now taken away because of my high blood pressure..ex:155over 80 .....164-81.....167-88 ## What are you taking to the high blood pressure? Jamp contains the active ingredient Aspirin, which is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory and yes, it is usually advised against using them, when you have high blood pressure, because NSAIDs can cause fluid retention.
Was told morphine but can't find match for it in pill book ## This tablet doesn't contain Morphine, it's actually a different narcotic analgesic. It contains 2mgs of Hydromorphone, the active ingredient in Dilaudid, which is actually stronger than Morphine. Side effects may include: nausea, headache, dizziness and constipation. I've been taking 4 roxy's a day for a week and i have a urine test friday however i've been drinking water and lemonade and taking a natural detox that cleans your blood, kidneys and liver I weigh105.8 and I metabolize quickly any suggestions? ## How did the test turn out? For future reference, most narcotics, including Oxycodone, are detectable in a urine test for approximately 4 to 5 days, after you last take them. There is no precise time frame that can be given, because it is always going to vary from person to person, depending on your own metabolism, overall health, fluid intake, activity levels and many other factors.
the new reformulatedoxicodone 40 mg ones do not work and have bad side effects. ## I take it you are referring to the time released formulation Oxycontin? We've had many complaints about them not working as well as the old formulation and causing bad/unusual side effects. However, I'm sorry to inform you that there are no longer any generic versions of it on the market. The name brand Oxycontin is the only one that is now available. Having several on the market from various manufacturers made it harder to keep track of the supply and increased the risk of theft and diversion. There are generics available of the regular release formulation, which would be Roxicodone, but not for the time released. Is there anything else I can help with?
I have a round white pill which has "325" on one side of the pill and a house shaped pentagon with a Z or N on the other side. If it is the letter N, the roof of the house would be on the top of it. I'm not sure what this pill is. ## This one took some hunting, but I finally found a positive identification on it, this tablet contains 325mgs of Acetaminophen, the resource I found the listing in specifically notes the pentagon shape around the N. So, this is a generic, or store brand of regular strength Tylenol, used to treat pain and fever. Is there anything else I can help with?
do thay make anything stronger than lordab 10-500 ## Lortab contains Acetaminophen and Hydrocodone and the 10mgs of Hydrocodone is the maximum amount of it that is available in any of the tablets that contain this combination. There is, however, one available with a higher amount of Acetaminophen, it goes up to 750mgs with the 10mgs of Hydrocodone. Is there anything else I can help with?

These are both opiates, but is there any specific difficulties in mixing these two meds? ## There are actually interactions found between Morphine and Opana. Specifically related to the central nervous system: "Central nervous system- and/or respiratory-depressant effects may be additively or synergistically increased in patients taking multiple drugs that cause these effects, especially in elderly or debilitated patients. During concomitant use of these drugs, patients should be monitored for potentially excessive or prolonged CNS and respiratory depression." Also to note, Morphine interacts with alcohol in a somewhat similar manner: "The central nervous system-depressant effects of morphine and alcohol may be additive. The combination may result in additive CNS-depression ...
actaully i know two emts personally and oxycodone left sitting for years does not lose potency. sinec its made up of different chemicals then hydrocodone or codeine it gains potency strength over the years. ## Do you have any links to articles or videos explaining this? It sounds good and hopefully it is true; but definitely would be tragic if someone took this advice and got sick from an expired pill...just saying. I do agree that certain drugs are actually okay to take after expiration, whereas others such as antibiotics can become toxic; but nothing lasts forever without expressing signs of degeneration. The only real way to know how long a drug can maintain it's potency after expiration, would be to have it lab tested periodically. There's a good little article linked below ...
My mother broke her arm (87 yrs old) She is allergic to lortab, and is being given 1000 mg. tylenol every 6 hr. Since she has been very confused and is seeing things (bugs, trains etc) could the tylenol be causing this? ## Is it Tylenol 3, or regular Tylenol? You mentioned both, but the Tylenol 3 contains Codeine, with the Acetaminophen and yes, it is a narcotic, so it may cause that, especially if she is taking a double dosage. How's she doing now?
When I take one Advil before bedtime I sleep through the night with usually only 1 bathroom visit... As an older Male I usually go 3-4 times a night without it... I have discussed with my Doctor and they see no correlation... but it works for me... Any comments? ## Have you consulted a urologist? Because actually, if you have a slightly enlarged Prostate, this makes perfect sense. The Ibuprofen in the Advil is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory, so it may be helping to reduce swelling, so your prostate isn't putting the pressure on your bladder that it usually does, so you don't have to wake and urinate as frequently as usual. There are also a few other possibilities for where swelling could be occurring that could cause it.
can this med cause arrythmea? ## can this drug cause panic attacks or nerviousness? ## can Tramadl cause panic attacks?? ## Yes, though they aren't common side effects, nervousness and anxiety have been reported in a small percentage of people that take Tramadol. Rite, the answer is the same for you, it is very rare, but yes, it has been known to occasionally cause cardiac side effects. Have either one of you consulted your respective doctors?
My pharmacist showed me a article on vitamin D and how it could reduce the number of oxy that I needed. I bought some vitamin D tablets because I didn't want to pay $30. The tablets didn't change so I went back and got what she recommended. Since taking the isotonix vitamin D I am down to only 2 oxys a day. Has anyone else heard about this? ## What actually happens is that regular use of narcotics, such as Oxycodone, causes loss of Vitamin D in the body, which in turn can cause worsening pain. So supplementing it back can help improve that, so the pain is lessened and you require less of the narcotic medications. Is there anything else I can help with?
I need to identify a capsule-shaped white pill with "C 15" on one side and blank on the other side.Unlike most capsule-shaped pills it has angular edges, and can even stand upright on its side. ## This is listed as containing 500mgs of Acetaminophen, a generic or store brand of Tylenol, it is manufactured by Cispharma Inc. Side effects may include: nausea, headache, dizziness and stomach irritation. Learn more: Is there anything else I can help with?
im trying to get a answer cause im not quite understanding because i never taken tramadol ## If the doctor or lab isn't using an actual certified test, false positives can occur anywhere from 4 to 50% of the time. It is also well known that synthetic and semi-synthetic opiates can cause false positives for their relatives and, while it isn't classified as a straight narcotic, Tramadol is distantly related.
