Expired Oxycodone2

actaully i know two emts personally and oxycodone left sitting for years does not lose potency. sinec its made up of different chemicals then hydrocodone or codeine it gains potency strength over the years.

Do you have any links to articles or videos explaining this? It sounds good and hopefully it is true; but definitely would be tragic if someone took this advice and got sick from an expired pill...just saying.

I do agree that certain drugs are actually okay to take after expiration, whereas others such as antibiotics can become toxic; but nothing lasts forever without expressing signs of degeneration. The only real way to know how long a drug can maintain it's potency after expiration, would be to have it lab tested periodically.
