So I have been taking hydrocodone apap 5-325 for about ten days and have had a non stop headaches almost the whole time...I take only three to four a day. Just wondering if this could be from dehydration, or the acetaminophen in them or are headaches just a common side effect. I've also heard something about a cold water extraction to remove the apap in them but don't know if that's necessary due to the lower dosage of apap I'm actually taking.(roughly 1400 mgs a day). In 2008 I had back surgery for sciatac problems, spinal fussion. I was left with severe back pain afterwards. I now see a pain managment MD and take 30mg MS Contin 3 x day, Vicoden 5/325 prn and have a spinal neurostimulator implanted in my back. I recently applied for a job (medical proffesional) had blood and urine test, so I told them why and obtained a letter from my doctor stating why I was on meds and that I had no restrictions or limitations. Well, the offer of the job was recinded. My husband thinks I should go off these meds next time and then not had to deal with any of this. So - how long would I have to be off the morphine for it to NOT show up on a drug test? Also aware that stoping these meds abruptly is not advised and I would discuss with my doctor. It is only available as the name brand and the 30mg tablet is a round, brown tablet, with either an OC, or an OP on one side and the number 30 on the other. What are the markings on the tablet you have? And yes, all such tablets should only be taken orally.

What are the symptoms of Roxycotton users ## You are misunderstanding the names of the medication, there is Roxicodone and Oxycontin, they both contain the narcotic Oxycodone as the active ingredient, but the Roxicodone is a regular release formulation and the Oxycontin is a time released formulation. As to the symptoms, it is going to vary from person to person and will depend on how much they are using, but some of them may be extreme drowsiness, sedation, dilated, fixed pupils and nausea/vomiting. don't know much about it. Was given after cervical fusion c6-7, curious about its ability to reduce withdrawal after use of months opiates, either oxycodone or hydrocodone for neck and arm pain, for me it had some benefit in that it stopped anxiety enough to rest post surgery but I was getting low dosage opiate and was slow to come out of anesthesia. This was 15 years ago. Is this still used? are there better ways? It seems like I was angry to reduce so quickly since I was cooperative and congruent with goal of opiate free but It seemed like a very difficult process anyway. Almost cruel in a way but it did get me out of the hospital quickly. At time of surgery I was working up to 2 weeks before surgery in an ER at major hospital in Psych ER and using 80-100 oxy qd to manage. Post su...

Hi ther ive been taking oxycontin for the past 2+ yrs (prescribed by my doc).
