My Dr. prescibed me Fentanyl 75 X/J patches I don't understand what the X/J means?? Can someone help me out?? ## Did ever discover what this meant? The X is often used instead of writing times, for multiplication, such as X3 would be to take it 3 times, but I can't find anything on what the J means.

Is this acetaminophen ? ## Yes, Q-Pap is Acetaminophen. The number 500 probably indicates a 500mg dose. Do you have any questions or details to add about this? Please post back if you do... ## I don't get why they would put a vicodin V logo on it......if there's no vicodin in it.

I have a very bad tooth ach and i have taken 2 500mlg lortabs and the pain hasnt even begin to barely go away would it hurt to take another one or take a vicodine please help cant handle the pain anymore ## Have you contacted your doctor, or a dentist? If the toothache is due to an infection, then it may be difficult to get pain relief, you are likely going to need an antibiotic. Both Lortab and Vicodin contain Hydrocodone and Acetaminophen, so continuing to take more isn't advisable, as it could result in overdose.

Can be snorted? Or best way to get into body (system) quickly ## It isn't safe to try to use any pill in a manner in which it was not intended. Tablets, especially these times released products, contain fillers and not all of them are meant to be broken down by the human body, instead they are normally just expelled in your waste. Crushing a pill to snort it, or mix it for injecting places these substances into your body in a manner, in which, it cannot be properly processed out and this creates the risk of blockages. If they were snorted, this could cause respiratory arrest and injecting could cause stroke, or embolism. Are there any other questions or comments?

I have been under a doctor’s care for the past five years. I’ve had ankle surgery, as well lower back surgery. Started off with Hydrocodone 10mg. Then another doctor, which I have to date, switch me to, Meloxicam 90 count 7.5mg three times a day. Cyclobenzaprine 90 count 10mg, three times a day. Oxycodone 90 count, 10mg three times a day. Then to Oxycodone 120 count, 15mg, four times a day. Then to Oxycodone 180 count, 15mg, six times a day. Then to Oxycodone 210 count, 15mg seven times a day. I just got prescribed hydrocodone-acetaminophn 10-325 I have never felt like this b4 takin them, they make me sick and I can barely walk keep my eyes open stop throwing up or atleast have the sensation to throw up... I'm shaking and itchy everywhere is this a stronger form Perhaps idk what it is but I'm in pain and really do not want to take them someone of u can please inform me of the highest dosage an lowest so I can see if maybe they can just lower the dosage or what not-- thank you ## The ones you are taking do have the strongest dose of Hydrocodone in them, at 10mgs, but there are lower dosages available. Has anyone had a problem with having orgasms taking opana ## Haha you'll get that with any ole narcotic!!! ## Yes problems with that. ## when i take opana i cannot get my nut for the life of me but ive heard ppl say that they cannot get hard or have a orgasm so its normal :) ## yep, it is a problem with most opiate meds ## Ha ha! I was just getting ready to post the same thing. I am taking both Opana and Dilaudid and it is killing my ability to orgasm. The female orgasm is a little tricky sometimes anyway and this is a deal breaker. Driving me bonkers and I am constantly "frustrated". I am wishing I knew if it was the Opana or Dilaudid or both... Hey All! I hope everyone is well today! I'm trying to find a new doctor in SouthEast, MI; to replace my current doctor at the UofM Spine Clinic. (Ann Arbor/Ypsilanti area in Washtenaw County to be more precise) I'm a 25 yr old that has been having problems w/my sciatic nerve, lower back & a lot of weird spasms on the left side of my body. Mostly it's the sciatica that's gotten me to the point where I can barely stand, walk, sit and it's agony to do quite a few normal day-to-day activities w/o help. Prescribed four times day..10 ml..is that too much ## Did you ask the prescribing doctor, or pharmacist? How often is the dosing schedule? It does contain a narcotic, Hydrocodone, so you do have to be cautious using it in children and really have to base it on various factors, such as why it's prescribed, the severity of the condition, their body weight and etc.

if i take the percocets will they show up in urine test the 16th like whats the difference in them ## The active narcotic in both is Oxycodone, so it will show up as that on a urine test and nothing else. However, if the dosage is different, or you've taken more than you are supposed to, then your levels may be too high, which could alert them to that. Are there any other questions or comments?

I don't want to 'doctor shop' and have had the same doctors for many years but they stopped prescribing pain medications for fear of being investigated. I am 60 years old, on Medicare only since a head-on crash in 2008 (not my fault), have a complex history of MCTD (in the Lupus family), vasculitis, need surgeries that I cannot afford, and couldn't do the simplest things (such as housework, going out, shopping, cooking, etc.) until my neurologist prescribed 5 mg. of Roxicodone 3x a day. I was wondering what milligram the little orange morphine pill with D on one side and 2 on the other, is???..... ## Hi D, Are you certain that this is a Morphine pill? Only asking because I came across another thread (linked above) with a similar pill description, stating that it is 2mgs of Hydromorphone; please correct me if I'm wrong here. In any case, the number imprint on the pill is generally indicative of the dosage of the drug. This tends to hold true in most cases, but if your pill is not Hydromorphone, then I haven't found any specific details "confirming" the dosage. I hope this helps!

I had an abdominal Hysterectomy Jan 28. Due to my super high tolerance of medications in general (not just the pain meds), It turned out to be a bit more complicated in the end, so when they sent me home on was on strict Bed-Rest for 8 1/2 weeks. And for the first six weeks I just took the Diluadid as directed (which worked out to be 72 mg/24 hour period. Then at six weeks, with the help of my doctor slowly weaned myself off of them. It took a couple of months to accomplish! My question now is (I took my last dose a week or so ago)...the two issues that I'm still really struggling with is Depression and bad anxiety, I do have a medication to help with the Anxiety...but it just makes me tired and lethargic. Which does nothing to help the Depression, so if it's been at least a wee...

It depends upon the type of test you are given. Good luck.... ## That is correct, they are two different substances and will usually be detected as such. Narcotic opiates are usually detectable in a standard urine test for approximately 4 to 5 days, after last dosing. Are there any other questions or comments?
