Dic 3% Bac 2% Cyc 2% Gab 10% Bup 5% Pen 5% ## Hello, 4dabirds! How are you? Diclo stand for 3% Diclofenac, it is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory used to relieve pain and swelling. Bac is 2% Baclofen, which is a muscle relaxant. Cyc is 2% Cyclobenzaprine, which is another muscle relaxant. Gab stands for 10% Gabapentin, which is an anticonvulsant that's also used to treat certain types of nerve pain. Pen is 5% Penicillin, which is an antibiotic used to treat or prevent topical infections in such a mixture. I am not completely sure on the Bup, but it might be 5% Buprenorphine, which is a narcotic analgesic. The most common side effects are skin reddening and application site irritation. Is there ...
Why have the blue specks in Percocet been added? When wet my tongue turned bright blue... ## I'm sorry, but I don't have any listings of a Percocet that matches this description. Can you please post back with more details? What are the markings on the tablet? The FDA warns that Percocet carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. Are you sure it isn't Vicodin, or Lortab, which contains Hydrocodone with Acetaminophen? There is a tablet that contains those ingredients that has blue specks in it. Can you please double check and post back? Thank you! ## It is a white tablet scored and other side has the t192. Prescription bottle says oxycodone/acetaminophen 5-325mg tablet. Also says mpg ca...
I’m in Lake Charles and my Doctor stopped my Percocet 10/325 mainly because I was complaining about it no longer working. Different manufacturers & fillers I believe. Anyway I’m currently on SSI Disability for my chronic pain and since stopping the Oxycodone last August I’ve had no quality of life. I can’t sleep well because of pain and can’t wait even do Daily living activities. New Doctor just kept pushing Gabapentin and different antidepressants, plus I’ve tried Lyrica & Cymbalta with horrible side effects from all. They’re trying to make me crazy. I don't even care if it’s Oxycodone. I’d rather have something that’s extended release. I’m in Lake Charles if anyone knows who may help me close by and not judg...
Is Tamol-xx 200mg (Tramadol Hcl) a long-acting drug? ## From what I can find, yes it is listed as being a time released formulation of Tramadol. Has this been prescribed for you? ## I'd like some clarity: Tamol XX tablets are white, whereas Tramadol X 200 mg tablets are pink coloured. Does anyone know why and what the different colours indicate? Maybe different applications? ## The only drug I take is Tamol-xx for pain. I had an emergency and while at the hospital I had lab work done and it came back positive for pcp. Why are these drugs manufactured using a street drug?
I am pregnant and I'm taking butalbital + apap (325mg) + caffeine. My doctor says it's ok. Can I take tylenol along with it? ## Do NOT take Tylenol or any other brand of acetaminophen with any other drug containing it. You can accidentally overdose. FDA has recently come out with a "black box" warning about this. Please do a search for Butalbital and you should find the same article regarding acetamenophin and the FDA. ## Diane is correct, in this medication, APAP is just medical speak for Acetaminophen. You can read more about the dangers of overdosing on it here NCBI Acetaminophen Hepatoxicity. Why do you feel you also need Tylenol?
I am reading a lot of complaints about this drug. I was taking Watson 3202 5-325 for pain and it worked for my pain. Now Actavis makes 2172 in place of Watson 3202. I don't see any difference. ## Some people may be more sensitive to different inactive ingredients than others. Their bodies may also process/metabolize these ingredients at a different rate, affecting absorption. However, the amount of active ingredients in generic drugs is rumored to fluctuate by up to 20% more or less. I don't know if this varies from batch to batch, but I'm glad to hear that someone else is having a good experience with the 2172 pill, as it goes to show that everyone really does react differently, despite the nay sayers calling it a placebo by comparison to Watson's older products. Please...
I've used Rhodes, Amneal & now just starting Actavis. (Oxycodone 10/325) The Rhodes seemed to work well. The Amneal seemed to barely work at all. The verdict is still out on the Actavis. I'd welcome any suggestions on generics of this drug. ## @Steve, Actavis took over Watson brand and ruined the product in comparison as stated by so many long term Watson customers. As a previous Watson lover I can say that Actavis is hit and miss at times. The 5/325 oxy are huge round hard pills that do not work at all. The softer 7.5/325 oxy are effective but not as good as the old Watson by any means. I have just started to use the 10/325 oxy and I honestly think the 7.5s worked better. Actavis is getting a bad reputation as time goes on but with alot of research on other brands and opini...
I am looking for a vitamin that looks like oxycodone - I think there was a mistake when my script was refilled and I suspect it was a vitamin. ## I'm having tooth pain. And someone gave me a small white round pill with no imprint and one line on the other side, they told me it was a Percocet? ## I need to know if there could be pills that look like percocet 30's. I too think my refill might have been wrong. ## Did you ever hear anything? I'm thinking this same thing happened to me. ## Someone had a few pills they said was oxycodone 15 mg . mine are green. This was almost a turquoise with dark blue specks on it and a very rough texture with only a faint 15 on it. They said they got damp.. That's all. I wouldn't touch it. It looked home made. Mine from pharmacy are alw...
Aspirin sized, blank on one side. Other side has an upside down triangle above the number 36 on it. ANYONE know exactly what this is?? ## Hi Dawn, based on what you're describing, I am pretty sure that it's an over the counter herbal product called Valerin (manufactured by Wonder Labs). This product is supposed to contain Magnesium Carbonate, Passiflora, and Valerian Root - a natural treatment indicated to relieve and relax muscle spasms, cramps, stress and tension. You can see a product image HERE - (check out the pill in the front of the box - it is tilted upside down but it appears to carry the inscription of an upside down triangle over the number 36). Is that what you have? I hope this helps! ## Confirmed. This is probably from a bottle of Formula 303 a natural muscle relax...
What is a white round pill with 54 262 on it, is this Morphine? What are the side effects? ## A round white pill marked 54 262 contains Morphine sulfate 30 mg. NDC: 00054-4583 (Discontinued) Morphine may cause side effects. Tell your doctor if any of these symptoms are severe or do not go away: - drowsiness - stomach pain and cramps - dry mouth - headache - nervousness - mood changes - small pupils (black circles in the middle of the eyes) - difficulty urinating or pain when urinating Some side effects can be serious. This small pill also has a logo of 2 intersecting squares or diamonds. Depends on how you look at the pill ## What is a small (about the size of a standard aspirin) round white pill that is scored, with a number 10 on top and a number 7 below it on one side? ## Ketorolaco 10mg
Why so much filler and less oxy in the RP 15s ## Hello, Jayjay! How are you? These tablets are manufactured by Rhodes Pharmaceuticals and they list them as containing 15mgs of Oxycodone in a regular release formulation. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Are you saying that these ones don't seem to work as well for you? Has anyone else experienced problems with these ones? ## They sucks don't like em not as strong ## I started taking the RHO brand on 2/25 and have been sick ever since! Now I know why! What is the recourse? How can I get the regular Oxy 15s that I was taking and get rid of these? I had to miss 3 days o...
Recently a dr prescribed Codorol and Indometruacin for me for tooth ache. I am just wondering what are these drugs? ## From what I've found, Codorol contains Paracetamol and Codeine, so it's a narcotic analgesic, used to treat pain. Indomethacin is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory that's used to treat pain and swelling. Are there any other comments or questions? ## Are codorol same as paracentamol? ## I need yo help on health issues. ## What are Ronmoxy, codorol, loratadine, Mylan-diclofenac sodium tablets for cause they gave me I was coughing ## I have pain in my abdominal region. Can i take codorol? ## Can I use Codorol for knee pain and swelling?
I take Norco 10 / 325 and they aren't doing anything. I think I was even having withdrawals sneezing diarrhea and come to find out CVS carries Lupin. At first I thought I was building up a tolerance to the pain medication but it was like overnight. This can be traced back to when I got the medication from CVS from the manufacturer Lupin. I have about a 30 day supply left and can't get anymore but I definitely will not be going back there. I will be calling pharmacies to see who does not carry Lupin. ## Omg im so glad im not alone on the pupil brand. I literally hurt all over and they wear off in about 2 hours. I'm having a hard time finding my yellow ones and when i do call looking for them im treated like crap. I just want to cry. I have severe disk degeneration and need 5 ...
I take Lyrica, Tramadol, Effexor, Vyvanse, Valium (I have been on this medication for the past forty years because I have TMJ and it works as an muscle relaxant), Hyoscyamine, Dexilant, Singulair, and vitamins. Could any of these drugs (along or in combination) be causing me to experience amnesia? I was also recently diagnosed with ADHD. ## Hello, Laura! How are you doing? I am sorry to read of the problems you've been having. Regarding the amnesia, or forgetfulness, that is listed among the possible side effects of Lyrica and Tramadol, while Vyvanse, Valium, Singular, and Hyoscyamine can all cause nervousness, and other ADHD-like symptoms. (Remove the Vyvanse, if you weren't taking it, when the ADHD appeared.) There is no way to say if your issues are due to just one of them, o...
These pills are GOOD! I just got a prescription from mexico (50mg of codeine). I only took half tho cuz 50mg of codeine is a lot to take at one time. It worked great for several hours. ## Just wanted to post the medication dosing guidelines for Codeine, in case you didn't know: "The usual adult dosage for tablets is 15 mg to 60 mg repeated up to every four hours as needed for pain. The maximum 24 hour dose is 360 mg." "Adult doses of codeine higher than 60 mg fail to give commensurate relief of pain and are associated with an appreciably increased incidence of undesirable side effects." "When the patient no longer requires therapy with codeine sulfate, doses should be tapered gradually to prevent signs and symptoms of withdrawal in the physically dependent patien...
The pill is white oblong and has L484 on it. Is it percocet? ## White oblong pill with L484 on one side. I was told it was percocets but not really sure. Please help ## Hi Liz, I believe I have identified your pill as 500 mg of Acetaminophen manufactured by Kroger with a National Drug Code of 30142-0484. Acetaminophen (Paracetamol) is classified as a mild analgesic. It is commonly used for the relief of headaches and other minor aches and pains and is a major ingredient in numerous cold and flu remedies. In combination with opioid analgesics, paracetamol can also be used in the management of more severe pain such as post-surgical pain and providing palliative care in advanced cancer patients. Though acetaminophen is used to treat inflammatory pain, it is not generally classified as an N...
I had surgery June 2nd 2017. After surgery I could not urinate so they put in a cath. After having the cath removed I took 1 flomax on June 5th 2017 around 4-4:30 in the afternoon. Haven't had any flomax since that time. Today is june 7th 2017. I have been taking Advil for pain. 8 during a 24 hour period because they said I could not take the hydrocodone with the flomax because of side effects. As it has been 48 hours since taking flomax, can I take the hydrocodone for pain now? ## Fred, hope you're healed now? Cath’s are the worst. Fast forward 1/9/2018, hope all is well and all you need is an Advil when you hurt; if you need that hydrocodone though go ahead. Good luck! Just had single shot trial and pain was gone, but the symptoms started to return after 5 1/2 hours is that normal? Returned to opioids due to withdraw symptoms and the on set of discomfort. Looking for other opinions and experiences. Thanks ## Just had Prialt single shot drug trial and I am so excited. Have been in pain for 17 yrs. Went in with level nine pain and walked out with level three. Relief lasted 24 hrs. before pain returned. Slept for six hours straight and even had a dream. I usually sleep for two hours then back up. No problems, no side effects. My husband commented that he could see the relief on my face. Looking forward to follow up office appt. ## Prialt is a non-narcotic analgesic, but like any other medication, it doesn't work well for everyone that tries it. It cou...
I was given a generic toradol 10 mg from a friend for when I sprained my hand. My question is what are the effects of this pill? e.i. Hydrocodone seems to speed some people up, vicodin makes people drowsy, tramadol speeds some people up. I just want to know how it will affect me once I take it, whether morning or bedtime would be the best time to take this if there is any effect. ## There is really no way for anyone else to know how it is going to affect you. However, Toradol contains the active ingredient Ketorolac, which is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory and not a narcotic. Its normal side effects can include: nausea, headache, dizziness and stomach irritation. Learn more: Are there any other questions or comments? ## Can anyone please tell me how much a Toradol shot costs?
