AARP is not an organization looking out for seniors and getting savings on drugs. AARP should have the following information at their fingertips and I have brought it to their attention in 2 separate emails. Pfizer has revised their patient income limit. The new limits are $47,080 annualy for a single person. If your income is below that level you can get drugs like Celebrex, Lyrica and others for FREE. Previously, my prescription for Lyrica and Premarin put me in the donut hole by March. Now, since I get them FREE directly from Pfizer I am nowhere near the donut hole. Pfizer is a great company looking out for seniors. Due to this pain, I'm not able to lift my hand and turn my head. I have sleep disturbance due to the pain and have sleepless nights. Please help me. ## I am having the same problem. After the first surgery the surgeon did some kind of damage to my arm that was in 2016 but no neck burning and to this day after X-rays and CT's nothing comes up and it hurts terribly and I like you can hardly lift it and have a burning pain. Im in a lot of pain. I have norco 5-325 that was giving to me from one doctor. Now another doctor wants me in morphine 15mg er. It took forever to get the morphine today so i took the norco to calm some pain down. Is it safe to take the morphine now that it has been 2 hours after taking the norco? ## It should be, as long as your doctor approves, but you may experience more intense side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness and dry mouth. This medication also carries the risk of being habit forming. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Wait 8 to 20 hours. If you want the full effect it's 30 hours.

I HAVE OA AND need both knees and right hip replaced, I also have bone infarcts in both legs and in 2003 had a car accident that broke my neck c5,c6 &c7 along with damaging L5 -S1 disc herniation effacing the right S1 nerve root. my sciatic nerve is pinched and the pain is indescribable. I too had my RX medication refilled (again) at Walgreens, but this time (When I did not take my RX Tylenol with it, like I always do) I noticed, that I have been given a different Brand of medication (A Generic Brand/MFG by-ACTAVIS). My "Norco-Hydrocodone/Acetaminophen 5-325/TB" did not work as prescribed or even when I took 3 pills at one time (because 1 nor 2 pills didn't work/relieve my pain). I believe I have been given FAKE NORCO/Hydrocodone pills (white/#2172 on them) from Walgreens Pharmacy. I have a round white tablet with no imprint other than a slash mark across it on one side...? ## @Panzer, Based on my own investigations HAB Pharmaceuticals does appear to be a legitimate drug manufacturer. You can email HAB Pharmaceuticals directly at [email protected], to find out if it's truly something they make. On the other hand, the validity of the pill itself will probably depend on where/how you came about receiving it (i.e. having your Rx filled at a licensed pharmacy v.s. being purchased on the web). If the latter of the two, then there's no honest way of knowing what you have unless you get it analyzed by a lab. Counterfeits these days can look just like the real thing, so retrieving some harder evidence...

I have been under pain management for over 14 years. I never had an issue until the last few months of course I live in Florida. If you do not live in FL you will not understand what is happening. Due to the lovely pill mills and abusers we are unable to get some medications that we need. Most pain mgrs. will not write certain scripts because of the DEA. What most people may not be aware is that to control the amount of pills prescribed in Florida the DEA will only ship so much to each pharmacy. Once they are out they can not reorder they have to wait until the next month before the next shipment comes in this not only creates a problem when trying to fill a prescription but it can be viewed as pharmacy jumping. A pharmacy can refuse to fill our prescription if you are from another city...

I was given a white oblong pill with just a 5 on it. I was told it was an opioid. A percocet 10 mg. It's driving me mad that I can't figure this out!! Someone please help. ## Jay, a 5 denotes 5mg, not 10 mg. At least with any pain meds I know. Just saying.

I've been taking 240mg of morphine per day for many years. I took one suboxone strip monday then went back to the morphine. Will the suboxone strip show on a urine screen on wednesday along with the morphine? Or should I be ok? ## What was the dosage of the Suboxone? I have been taking generic Watson for two torn meniscus surgeries including taking the brand. After getting this latest prescription filled by ALEVGON there is a serious problem with the medication. I consulted both of my nephews who are chief pharmacists at top philadelphia hospitals and they both explained that not only the binders different but there is a sliding scale that each generic company can use which takes the narcotic pain reliever as far down as 85 percent! With that said in addition to the first pill taken i became violently ill, throwing up and dizzy! My pharmacy switched to Mallinkrodt generic percocet 10/325. After 3 months of taking them my wrists are stiff; my outer side of hands, pinky & ring fingers have gone totally numb! Also, little to NO pain relief, withdrawal symptoms ie; like the flu, exhaustion, episodic sweating, nausea...as if I’m taking a fake pill! I’ve been a legit CP PATIENT for 20 years; never a problem. I also took the Watson. Last prescription I received amneal which were awful. Aleve worked better! I threw them away! I did take the Mylan before and they was not too bad. Don't know if any generic now can get close to the Watson.Now I found two different pharmacies that carry mylan and endocet. Seems from reading, Endo does not make the generic endocet only the brand percocet, its qualitest which is now part of Endo since 2010 per Endo website. Confusing to me. How do I stop uncontrollable movements after being switched off Fentanyl patch 50mcg / hr? The Dr said to wait a couple of hours before taking Oxycontin 30 mg.
