This is my 3 cancer treatment. I do chemo and radiation but this pain medication is not doing me good. Do i need to ask my doctor to switch to Dilaudid? ## The correct medication name is actually Dilaudid, which may be why some where having difficulty finding information on it. It is a narcotic analgesic that contains the active ingredient Hydromorphone, which means it may be habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness and constipation. In regards to cancer, it is just used to relieve pain. Johnny1, what did you end up doing? Did you find something to help? ## I have a script of dilaudid 4mg and have a hard time finding it. I want to know that what excipients are used in alaxan fr ## Hi Thinzar, From what I could gather Alaxan FR contains Ibuprofen (200mg) + Paracetamol (325mg); a combination indicated for use in treating mild to moderate levels of pain. Unfortunately I can't seem to locate any specific details pertaining to the inactive ingredients found in these tablets. However, I believe that type of information is usually listed on the packaging itself. If I had to guess I wouldn't think this product is manufactured in the U.S., due to the lack of available information on it. If this is something you can pick up at your local pharmacy, you might want to double check with them as well. Does anyone else have more info on these tablets?
My pharmacy told me there going to stop making loratab 10.500.IV taking the 10.325 but doesn't help as much. Is this true about the 10.500 .and if so I can't take loracets or noracotes.they make me sick my stomach. So what shouldn't I ask my doctor to switch me to, percusets ?I don't want to take oxycodon but I have been taking loratab ten years..so would the percusets be the next level to move to? I can't hold my job down if dont have them. the white pill APO/500 is acetaminophen, which is tylenol (500mg of tylenol) ## That is correct. However, for anyone attempting to identify a tablet, there are several with similar markings, so pay close attention to the shape, color and any other details added to the marking. Are there any other questions or comments? ## i actually found that in my daughters room... can it be abused?
My husbands doctor says there is not a generic for Kadian. You say you are taking the generic Kadian...what is the name of it?? ## MS CONTIN ## If your dr. writes for Kadian and accepts a generic form on the script the pharmacy can get it from Alpharma. It is the exact pill but with morphine sulfate on the label. Your pharmacist will have to do the digging and order it in for you in your dose. ## KADIAN vs GENERIC Kadian. I am not a MD but I do take Kadian. This is what I know. Kadian is morphine sulphate slow release long lasting. KADIAN says Kadian on the capsule. There is Not a generic for Kadian. However, like I said Kadian is morphine sulphate. There are many manufacturers of Morphine sulphate. I was taking Kadian for many years. At one point the pharmacy filled my prescription wit...

It is a small yellow pill with a raised triangle on top and the bottom of the triangle has a small notch in it. This could also look like an arrow tip. I don't know if it is a supplement or a Rx. ## Hello, Sam! How are you? These round, yellow tablets with the heart logo are over the counter Aspirin tablets, they are the low dose 81mg tablets that are often used for blood thinning and heart health. Is there anything else I can help with?
I have been using Norco 10/325 for 5+ years. The last prescription arrived with a color change. (From yellow to white) The difference is life changing. After 30 minutes, I become sleepy, the exact opposite of the yellow tablets which gave me energy along with reduction in pain. I have had both hips replaced, resulting in severe back pain. The Norco has allowed me to live normally for 6 hours a day. Is there any way or anywhere that I could get the original yellow tablets? ## No, the yellow ones are no longer being manufactured. The company removed the dye from them, due to issues with people being allergic to it, or suffering from sensitivities, which has resulted in the appearance of the white ones that are now on the market. Learn more Norco details here. The new side effect of sleepi...

NEED TO KNOW IF ENDOCET 10/325 IS THE SAME AS OXYCODONE 10 MG??? ## No, Endocet contains Oxycodone and Acetaminophen, so it is a combination medication, which uses the Acetaminophen to help the Oxycodone work better. Learn more Oxycodone details here. ## i saw my Doctor today, (February 26, 2013), and I took the Scripts that the Doctor (Shin, Carl M.D.) prescribed for me to my pharmacy where I was able to get the pharmacy to refer me to the one next door to them in the same parking lot which was located in another store because they were not able to fill this prescription. The reason they gave me was ...
I just got these this month. I had been taking the Watson 503. Which were 10/650's. These are 10/325. I've only been taking these for a couple of days and have taken the yellow Watson before. These are not as good. they are not as potent nor do they last as long. I was hoping that they would be more effective but they aren't. its not in my head. Watson by far makes the best generic Lortab. ## Hello, Joshintn! How are you? Sorry about the problem that you're having. With less Acetaminophen in them, it is only normal that you would notice a difference and find them to not be as effective. The Acetaminophen potentiates the action of the narcotic, so when there is more in them, it is more effective. Lortab, however, is no longer available. All of these combination prescripti...
LONG WHITE ## I cannot find an identification for this exact marking. However, I can tell you that pills marked with an L followed by three additional numbers are over the counter products. They are manufactured by LNK International and are sold in many countries as generics or store brands of these over the counter products. That also explains why I can't find a listing for it, OTC items are not required to have the imprints logged, like prescription medications are. Does anyone else possibly know what this one is? ## L552 is IBUPROFEN 800mg's
Ran out of my Vicodin prescription by one day which I take every 3 to 4 hours. To avoid withdrawls I took 3 15mg morphine sulfate pills untill my doctor called my prescription in the following afternoon. 76 hours later the office sprang a surprise urine test. Will the Morphine show up?
Updated in MorphineI've been prescribed oxycodone 30mg for almost a year now due to back and knee injuries and it has become impossible to fill my prescriptions here in the state of Florida its been impossible to fill any pain meds for that matter. What is the deal and what can I do? ## I really wish I had some type of answer for you, but unfortunately, I don't. There have been many complaints recently from people in Florida that have been having problems getting narcotic prescriptions filled. However, I haven't been able to find anything that actually explains it. I know they were trying to crackdown on the 'pill mill' problem, so that may be what's caused the issue, by making pharmacies afraid to fill them. Have any of the pharmacies given you a reason for not filling them? ## Im...

I've been having severe hip and lower back problems. My roommate gave me one and a half of his Morphines. I took it on Friday at 6 am and had a urine test on Monday at 4:45 pm. Do you think I'll test positive. I have prescriptions for everything else I've taken. ## No, you did not take high enough doses for a long enough period of time for this to show up in your drug test. However, if your pain is severe enough to require Morphine, then you really need to speak to your doctor and find something that will help you. Have they prescribed you any type of pain medication? ## ive tooken 8 8mg dilaudas from mon thru fri about 3pm was the last time i took 1 but i have a drug test on wed 10am do you think it will show up or no ## Iv never posted to anything like this before.
