I take ol-tram 100mg for chronic pain issues. From HAB pharmaceuticals. I open the capsule and tip it in my mouth, because I can't swallow tablets as I am a little baby, lol. Female, between 25 - 30 years old. Healthy weight. Will let you know how it goes. ## Has been 2 hours, feel fine, has taken the edge of pain, will take one more 100mg, should remove pain. So far no problems at all with HAB pharmaceuticals ol-tram. ## Has been 5 hours since first capsule, 3 hours since second capsule. Pain has subsided, feel fine, exactly same result as from any other tramadol. There is nothing wrong with ol-tram 100mg from HAB pharmaceuticals. I would question the motive from the previous person in this forum who says these are not effective. . . ## So how did you get your script filled with th...

Hello, First, let me start by saying that I am somewhat opiate naive. I am not in pain management and hopefully won't need to be. I've had scripts here and there for norco and percocet. It is the generic percocet, or more specifically the oxycodone, i'd like to discuss here. Over the past year i've had issues (such as a broken elbow, recurring kidney stones, and a staghorn lodged in my renal pelvis [kidney]), that have lead to several prescriptions for percocet from a total of 4 different manufacturers. Mallinckrodt 10/325, Amneal 7/325, Rhodes Pharmacy 10/325, and AuroBindo 10/325. I've read a lot of reviews about the aforementioned generic manufacturers. The majority of them have been negative especially for Rhodes. Mallinckrodt and AuroBindo are the only two that ...

Many other people are telling me that ip 110 which is another generic form of hydrocodone 10/325, does not work for them nearly as well as watson 853, which is a better generic of the same thing - hydrocodone 10/325. Obviously, pharmacies are buying ip 110 cause they are cheaper. What else is known out there, and in other people's experience, is it the same? I would like to know? ## Hello, Dr. Moki! How are you? I've actually taken both of them, at different times when it was prescribed and found them both to work well for me. Just like any other medication, it can vary from person to person. The additional thing you have to remember is that most people don't post or talk about a medication, unless they've had a problem with it, there is a much larger number of people th...

My husband is prescribed tramadol, he takes 50mg tablets, 1 pill 4 times daily. But for the last 2 months they said his urine test at the Dr is negative for tramadol. He has taken them every day as prescribed for 2 years as part of his pain regiment for his auto immune diseases. The doctor said if his lab work next month is negative of tramadol again, he will dismiss him as a patient. My husband has 5 auto immune diseases and it took 3 years to get to a doctor who could figure out what was going on and get him on treatments. If he's dismissed, he will lose his biologics treatment for the illness, not just pain relief. Does anyone know why his tramadol is not showing up in the lab work??? I'm at a loss! ## 2 possible reasons...Someone is swapping out his meds with a look-alike or...

propoxy-n/apap ## Medications lose effectiveness after their expiration date and should be discarded. ## i have a perscribtion bottle that the docter has perscribed to me on 11/19/08 and the use before date gives me 11/18/09. i want to know if i take that medication will it affect me im feeling bodey ach . the perscribed medication is tramadol. ## Wrong. The expiration date just guarantees potency by the manufacturer, usually 2 years from date of manufacture. At one time only applied to antibiotics. Gov. couldn't find anything else to control so off to the races. Took a Darvocet-N 100 yesterday that had a 1994 expiration date. Got relief.

I lost my ex son-in-law on 1/20 -- he was murdered. A week later my sister dies of brain cancer. I have pyloric spasm which is exasperated by stress. I went to the doctor the day my sister passed away and proceeded to explain the deep loss I felt in my family. To which she replies "these things happen and you just need to deal with it. No compassion, no I'm sorry for your loss. No 'how can I help you deal with the stress'. The last time I went in I filled out a mental form which asked the question how many days a week do you feel like you would be better off dead and I said 7. When I tried to explain that my life is compromised by extreme pain and constant nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea, she told me that she does not put herself in her patient's shoes. Needless to sa...

I have a round pink pill with a boxed in "M" on one side and a small "10" on the top of the pill on the other side. What is this pill? ## Round pink pill with M in a box on one side and 10 on the other side: Oxycodone 10 mg NDC: 0406-8510 Manufacturer: Mallinckrodt Labeler: SpecGx LLC Inactive Ingredients: - Microcrystalline Cellulose - Lactose Monohydrate - Stearic Acid - D&C Red No. 27 Aluminum Lake Ref: DailyMed ## It's a dark pink pill. Also on the side where the 10 is it's on top and it has a bold split down the middle. One person told me it is oxycodone but I can't find anything. ## Hmmm, well the M in a box definitely sounds like a Mallinckrodt product. Here's an example of an Oxycodone 30 mg from them which is light blue and has the number 30...

Used to take for cramps. What was it? ## Is this still on the market? I used to take it for cramps ## Hello, Mel and Sandy! How are you both? Edrisal contained the active ingredient Phenacetin, however, it was banned by the FDA in 1983 due to the increased risk it caused of kidney failure and certain types of cancer. It is actually metabolized into Acetaminophen(Tylenol) so that is what it was replaced with in over the counter medications. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I wish they would research this some more and make any necessary changes. It really worked great for cramps. I don't know about you but it gave me a very euphoric feeling and feeling of well-being, but I never took more than absolutely needed. ## I took it also, back in the 60’s. It made me VERY ALE...

I've been taking lyrica everyday for around 7 months. I've tried to stop taking them and the withdrawal symptoms are so severe I couldn't bare it after 5 days. apart from severs sweating feeling sick and aching all over, its the hallucinations and feeling like you are going to die. I mean really thinking you are going to have a heart attack. I could see my aura and time goes by so slowly it's worse then any opiate withdrawals. I was terrified and went back on them. I take 500 to 100 mg a day. I must get off them. I can't stand it. I worry that if I had to go into a hospital I would start withdrawing and I wouldn't be able to get them. Can you help me? What can I do? ## Hello, Debz! How are you doing? I'm sorry about what you're going through. The FDA clas...

Just for your info, Hydrocodone is now being mixed with 500 mg of Aspirin and that is why this pain medication is not working for people anymore. I would not take it as it causes nose bleeds and abdominal bleeding which can cause ulcers: [1] ## I still get my Norco 10 with 325mg Tylenol as usual. I'm on blood thinners so I can't take any more aspirin. Your doctor can specify which one to take per your situation.

Does this medication have aspirin in it? Husband will be having surgery & was told not to take anything w/aspirin. ## No, Hydrocodone + Acetaminophen (APAP) does NOT contain Aspirin in it. ## Yes, it may not have been the case before, but Hydrocodone now has 500 mg Aspirin in it: [1]

According to the FDA's website there is no shortage, so what's going on? Has anyone been able to locate any? accessdata.fda.gov/scripts/drugshortages/default.cfm ## Well I still can't find any in my area. This is ridiculous. It's been a long time and they should have them in stock now. My pharmacy doesn't have a straight answer for what's going on and when they will be available. If anyone finds any in Michigan-suburbs of detroit area Plz say if u have found any ## It takes a while for drug shortages to show on the website. If the Manufactures are still changing the labels from when it was reclassified, there isn't a shortage. It also takes more than one area to report a shortage before it is listed and it depends on who is doing the reporting. Also just beca...

What is the difference in the 2? I have gotten 2 different prescriptions for hydroco/apap 5-500 and one says generic for vicodin and the other says generic for lortab 5. ## PS I got one in August and then one again Yesterday (December). It was different locations as well, would this be a factor in the difference? ## Initially, when these medications were still under full patent, and not available as generics, Lortab and Vicodin were both brand names for different dosages of Hydrocodone with Acetaminophen, but since this medication is now available as a generic, pharmacies can pretty much pick, and choose what name brand they refer to, when dispensing the generic. In other words, as long as the dosage is correct, it doesn't mean anything, and doesn't matter which name brand they ...

I found an oblong pill with the imprint 51 on it. It's kind of like the marroonish color of an advil..I have done a Google search and can't seem to find any info. If anyone knows what this pill could be please let me know. Thank you. ## I've had several people ask about this tablet and I still can't find anything definitive on it. Thus, I am wondering if it may be something that is available over the counter, such medications are usually not listed in the FDA or NIH databases. The closest I've been able to find, so far, has P 51 on it and is a red gel cap that contains Decussate, which is used as a laxative and stool softener. It's typical side effects may include nausea, dizziness, bloating, abdominal cramping and diarrhea. Does anyone else recognize this pill? ...

Hydros say IP 109 and Naproxen says IP 190 ## Hi amanda, Thanks for clearing up any confusion between the two pills! From what I could gather, another differentiating factor is that Naproxen's tablet also has "500" imprinted on the other side of IP 190; whereas with Hydrocodone/Apap, IP 109 is the only imprint. I found a small round yellow pill with a capital E engraved on one side and nothing written on the other side. What is it? ## Hi Amy, Based on the description provided, a round yellow pill marked "E" is an 81 mg Aspirin Enteric Coated tablet. (NDC 63548-3602) Aspirin is often used as an analgesic to relieve minor aches and pains, as an antipyretic to reduce fever, and as an anti-inflammatory medication. Can i take 2 hydrocodone pills if i am in severe pain but only prescribed to take 1 pill at a time? ## Hello, Hank! How are you? You should not do so, without your doctors approval, since it is an opiate and doubling up could be too much for some people that are not opiate tolerant. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I have had to take another Hydrocodone 10mg one hour after taking my initial dose in order to control pain. ## Can I take one IP109 white pill and a M365 white hydrocodone pill at the same time for my pain? I have a bottle of capsules that says "Adiolol Tramadol" on the bottle. And, the manufacturer is SBL Pharmaceuticals. Anyone could theoretically just put a bunch of pills inside of a container so without knowing the capsule description I can't do much for you. If you give me the info on those then I'll be more than happy to get you some additional information. ## I have Adiolol 100 mg capsules that are white with no markings. Are they counterfeit?
