Pink M 10
UpdatedI have a round pink pill with a boxed in "M" on one side and a small "10" on the top of the pill on the other side. What is this pill?
Oxycodone 10 mg
NDC: 0406-8510
Manufacturer: Mallinckrodt
Labeler: SpecGx LLC
Inactive Ingredients:
- Microcrystalline Cellulose
- Lactose Monohydrate
- Stearic Acid
- D&C Red No. 27 Aluminum Lake
Ref: DailyMed
Re: Roy (# 1)
It's a dark pink pill. Also on the side where the 10 is it's on top and it has a bold split down the middle. One person told me it is oxycodone but I can't find anything.
Re: Ron (# 2)
Hmmm, well the M in a box definitely sounds like a Mallinckrodt product.
Here's an example of an Oxycodone 30 mg from them which is light blue and has the number 30.

One might reason that their 10 mg Oxycodone would come in a similar form but just be a different color with the number 10. While it is possible, I did not find anything matching that description in their Product Catalog (PDF) (scroll to the bottom of page 10 and you will see that same light blue tablet, and then a 15 mg dose right above it, but nothing with 10). It might be from outside the United States but I can't confirm that either.
Re: Roy (# 3)
Thank you so much for your feedback, I was told it was indeed an oxycodone 10mg, just a new version of the pill generic
Re: Ron (# 2)
I have the same pill but don’t know what it is myself!! To me it would be on a pill identifier if it exists, or am I wrong? Any one?
Re: Rickeyson (# 5)
Yes, I would expect it to be easy to identify if it was a standard US Rx. Either that or it's just so recent that the databases haven't been updated yet.
Re: Roy (# 3)
I agree it's weird that you can't even find this pill on Google or any pill identifiers. I think ima go with it being a counterfeit pill. To all coming across this pill be safe.
Re: RON (# 4)
Did you ever find out what this was
Re: Justme (# 9)
Where did you find this info I can't find any info on it anywhere
Re: RON (# 4)
It is oxycodone, I got them from the pharmacy . New pill
Re: Billy (# 11)
Can you please share the manufacturer name and/or the NDC code from your prescription?
Re: RON (# 4)
They definitely are oxycodone 10 mg it’s new print as of late
You got this from the pharmacy?? I can't find this anywhere online either.
Re: Willy (# 13)
Dispensed from a licensed pharmacy? If so, what is listed on the label for the manufacturer and NDC?
Re: Roy (# 15)
Don't know if this will help, but they come from the pharmacy. The bottle says rx2005128-03830. They are bigger than the usual k56 pills my friend receives.
Re: Tay (# 14)
I also received the same pill from Walgreens. Oxycodone 10 mg. Beginning of Jan 2022.
Re: Tony (# 16)
Thank you, but I don't think that is the actual NDC number that is usually listed on the label. It usually follows a format of 4 numbers, then a hyphen, then 3-4 numbers (but can vary)... such as ####-####, and it should say "NDC" somewhere before the digits.
Even if someone could share the manufacturer name that is listed on the label, that would be really helpful to confirm.
Re: Roy (# 18)
SpecGX is what my bottle says looks like they are part of Mallinckrodt.
Re: Renee86 (# 8)
It is indeed a new generic version of Oxycodone 10 mg. My script was just filled with these.

Not for me. The white round Percocet I've been prescribed previously took care of my debilitating lower back pain without making me fall asleep anytime I took it. Now I get to sleep round the clock thanks to this new immediate release formula. Just what I always wanted. Terrible.
Re: Roy (# 1)
Does anyone here know if they are really glossy? I have a bunch of these I got recently. I took a few since I am tolerant to oxycodone and I did feel itchy. But I took some today and I didn't feel itchy and I just felt weird. I truly couldn't distinguish the feeling and I know that fentanyl has similar side effects. Whoever has got these from the pharmacy, can you confirm that they are glossy on the sides? (Edges) not as glossy on the faces (front and back) these look so similar to the pictures I can find online, however there is only like two pictures I can compare them to.
Re: Roy (# 1)
That is it. Thanks Roy. Hopefully everyone with questions can see your post. A lot of questions with no replies. Posted my first comment several days ago.
The pink round M logo with 10 is Roxicodone (oxycodone) immediate release, no Tylenol. Much better medication than the oxycodone 10/325(Percocet). For myself anyway.
I research about Mallinckrodt Pharmaceutical. They are located in Ireland as far as the company itself. Unsure if the medication is manufactured overseas, as I am in the US. https://www.mallinckrodt.com/about
Re: Tee (# 7)
No. This medication is not illegally manufactured. It is oxycodone 10mg. Also known as Roxicodone immediate release MFG SPECGX. Prescribed 1 every six hours for pain. I tried to provide a link on initial post but not sure it was successful. Wish there was an edit option. Stalking* was an error when replying to Biggitboo #19 page 1. Think I was simply trying to write doctors are restricted by too many unnecessary regulations. This medication works great for consistent pain and is 100% legit.
Re: Renee86 (# 8)
It's oxycodone hydrocodone 10 mg. Immediate release. From the looks of it it's another manufacturer as, for example, percocet.
Re: Biggityboo (# 19)
Prescribed this medication today along with methocarbamol 500mg. Bright pink round pill with logo M one side 10 with a huge groove says, SPECGX. Had no idea but they are Mallinckrodt. I have been unbearable pain. Failed to bring bottle last month. Had steroid injection, asked for a butrans patch like an nut. Sleep, irritability, moody, and sad is all that did. Thankful to get my meds back. Provider staff has been messing up on pre-authorization lately, delaying refills. Put my name where doc was to sign, and left off diagnosis. These people need to slow down and do there jobs more professionally. New insurance is a nightmare, been waiting since Feb 23, 22 for a MRI. Calls today with apologies from insurance. Waiting for SI joint fuse. No quality of life without my pain meds. Zero. How this affects the brain is remarkable. I finally got out of bed after almost 3 months and walked outside briefly. Unable to bend, squat, put shoes on, etc. Lumbar pain, right Iliac crest, right thigh felt like kicked by a horse and then the previous injury on left prominent bone near private area is a pain that drains all energy. Back where I started with pain beginning in 2006 from a MVA. SI joint is from child birth trauma or joint informality. Ready to get these over. Can’t see coming off pain meds. Been on them since 2006. Numerous med problems and possible EDS, daughter just diagnosed with.
Please excuse the long reply, I feel like I have other who can relate and not call us pill head, addicts, etc. Which I didn’t need then. Used to never take a Tylenol, prior to endometriosis. Hang on there pain family. Praying doctors are allowed to take back control of patients. I’m tired of pain management, their mistake, delays, etc. They try to see to many patients but also stalked to unnecessary regulations. The illegal drug market is the problem. Wide open border, drug by mail online, fake manufacturers that look real. I ain’t taking no street drug.
Re: Larry (# 34)
Assuming that you were prescribed this drug and had it filled at a licensed pharmacy, it should be what it's supposed to. It is relatively new, which is why there is probably not a lot of information on it. You can see the official drug label hosted on DailyMed to confirm:

Re: Billy (# 11)
So if it's real why is it not on Google?
Re: Glenn (# 20)
Do they even help?
Re: Biggityboo (# 19)
That’s exactly what it is
