Am looking for a new pain management doctor who is willing to prescribe ms contin and/or norco 10mg. I suffer from chronic pain: polymyalgia rheumatica, migraines, osteoarthritis, etc and am in need of these to get out of bed. The pain is debilitating. I live near Schaumburg,Illinois. Any suggestions especially from personal experience would be appreciated.
Updated in MS Contininsurance won't cove OxyContin what amount of morphine Er would I need in its place. I've been on every drug there is ## I'm on 6/30 mg's of Morphine ER a day after taking Oxycodone 10/325 @ 8 per day~I have to tell you though, the Morphine makes me extremely tired & I may be switching meds again? I sleep all the time now & it's really out of control! I need to find a med for my pain that doesn't knock me out 24/7!!! ## Hello, Judy! How are you? Oxycodone is one a half times stronger than Morphine, so you'd need 90mgs of Morphine to be equivalent to each 60mgs of Oxycontin that you were taking. The FDA classifies this medication as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizzi...
Have a legitimate prescription for Hydrocodone 5/325 but have been all over Orlando and no pharmacy has them in stock. Have tried them all - Walgreens, CVS, Target, WalMart, etc. Can anyone help? If you know any pharmacy where you've had some success, please be willing to share. I am out tomorrow and am growing anxious and afraid. I don't know what else I can do. ## I was on this med for a while. I went though a period of cant find it also back a couple years ago. Its more than likely a shortage of the medication. Has any of the pharmacy's told you when they will have it? I would call your Dr and let them know what is going on and that you will be out of it. Why they have shortages sometimes...... is just a lack of a certain ingredient. So ask the pharmacy first....... then ...
My boyfriend and I are very experienced with Roxy 30mg and had never heard of a 60mg but trust the friend we were buying from. After only doing half of it I became skeptical. I didn't even think to look at the markings before I did it, all I can see now is an A. It's small, blue and round like 30's, is there a such thing as a 60mg? ## no theres no such thing yet rly unless is like oxys its a 30 mg roxy it prob said a/215 ## you got f----d no such thing as a 60mg roxy or oxycodone as its really called. Maybe you should try looking the pills up online b4 u pay 4 them if ur goin thru a scumbag like that ## If there were the big blue ones that look similar to lowertabs and say r636 They are roxy 60mg So you don't have to worries everything is ok ## no, there is no such thing...
I am prescribed 30mg hcl oxycodone, is 15mg hcl oxycodone the same on a drug test? ## Yes they are the same. If you are going to be tested & the physician you are going to is using the newer tests in the office you should know that tests show how much of the medication is in your system. For instance, if you are on 4 15mg Roxis a day then you need to be taking 2 30mg Roxis a day and if the 30's are @ to strong all you need to do is split the 30 in half bc the 15mg & the 30mg ARE EXACTLY THE SAME WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE STRENGTH
I've been taking hydrocodone since December of 2012. After my unsuccessful shoulder surgery and then finding out that I have severe arthritis in both hips. My insurance paid for the first 12 prescriptions, since then I've paid for them out of my own pocket, which was only around $14 a month. Yesterday I went to Walgreens to get a refill and the clerk said they would be 62.85! I thought there must be some mistake. So I headed to Walmart, they had gone up to 68.01! Then I headed to a small town pharmacy and they charged me $25. I was relieved, but, very confused! Does anyone know why there has been such a steep price increase on hydrocodone? I can't find anything about on the net! ## Hello! Very sorry for the sudden price change. However no, I am not aware of any particular re...
Hi there I was wondering if anyone knows of any doctors who prescribe pain meds in maine..please help me if I have alot of medical reasons for pain meds. Thank you for your time. ## Hello, Louise! How are you? I'm very sorry that you're in pain. Due to the new directives that were set forth by the FDA last year, you'll most likely need to see a pain management specialist. Do you currently have a PCP that could refer you to someone? If so, that might be the quickest and easiest way to find the help you need. Can anyone recommend a good doctor in that area? ## I don't know how bad your pain is but if it is that terrible and unbearable I would recommend a methadone clinic. Its easy, fast and cheap. I had two broken femurs and medal rods, constant pain, after a few years my d...
What is this white oval pill that says...Ip 207? Can't find it, and I've never had this much of a problem. So is it real, what is it? ## Ip207 is 7.5mg- oxyicodone generic for percocet 7.5mg ## Please tell me how u know that when i can not find nothin for it on internet ## I'm also curious to know where groid (post #1) found that information on the pill ID, as from what I've researched IP 207 doesn't even seem to exist? IP 203 however is the next closest match I could find on the internet; and this is identified as a 5mg/325mg generic Percocet made by Amneal Pharma. Based off that info it's probably safe to assume that Amneal also manufacturers other pills with the "IP" marking, which means they'd likely have more specific details on whether IP 207 is...
I have been on the Duragesic Transdermal Patch for years. I've never used the generic form, so I can't compare the two. I've been on Narcotics for many years, due to a chronic back, hip, and knee condition. The Duragesic Patch has been more effective than anything else. I've had it all...Percocet, Hydrocodone, Oxycotin, methadone...Unlike a pill, the medication doesn't wear off in 3 to 4 hours. Unlike pills, I don't suffer from nausea. I think the benefts of the patch outweigh any negative results from other narcotics. I only have one complaint about the Duragesic Patch...It won't stay stuck on me. It always falls off. However, the maker of patch, does offer overlay dressings, free of charge. The overlay dressing is a clear, thin sheet, that is applied over t...
I have a question. I have noticed that there are numerous different prescription medications that are under the same scientific name when they are drug tested in a 12 panel drug test, hair follicle test to be exact. Im curious to know if the laboratory can/does decipher the different drugs under these scientific name when they do their tests. I would appreciate your help. Thanks ## The lab I partner with does not test for benzos but most hair drug tests can differentiate between the different benzo because each benzo creates a different metabolite inside the body and the test is looking for that metabolite. For instance a hair drug test can tell the difference in opiates such as heroin, morphine and codeine and reported as such on the result page. So if a lab did a test for benzos they ...
Is this pill consider Norco and dose it work as good as the Watson? ## Hi JoAnn, To answer your first question, Hydrocodone bitartrate + APAP is a generic for brand name Norco. The APAP is simply an abbreviation for Acetaminophen. In terms of how it compares to the Watson (Actavis) formula, this is something that can only be determined by you since everyone is affected different by the same medication(s). Not only that, but you didn't actually list what manufacturer makes your pill, so there is no feasible way to compare it to another manufacturer?
I was addicted to tramadol for three years. I was in bad car accident, and prescribed 4 50 MG tablets per day. At first they were great. Managed my pain, gave me energy, made me last longer in bed to name a few. Six months into my treatment I noticed I was always running out before my next refill. I went on line a Dr called me and I had 180 next day. This Dr per scribed me 8 50mg. I took this dose for two and a half years. I also started taking mmj which intensified the effects. My actual Dr said I didn't need any more. I disagreed because they help me. August 15,15 tramadol becomes a controlled subtance. Three weeks prior to this date I decided I was going to stop. I read on the internet that the best way to stop was to slowly take less over a few weeks. I had a hard time doing thi...

Can I take these with diclac 75mg? ## Hi, Gav! How are you? No, you shouldn't take both of them. The Ibuprofen in the Melfen and the Diclofenac in the Diclac are both nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, so essentially you'd be doubling up on the same thing. To help with any possible pain, fever or swelling, only one of them is needed. Learn more Diclac details here. Learn more Melfen details here. Which one has your doctor advised you to take? ## Is difeen the same as melfen

Not only did my insurance have to make a fuss over covering this $750.00 medication for 30 a month but now that they are it is not helping me as well as my Nucynta's did and he wont put me back on them or NO DOCTOR in my area will give me the Rodxycodone due to the addicts, I don't want to be on a Schedule 2 drug but they claim I am seeking if I want something no as strong. What is wrong with these physicians these days, the ones that are not addcits can't get squat but send a addcit into the office and they come out with 2 or ...

It would be awful to get cut off of somthing that actually worked...Anything more powerful, I break out in hives...I'm also taking other CND like soma and clonipin...Will that make a difference? and I weigh 115 lbs...I used to be 125LBs before my parkinson's really got to me? and I'm fairly sedentary...I don't drive a lot; only work 15 hours per week; and am on disability,,,Don't misunderstand me...I'm also taking sinemet and have tried many many other things...Before adding the bandaids (Clonipin and soma) for spasm, they had me on another combination, but the FDA took it off t...

Found.. White pill imprint Watson 540.. 10 Mg...? Usually they are blue:10mg/500 hydrocodone/acephatamine Different color same imprint? Same thing or not? Usually they have different imprints or why change color..? ## It's interesting you mentioned that because "most" of the images I found have been oval blue pills. I did however come across a legitimate photo of the one you're describing (elliptical, white, imprinted with WATSON 540) at: rxlist.com/vicodin-hp-drug/patient-images-side-effects.htm NOTE: the dosage of the white pill is confirmed to be the same as the blue pill (500mgs of Acetaminophen + 10mgs of Hydrocodone). Manufacturer: Watson Laboratories, Inc. Although the way a pill looks is entirely up to the whit and whim of the company making it, it would definite...
