If a person takes 25 hydrocodone apap 5-500 tablets at once will this just make them really sick or can it possibly be fatal? ## If a person took this many vicodins at one time what would happen to them? ## Taking too much of a potent narcotic painkiller such as Hydrocodone APAP (brand Vicodin) can certainly be fatal. If somebody does this it is imperative to call 911 immediately. ## Yes, Rick is correct. Even if they don't die, they can cause themselves serious organ damage and health issues. ## i took 42 Skelaxin in one night just fell asleep n woke up the next morning with nothing wrong this WAS a suicide attempt but i guess im just that unlucky ## About the 25 pills at a time. If not any idea on where I could go with out of state identification? ## Unfortunately, many people are having problems in Florida, both getting prescriptions and getting them filled, as you can see in our ongoing thread here: It is also getting increasingly difficult to get prescriptions for any controlled substance filled if you have an ID from a different state. Can you post back with what state you're in? This may help people be able to provide you more advice and suggestions. ## Maryland ## since the new law in july 2012 has anyone still been able to fill oxycodone scripts in jacksonville fl ## The state of Florida no longer takes out of state IDs. That was the reason why people like me and a f...

I need to know if percocet will be out of my system by tomorrow morning i have only taken 7 percocets within the last two days but have been drinking water and cranberry juice plus taking cranberry pills. I have to take drug test for pain management @8 a.m. in morning. Please i need answers. ## Hi louise, hope you're doing well. Hmmm ... well, the half life for percocet tops out at around 4 hours, so by the time your body has gone through all of it you can be looking at around 32 hours or so. I hope this helps - how did it go for you? Wish I had come across this sooner I could have replied earlier on. You may also find this discussion to be helpful too: Percocet Half Life. What are these pills? Found 18 in my recently deceased night stand ## Hello, Jackie! How are you? I'm sorry for your loss. These are listed by the FDA as being a generic or store brand of Tylenol. They note them as containing 325mgs of Acetaminophen, which is most commonly used to treat pain and fever. Its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness and headache. Is there anything else I can help with?

Is there a danger to kidneys if I have the patch? I only have one kidney....lost because of a kidney stone. ## Hello, Linda! How are you? The kidneys are partially responsible for removing Fentanyl from the body, so it may actually affect you more than it would people with 2 kidneys and linger in your body longer than usual. But generally, when it comes to damage from medications, it is the liver that is of the most concern, especially with Acetaminophen. Has your doctor said it is safe for you to use these medications? The FDA classifies Fentanyl as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

i used to take 2 tramadol a day 50 mg. now my doctor has me on sertraline 100 mg a day, ativan, 1 mg 2x a day, can i take a tramadol for pain, i've took it with sertraline before, no effects, i have fibromyalgia and i need something for pain. ## Hello, Yellowrose! How are you? It is best not take the Tramadol along with the Sertraline, unless your doctor approves. Both of them can increase the levels of serotonin in your body, which could cause serotonin syndrome and that has, in some cases, been fatal. The FDA classifies Tramadol as an opioid, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Sertraline is classified as an SSRI antidepressant and its typical side effects may possibly include na...

This treatment works very well for me and i trying many different meds and therapeutic treatments and i would not want to mess with it. Will Neurologist perscribe this type of medication for someone with will be on it indefinitely? ## Hello, Michael! How are you? It depends on the neurologist, though in most cases, you'll be sent to a pain management specialist to prescribe and monitor your medications. The FDA classifies these as narcotic analgesics, so they have the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Are there any other questions or concerns?

I've been taking the light pink or orange generic Norco now they gave me this M366 smaller white pill. Every time I take it I get nauseated. Why? They should be the same....but something is making me nauseated. I've called my pharmacist and they say it should be the same. Has anyone got any ideas? I'm taking it just like I did the other one. ## Hello, Leah! How are you? I'm sorry about the problem that you're having. Generic medications are allowed to differ from the name brand by as much as plus or minus 20% of the active ingredients, as set forth by the Hatch-Waxman Act of 1984 and they don't have to measure against each other, so there's a chance that this new one is a bit stronger, which could explain the nausea. The FDA classifies this medication as a na...

If the 104 is imprinted below the scored line on a white round pill is this still a percocet? I thought the scored line on a white round pill is above on a percocet. i would like to find out how i could see a picture of this pill. ## the name of the pill is oxymorphone. opana. it suppose to be shaped like a stop sign and yellow ## I would like to find out what an opana looks like. I found a pill and not sure if thats what it is or not ## There are a number of different appearances of Opana. The extended release ones are shaped like a stop sign with a number inscribed on them indicating the dosage in milligrams. For example, a yellow Opana with the number 40 on it is the 40 mg dose, green with 20 on it is the 20 mg dose, etc. There are also normal release doses in 5 or 10 mg. The 5 mg dose is a blue round pill with E612 over 5, and the 10 mg dose is a reddish-pink round pill with E613 over 10. I hope this helps. If you can post back with the specific...

What are the side effects from mixing hydrocodone acetaminophen 5 325 with oxycodone acetaminophen 5 325? ## I have mixed both but not taken at the same time a few hrs later I may take one and I have had no side effects although I have been on both medications for years so my system maybe used to it. ## It is virtually doubling up on the same medication, so you really should stick with one or the other. Mixing them creates a much easier risk of overdosing, either on the narcotics or the Acetaminophen. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Has your doctor prescribed them both? ## What is it exactly aectehicmine codine syrup what is it for

I take 1 OxyCod/acetaminophen 7.5-325 mg tab would 1.5 tab hurt I still feel some pain knee surgery. ## Hello, Ken! How are you? Yes, they both contain Acetaminophen and Oxycodone, Endocet is just a brand name for it. It would be best not to raise your dosage, unless your doctor approves. Have you consulted them, yet? The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

What else is in this Acetaminophen 500mg long skinny pill with the number 707 on it? It carries a National Drug Code of 5111148978. ## Hello, TGee! How are you? If it doesn't list anything else and only says Acetaminophen 500mgs, then that is most likely all that it contains. However, I'm not finding anything listed under this imprint, or this NDC code. Can you please double check them and post back? The FDA classifies Acetaminophen as an analgesic and its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness and headache.

The pink spots is/are the opiates. The pink is the refined opium (plain & simple truth)!! Raw opium sap or better known as latex is red and turns to a very dark red to black in the presence of oxygen... ## I'm sorry, but that isn't true. They are just a coloring agent that the manufacturer chose to use to distinguish their pills from the others on the market. The FDA classifies this mediation as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. There is no actual opium in this medication, refined or otherwise. Is there anything I can help with?

I'm prescribed 120 tablets of oxycodone every month for chronic pain. I just got a full knee replacement. He then wrote me 180 pills for this month. Is that legal? ## Hello, Leonard! How are you? Yes, they can prescribe more under certain circumstances and its perfectly legal. Generally, they just prescribe more for a short period of time and not as an ongoing thing. The FDA classifies this medication as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. I was taking OxyContin 80 mg twice a day it is now no longer on my formulary the doctor switched from oxy to morphine extended release morphine extended release is the dark blue oblong pill generic version . This morphine generic does not work nearly as good as the oxy.. Is there other generics that are better than the current one that I'm taking? ## Hello, Donald! How are you? I'm very sorry that you're in pain. What are the markings on the Morphine tablet that you're taking? Do you know what the dosage is? Morphine is weaker than Oxycodone, so you'd actually need take 120mgs of it to be equivalent to each 80mgs of Oxycontin that you were taking. Thus, I'm concerned that you may not be on the correct dose. The FDA classifies this as a narcotic analgesic, so it h...

I have received these pills on 11/5/2014, and was wondering if the remaining pills are safe to take? ## Hello, BigAl! How are you? If they're in a pharmacy bottle, then the expiration date would be one year from when they were dispensed to you. So, if you received them from your pharmacy on 11/05/2014 then they are good until 11/04/2015. However, only your doctor can say if they are safe for you to take. The FDA classifies this medication as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
