Why does this pill have a sweet taste to.it ## One of the inactive ingredients in it is lactose. Some manufacturers use sweetener in their tablets to try to help reduce how awful they taste, when taking them. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?

my mother had a bypass which went well, she is now in a care facility due to a severe bed sore due to a hospital stay. they have had her in bed and druged up for 5 months now. we have switched facilities and doctors. the sores are getting better now but she is on the pain patch fentanyl now and seems out of her mind. dilaudid just keeps her knocked out if used to much. we had her off morphine since it was doing the same as this fentanyl. it is so hard getting a doctor that will listen! they seem like they just want to drug people and let them die instead of getting them well. what medicine will work for someone with severe arthritis pain due to no movement. dilaudid has been the only thing we have seen that doesn't make her crazy and help a little with the pain. is there anything el...

I have a pill that has a P symbol on one side with the number 25 on the other side. I found it in my sons room, and I would really like to know if I should be worried? I haven't said anything to him, and I won't until I find out. ## it is a narcotic. It is either oxycontin or dilata. You should have a talk with him because both of those are very addictive and could lead to a lot of problems. ## I was prescribed these for awhile. They are 10mg oxycodone and they were by far the best pain med I ever had. They arent the villian people believe them to be. I dont know if oxycotin is the same or if these are just the generic brand for oxycotin. But they stop pain by dulling the inhibitors in your brain that allow your body feel or believe in pain kinda. Pain you didnt even know you ha...

I was on morphine sulfate (both immediate and extended release) for several years. It helped relieve some of my back pain and I didn't have any trouble getting prescriptions for it in MICHIGAN. Moving to Florida last winter, I gave up trying to get Morphine Sulfate. It was possible but difficult to get it I guess But I gave up. An Orthopedic doctor put me on Gabapentin and it has lowered my back pain a lot. I'm on 600mg 3 times a day. I've heard that Gabapentin can have some pretty rough side effects (like swollen face) but so far I haven't had any. My depressed wife is also on Gabapentin (100mg 3 times a day) to calm some extreme body shaking and it has worked very well with no side effects so far. ## Hello, Robert! 1pill-2x daily 30mg ms contin & 4-10mg oxycodon is that better than 1new oc (op)30mg 2x daily &4-10mg oxycodone what is better ## The Oxycodone in the Oxycontin is stronger than the Morphine that's in MS Contin, by one and a half times, so it generally requires a lower dosage to achieve the same analgesic effect. Learn more Oxycontin details here. However, what's really of relevance here is discovering what works best for you.
