Why does this pill have a sweet taste to.it

One of the inactive ingredients in it is lactose. Some manufacturers use sweetener in their tablets to try to help reduce how awful they taste, when taking them.

The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
