I have been on lortabs for about 10 years,i am going to try an just get off them cold turkey but i have been priscribed 10mg.of methadone to take 1 at night,my question is why cant i stop the lortab an then like day 2 of withdraw take a methadone an then maybe 1 or 2 more times during that week.I havent taken the methadone yet and i dont want to take it ,only a couple times to try an help with the tab withdraws,CAN THIS WORK? ## I understand your concern, because the Methadone itself can be highly addictive, so you don't want to just end up trading one medication for another. I have tapered off 100mcg plus 100 mg Kapanol plus Ordine. I got down to about 7mg morphine a day but the pain got so bad I had to go back on 20 mg Kapanol / day. Does any one know of an alternative way of relieving pain without opiates and drugs please? I have started investigating neuroplasticity and pain and have asked my GP about intrathecal pumps which deliver pain medication directly into the damaged area of the spine. I went to the Emergency Room last Saturday on 12/122015. I could not take the pain. I got 2 Vicodin at the Emergency Room. The doctor sent me home with 2 prescriptions. The Prescriptions were for Oxycodone. I had a reaction to it. I think they were Percocet. I became very itchy. I called the ER and told a nurse what happened. She told me to come back. I was too tired and never went back. Now it is Christmas and I wish that I did go back. Is Oxycodone the same as Percocet? I think that I had a bad reaction to Percocet about 10+ years ago. Hi I have been taking Tramadol for about 2 years now 100mg twice a day and I've just figured it out today that this is the cause of my hair loss I've always had thick hair and it has been coming out after washing my hair after brushing my hair or even running my fingers through my hair, mostly not much of my hair is left at the front wear I have a fringe and on the top of my head also the rest is so thin it's not funny. Please let me know the gel brands for fent 25 patches. I always used PAR and now I guess they are obsolete. I'm in northern virginia and I hate the foil backed ones as they are like gum when they get wet and then a ball of gook. I could handle the little tiny ones that are non gel but I they too aren't very sticky once they get wet. The gel ones, I can take off when I shower and stick them back on their plastic and re-stick. I wear them on my hip wear my underwear elastic is and worse case scenerio, I put a bandaid over it if the sticky isn't very sticky. I've been getting QUALITEST in Roxy 30 mg. that's Dark Blue with a V on one side & num. on other side. The pharmacy would make their own Brand Label & put on your bottle, unless they gave you the Original bottle that the meds were delivered in like Qualitest. I asked Pharmacy 2months ago why wasn't the name of brand of medicine not on our bottles. So after that I noticed they'd Type out the label to stick on meds. I have debilitating migraines and was on pain meds for years. Since moving to Ohio I have not been able to find one. Can anyone pls help? ## Most new drs want a copy of your medical records from your previous drs. There are no guarantees that a new dr will prescribe you the same pain meds that your previous dr was with your medical records. There is less chance that they will without them. They don't give pain meds to treat migraines like they use to. They understand migraines better now and have other meds that often work better than traditional pain meds. If you have insurance, call your insurance company and ask them what Pain Management Drs in your area take your insurance. Some Pain Managements drs require a referral from a pcp or another dr.

Got a round peach colored pill with the numbers 223 on it. What is it!? I was told it was a vicodin 10 or hydrocodone. BUT when I googled it, It came up lithium ## Hi Tammy, I'm not sure who told you this was Vicodin, but it has become apparent to me that this is confirmed to be a 300mg Lithium carbonate ER tablet; manufactured by Glenmark. I'm guessing you didn't get these from a real pharmacy? I could honestly never put my trust into the hands of people trying to make a buck on the street... Hi. I took Hydromorphone 4mg 4 times a day for 11 years, but doc retired and pain management insists on extended release. Oxycontin ER caused my BP to spike high then return to normal in 4 hours..unacceptable. Hydromorphone ER is doing the same thing. I've got a peach color pill its round has 271 and half moon is it morphine? ## Hi G, Based on my research, Actavis makes a 30mg Morphine sulfate ER tablet that is depicted as being round and "yellow", marked with 271 and a half moon logo. Seeing that yours is peach colored and not yellow, I'd question its legitimacy right off the bat - unless you had got it filled at a licensed pharmacy? percocet30mg, blue round pill, mbox logo imprint ## There is no 30mg Percocet on the market, the formulations that contain the mix of Acetaminophen with Oxycodone are only available in a maximum dosage of 10mgs of Oxycodone with 650mgs of Acetaminophen. Does it have the marking M 30 on it? If so, then what you have is just Oxycodone, by itself, in a regular release formulation, which is the generic for Roxicodone.
