What are the differences between the brand name Exalgo (12 mg extended release) by Mallinckrodt and Mallinckrodt's generic formula of Exalgo? My doctor indicated generics, in general, can be "different" from brand name by as much as 30%. What is too much?I take 10/325 3 time a day ## You should always follow your doctor's dosing instructions. The FDA warns that per dose in any 8 hour period, you should not exceed 1,000mgs of Acetaminophen and no more than 3,000mgs of it in a 24 hour period. Taking too much of it could result in liver damage, liver failure and overdose toxicity, which may be fatal. I have been taking prescription norco ever since it changed from lortab. 8 years at 7.5 /325. I truly think the norco does not help as well. I am going through withdrawels as I overtook for 5 days. I still have a script that I can fill in 5 more days. But am having a hard time eating, sleeping, nausea and vomiting, leg cramps, crazy thoughts. If I were not a caretaker for my husband who is on home hemodialysis, which I do, I could just crawl in bed and die. But that is not an option for me. Any thoughts anyone? I have been managing pain for quite some time, from 2 broken hips and a shattered heel. I've always been on hydro 10-300. I looked at my new scrip and it said "hydro 10-325". My husband was just told by his doctors office that there is a new process for getting his patches. They are telling him that he can no longer pick up the triplicate form, but they have to send it to the pharmacy via ups. The pharmacy is a quarter mile away, this seems rather extreme. Have you talked with your doctor about developing a tapering plan/schedule in order to gradually wean you off the Hydrocodone? Is R333 Percocet 7.5/325? My last prescription for Percocet 7.5/325 said R332 and was flatter than the R333. ## Hi E J, There actually aren't any pills marked "R333" that fit your description. I think you may have meant to say "A 333" which is a white oblong pill containing 10mgs of oxycodone + 325mgs of acetaminophen (generic for Percocet). "A 332" fits the same physical description as the previous pill, aside from being slightly flatter due to having a smaller dosage of oxycodone (7.5 mg) instead of the 10mg in A333.
