This is all about our government trying to control our life. We have no freedom anymore. We can't even have freedom of Pain. It is all crap. The thing with the National Pill registry, trying to get people on health care, that's all a way to monitor where you go to the Doctor what meds you get, it's all a plan...WATSON was not discontinued. ## Complaining to the FDA about weak percocets from activas is a joke.its the FDA thats trying to take away our pain meds. Boycott all Activas products and go...
I have back pain and my limbs get easily numb. So I went to a doctor who prescribed me trinerve lc. Is it a correct prescription? I am getting slight blood in my nose due to rupture maybe but I noticed this only after I started the course of trinerve lc. Does it have any side effects? ## The only actual medication contained in Trinerve is Pregabalin, which is an anticonvulsant that's also been proven to help with certain types of nerve pain. Learn more Pregabalin details here. The rest of the active ingredients are just nutritional supplements, a vitamin V complex. However, some B vitamins may cause some blood thinning, which could be causing your nasal problem. Have you talked to your doctor about it, yet? ## I have feet burning from last around 7 months can I take trinerve lc
What are the differences between the brand name Exalgo (12 mg extended release) by Mallinckrodt and Mallinckrodt's generic formula of Exalgo? My doctor indicated generics, in general, can be "different" from brand name by as much as 30%. Since Mallinckrodt manufacturers both the brand name Exalgo and its generic, I am hoping they are the same. My insurance company wants to cut costs. Does anyone know what the differences are between the two? Thank you in advance! ## Hello, Kate! How are you? Under the Hatch-Waxman Act of 1984, the allowable difference is actually plus or minus 20% of the active ingredient, not 30. As to the differences, if any, unfortunately, I don't have any information on that, as companies aren't require to note them. There is also more than one m...
I'm on warfarin, so I can't take ibuprofen. My gout is extremely painful, is hydrocodone-acetaminophen good for gout? ## Hello, Chayong! How are you? You should take it, unless your doctor has specifically told you to do so, because Acetaminophen can increased the effect of the Warfarin, which could increase your risk of dangerous bleeding. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?
is there a round yellow generic for perocet 10mg ## Hello, Debie! How are you? Are there markings on the tablet in question? That is what would enable it to be identified. Can you please post back and clarify? And are you asking about Percocet, which contains Acetaminophen and Oxycodone, or just a tablet containing Oxycodone? The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
What is too much?I take 10/325 3 time a day ## You should always follow your doctor's dosing instructions. The FDA warns that per dose in any 8 hour period, you should not exceed 1,000mgs of Acetaminophen and no more than 3,000mgs of it in a 24 hour period. Taking too much of it could result in liver damage, liver failure and overdose toxicity, which may be fatal. This medication also carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?
What pharmacy would carry meloncrof oxycodone? ## Hello, Larry! How are you? Did you mean Mallinckrodt? The FDA classifies Oxycodone as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. I'm sorry, but there is no database that lists which pharmacy carries a medication from any given manufacturer. The only thing you can do is ask them, when you go to get your prescription filled.
I have been taking prescription norco ever since it changed from lortab. 8 years at 7.5 /325. I truly think the norco does not help as well. I am going through withdrawels as I overtook for 5 days. I still have a script that I can fill in 5 more days. But am having a hard time eating, sleeping, nausea and vomiting, leg cramps, crazy thoughts. If I were not a caretaker for my husband who is on home hemodialysis, which I do, I could just crawl in bed and die. But that is not an option for me. Any thoughts anyone? Thanks ## If you've been on it for 8 years, it could be that your body had built up a tolerance to the medication and you may need a dosage adjustment or to try a different medication. Have you discussed it with your doctor? They should be able to help you figure this out and...
Have a bottle of 10/300 lortab I'm pretty sure it's 3 ounces how many tablets does that equal? ## Hello, Andy! How are you? I'm sorry, but without knowing the amount per ml, per teaspoon, or etc. I can't answer your question. Can you please post back and clarify? There should be a certain amount listed to take in order to get the 10/300mg dosage. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
I found a white oblong pill with M366 on one side, what is this? ## Hello, Kiki! How are you? Yes, this tablet is manufactured by Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 7.5mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?
I have been managing pain for quite some time, from 2 broken hips and a shattered heel. I've always been on hydro 10-300. I looked at my new scrip and it said "hydro 10-325". I was wondering if my physician switched me up to a higher dosage because I just sprained my wrist. I have been hurting and limping lately since the sprain.... Is the 10-325 stronger? ## Hello, Alb! How are you? The only difference in what you've listed is that the one has 25 more milligrams of Acetaminophen in it. The Acetaminophen helps the opiate to work better for some people. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else ...
Has anyone that takes Opana ER ONLY had a problem with Oxycodone showing up on urine drug testing? ## This is the post to my above question, The same happened to me... I've been on Opana ER since 3/2007, never worried about UDT, never had a problem. I moved to Central Florida, new DR said UDT showed no med then sent out, came back positive Oxymorphone 13,456ng/ml and positive for Oxycodone Opana.com and a Opana search on Wiki will confirm this. I hate this for everyone whose Doctors discharge without checking with the labs. Oxycodone metabolites should show positive with the Oxymorphone....hope this helps ## The Dr. said he called Quest before he came in to fire me! ## Thank you for your response Terry. I have looked where you suggested for the information and can't find where i...
My husband was just told by his doctors office that there is a new process for getting his patches. They are telling him that he can no longer pick up the triplicate form, but they have to send it to the pharmacy via ups. The pharmacy is a quarter mile away, this seems rather extreme. Anyone else have this issue?

I need a doctor in the spokane area that will prescribe pain meds. I am from Ca and have severe chronic back pain from degenerative disk disease and multiple disk herniations as well as scoliosis. Having a lot of trouble finding a doctor that will help me here. ## You will need to have a copy of your medical records from your previous dr or the dr new dr may offer to get them. Each dr has their own way of treating their patients. A new dr may or may not give you the same meds or the same dose that your previous dr did. Most dr will start new patients out on the mildest and lowest dose of pain meds and go from there. You will have to stick with a dr for a while to see how they may end up prescribing for you. What have the drs you seen told you about why they won't treat you ? ## They...

My wife has horrible tooth pain in the upper and lower right molars. She just took two ea 200 mg ibuprofen about 1 hr ago with no relief. Can she take 1 10 mg hydrocodone/325 mg apap now? ## No, the two anti-inflammatories, Acetaminophen and Ibuprofen should not be mixed, that is too high of an amount of them and it raises the risk of bleeding and other complications. Has she contacted a dentist? ## correction. Ibuprofen and acteminophen serve 2 distinctly differant objectives and are wholey compatible to be used with each other. In fact is quite often perscrbed together. Ask doctor for cor5rect dossages. ## acetaminophen (Tylenol) does NOT have anti-inflammatory properties. It is ONLY an analgesic(pain reliever) and an antipyretic (fever reducer ## I have a severe toothache. I've b...
HOW DO I BRAKE THE HYDROCODON PAIN MED. HABIT,I TAKE 4 10-350 MG EVERY DAY CARLO ## Hi Carlo, Sorry to hear about your situation. Have you talked with your doctor about developing a tapering plan/schedule in order to gradually wean you off the Hydrocodone? I realize it can't be stopped abruptly without experiencing withdrawals, so this is probably the safest approach (in my opinion). Although if you needed more help with the cravings, something like Suboxone may be beneficial as well? This medication is widely used for treating opioid dependence and there is honestly an overwhelming amount of support on this site from those who've had success with using Suboxone for such purposes. You can learn more about this drug on the page for Suboxone Details, but I'd also recommend bro...
Is R333 Percocet 7.5/325? My last prescription for Percocet 7.5/325 said R332 and was flatter than the R333. ## Hi E J, There actually aren't any pills marked "R333" that fit your description. I think you may have meant to say "A 333" which is a white oblong pill containing 10mgs of oxycodone + 325mgs of acetaminophen (generic for Percocet). "A 332" fits the same physical description as the previous pill, aside from being slightly flatter due to having a smaller dosage of oxycodone (7.5 mg) instead of the 10mg in A333. I hope this helps explain things! ## I had a heck of a time figuring this out. R333 is the generic for A333. The ones I am getting are still made by Actavis. Check with your pharmacist, because it was unclear if the R333 designation is a univer...
