I have been taking prescription norco ever since it changed from lortab. 8 years at 7.5 /325. I truly think the norco does not help as well. I am going through withdrawels as I overtook for 5 days. I still have a script that I can fill in 5 more days. But am having a hard time eating, sleeping, nausea and vomiting, leg cramps, crazy thoughts. If I were not a caretaker for my husband who is on home hemodialysis, which I do, I could just crawl in bed and die. But that is not an option for me. Any thoughts anyone? Thanks

If you've been on it for 8 years, it could be that your body had built up a tolerance to the medication and you may need a dosage adjustment or to try a different medication.

Have you discussed it with your doctor? They should be able to help you figure this out and discover a solution.

How many times a day do you take it?
