Is 50 hours enough time to test negative for hydrocodone? ## I feel like the doctors are lying to there patients because when you go to a psychiatrist to do a drug test it shows that you been taking your hydrocodone or oxycodone I just feel like the doctors are trying to get rid of the people that want these kind of medicine so they're lying to their patients... That's what's happening to me lately and I'm really really really pissed off......

i was prescribed sydol for pain relief. Pharmist gave me tramadol and I have had a bad reaction, very painful legs and arms and sore chest. I stopped immediately. ## I'm glad you stopped taking it. It is not the same as the medication you were prescribed. Why did he give you Tramadol instead? The U.S. FDA classifies it as an opiate, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Have you informed your doctor of what happened? Have you tried obtaining the correct medication?

My doctor put me on nucynta er 150 mg x2 daily for chronic pain and I'm not getting any pain relief. Does it take time to work? I've been on it for 3 weeks. ## Hello, Kurtfen! How are you? No, it is an opiate and should have some effect within about 15 to 20 minutes of taking it. However, it could be that it's just not the right medication to help you. The FDA classifies it as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Have you informed your doctor of the issue? You may need to try a different medication.

Oblong white pill with gpi a5 ## This tablet is manufactured by Amneal Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 500mgs of Acetaminophen, it is a store brand or generic for Tylenol. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness and headache. Is there anything else I can help with?

Just want to know incase the nhs decides I have to pay for it in the future ## Hello, Kj! How are you? I'm sorry, but this site doesn't prescribe nor sell any medication or products, so I don't have a price to quote for you. Have you tried asking your local pharmacist/chemist? This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. ## I am looking for some ORAMORPH Solution as I have a fused leg with metal pin in then I have 7 Over granulation ulcers and I feel like screeming with pain. I can't take anymore. Could you advise me please.

i found an oblong shaped pill on my entertainment center it has IP 500 on 1 side and nothing on the other.anyone have any idea what it is,i am hoping to identify it. ## No, I'm not finding a listing for a tablet with just IP 500 on it in our U.S. prescription drug resources. The IP logo is used by IntraPharm, but on their U.S. tablets there are usually other numbers, with the 500, or 250 and etc. to designate the dosage. Does anyone recognize this tablet? I'm wondering if its an over the counter product that just contains 500mgs of Acetaminophen and is a generic, or store brand of Tylenol. ## Naproxen 500 mg I take this all the time. That's why I knew what they were

I was prescribed Robitussin with Codeine for bronchospasms. This is the only medication that I took for a week before a urine drug screen that was sent out to a lab. I, however, tested positive for Oxycodone. Could this be a mistake? How can I dispute it? ## I take oxycodone 20 mlg. I ran out of my prescription and have a drug test next month. How do I pass and what to do

hi I been prescribe from my doctor 3202 watson pill for back pain a year ago and just went again to the pharmacy and they give me a 3604 pill they said it was the same dose but I feel like the 3202 pills was helping me more is there a difference between the 3202 and the 3604 ?? ## Hello, Greg! How are you? I'm sorry about the problem you're having. They are both the same medication in the same dosage, they've just been manufactured by different companies, Watson and Qualitest respectively. However, there can be differences between one generic to another, the Hatch-Waxman Act of 1984 does permit an allowable difference in the amount of the active ingredients, by as much as plus or minus 20%. This is done with generics to create market competition to help keep prices down. Thu...

I was just switched from hydrocodone/acetaminophen 10/325 (which I would take 1 1/2) to the 7.5/325 and I've noticed that about an hour after taking it I get a really bad headache and stomach ache. This never happened when I would take the 10/325. I even tried taking one and a half so it's closer to 10 mgs and the headache is even worse. Does anyone know what is causing the headaches and stomach ache? ## Headaches can be a normal side effect of opiate medications, as reported by the FDA. You may also experience nausea, dizziness, constipation and dry mouth. You may be experience some withdrawal effects, since your dosage has been lowered and taking one and a half may throw things off even more. Have you consulted your doctor for a possible solution?

Hi, I've read these forums for years now and have never posted anything myself but I am in a panic. I have been taking 30 milligram oxycodone 4 times a day for 5 years. I had two major back surgery is and I'm not eligible for a third one due to scar tissue at the surgical site. Every month I swear to myself up and down that I will never run out of these pills again and every month I run out. Well this month it's been the worst I have been taking 180 milligrams that's 6 pills a day for the last 3 or 4 days my prescription runs out on the 24th of this month and I have 12 pills left. My main question is can I start weaning off of it from 180 milligrams down to one pill a day which is 30 milligrams or is that just too drastic of a cut. Also I'm seeing my doctor on Friday...

I was on 200mgs of oc and they changed the formula and all I did was stay sick from it. The Dr switched me to opana er and the insurance wont't pay for it so what do I do now ## Have you and your doctor discussed your possibly using Morphine? There is also a time released version of it, called MS Contin and it is available as a generic, so most insurances will cover it. It is also a narcotic, so the side effects would be similar and can include: nausea, drowsiness, dry mouth and dizziness. Learn more: ## have Md get prior op. its. a from his MA sends into them. if still does work get copy of their formula (which. is want they will cover.) oh, and ask if Md has any coupons which helps the costs. ## OP other side and 40 peach/ beige color small round pill

IS IT SAFE TO INGEST APAP/CODEINE300-30MGTAB AFTER TEN YEARS ON THE SHELF? ## They don't get dangerous, after the expiration, but they do start to lose effectiveness, so being that old, it is highly doubtful that they will work very well for pain. If they were in an original factory sealed bottle, they are usually good for about 3 years or so and in a pharmacy bottle, they are only good for a year, after you purchase them, because that is when they are exposed to heat and light. Storage can also have an effect, if they have been kept somewhere warm and moist, then they will degrade much faster. Are there any other questions? ## APAP/CODEINE 120-12 Prescribed on 1-30-08 liquid, to help to sleep . Would this be any good? ## I found a prescription of mine of Acetaminophen 300mg/Codeine...

I have to go to the pain clinic next week and not sure if they are going to drug test me or not. They have been messing around with my meds and of course instead of starting at the ceiling they start at the floor. I was on morphine 30 twice a day, my insurance stopped paying for that. They tried all kinds of other things that bothered my stomach but now we are on oxycontin 10mg which is not strong enough so i have had to substitute until i go back and i do not want to lose my doctor. He is very understanding. I'm also on oxycodone 15mg for break thru so if i was to take a morphine what will it show up as if they did send it to the lab? ## Yes the morphine will show up depending on the drug test they do. Some doctor who test in house may just look to see if you are postive for opiate...

I am currently prescribed fentanyl 25mcg and hydromorphone 4mg aka dilaudid. Ever since I was switched to dilaudid I have been having severe BT pain and some not so good side effects like bladder issues that I informed my PCP and after seeing them 4 times they were telling me I might have to see a Urologist...smh here it's a side effect of the hydromorphone... anyways I was wondering if anyone knew the difference between oxy ir or morphine ir to replace the dilaudid and what mg I should be switched to. ## Hello, Jess! How are you? I'm sorry that you're in pain. The only Oxy IR dosage that is available is a 5mg capsule, there others are all either regular release or the extended release. This medications contains the active ingredient Oxycodone and you'd need 10.67mgs of ...

What's the difference between the blue 3omg from the white pill? ## White has more acetaminophen, also known as Tylenol. There's more powder and this is why blues are preferred. ## Hello, Annie! How are you? This is a generic medication, so it is normal for it to be manufactured by several companies, because it creates market competition to try to keep prices down. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation and dry mouth. What are the markings on both tablets?

Can I take norco 5-325 then 1 325 tylenol 5 hours later ## Hello, Pinky! How are you? You can do that, if it's okay with your doctor. You just have to be careful not to exceed 1,000mgs of the Tylenol/Acetaminophen in any 8 hour period and no more than 3,000mgs in any 24 hour period. The FDA classifies Norco as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Hi, I have lower back pain that generates a feeling behind my knee caps like I need to stretch them. I have been on Codeine 60 MG for several years. My doctor recently prescribed Tramadol. Is it more effective for the pain I have or is my doctor trying to get me off Codeine being it is a narcotic? I had a heart attack two years ago and I am borderline Diabetic, is the Tramadol safe for me? ## Hello, Mark! How are you? Tramadol is actually stronger than Codeine, but known to cause less sedation, constipation and respiratory depression. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. And as long as the prescribing doctor is aware of your medical conditions, it should be...

My Dr. put me on tramadol 50mg 2 every 6hours.I was on codeine #3 but the VA pharmacy ran out and wont have them till Feb. My question is will I have any bad affects switching from codeine #3 to tramadol 50 mg thanks for your help. ## Hello, Mark! How are you? It only takes 45mgs of the Tramadol to equal each 30mgs of Codeine that you were taking, so you may actually get better pain relief from taking 100mgs of it. And the side effects should be about the same, the FDA classifies this medication as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
