Red & yellow round pill imprinted with BP 500 on yellow side. Is it generic tylenol? Please tell me. ## Hello, Joan! How are you? Yes, you are correct, it contains 500mgs of Acetaminophen. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness and headache. Is there anything else I can help with?

My husband was prescribed oxycodone and morphine sulfate for daily use after an accident that resulted in incomplete quadriplegia. Over the course of four months, the EMT's were here six times to address opiate overdose. After more strenuous physical therapy sessions, he would become completely gray in pallor and we could not wake him up. Twice he stopped breathing prior to help arriving. I administered CPR until their arrival, at which time they would inj. narcan, and boom! He's back. The first episode resulted in my totally monitoring his medication, documenting dose/times in a prescription diary and posting current status of his medications on a white board. He was not even taking two-thirds of what he was prescribed, because it was too strong, and we had yet to adjust his do...

What type of percocet is a white round tablet with 44 on the top and 148 on the bottom? I've looked and got so many results but not sure which one to go with. ## This is not Percocet or any type of prescription medication. This is an over the counter product that is sold under the name Genapap Extra Strength, it is listed as containing 500mgs of Acetaminophen, it is a generic or store brand of Extra Strength Tylenol. The FDA lists its typical side effects as including nausea, dizziness and headache. Is there anything else I can help with?

I am on several different medications and never had an issue. Always came back clean. I recently had several severe asthma attacks so my PCP prescribed Proair inhaler, spirivia respimat, and Loratadine 10mg. My urine screen came back positive for Morphine! I am very confused and told the doctor that the only difference is what is written down. He then told me my count was 1670. I do not have anything to show as an example for the 100 acceptable count; the rest of the readings were 0,0,0,0,0, down the page. He said most patients have examples they can show but I do not, I told him because I am clean! I will be fighting this because the doctor told me if come up again he will refuse to treat me and saying I need my allergy medication, I will come up positive again? WHAT for something I di...

white oblong pill with 176 on one side, nothing on the other side but the vertical half line. ## This tablet contains 10mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen, a generic for Vicodin. This is a narcotic pain reliever. Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. You can read more here: Did you have any other questions? ## How long will this tablet be in my system? I ran out of my usual Percocet but found one with 176 on it. I think it's either a norco or a lorcet.

Walgreens as of last week is NOT taking ANY kind of discount card or their own discount card to cover this medication. It went from $107.00 to 168.00$. What the heck is going on. Its either they are telling everyone how much you can be perscribed or killing us with the prices. I couldn't get my ER medicine due to the increase!!!! Its never ending.I know they got in trouble in Fla. Owing 80 million dollars in fines, so we are now paying for their mistakes, again!!!!! ## Im talking about Oxycodone 30mgs IR ## Hello, Sunny! How are you? I'm very sorry that you were unable to afford your medication. Did you try any other pharmacies? None of them are obligated to accept any of the discount cards, though it would certainly help if they were. Learn more Oxycodone details here. What sta...

Hello, my husband is taking 5 Percocet 10/325 in 6 hours. I'm afraid it is going to kill him. He has abused them also. It worries me and he fusses with me when I confront him about it. Should I be concerned? ## Yes, you have a valid reason to be concerned. Not only is that a high amount of Oxycodone to take, but the Acetaminophen in them is an even bigger concern. The limit should be no more than 1,000mgs every 8 hours and no more than 3,000mgs in any 24 hour period, anything over that risks overdose toxicity, which may be fatal! It can cause liver damage, or failure, which could result in death, as reported by the NIH. If he is taking that many at once, he needs help and his doctor should be informed of the situation. How often does he take that many?

Went in for a regular pain management appt and was told that my last urine drug screen showed I was misusing my meds. Test gave a result of over 200 when its supposed to be between 2 & 4. Ideas?? ## It's been as long as I recall that my urine tests that are given in the doctor's office, are showing NO FENTANYL. Now, I'm the bad guy. Not the woman in town selling the patches and bringing fake patches back to her pharmacy in the new PATCH-4-PATCH program they have set up in North Bay Ontario. No, she's being extremely unreasonable in my case considering the circumstances. Now, I ran out of Fentanyl this Monday...it's Friday night. There was no new prescription faxed in yet...after they told me they faxed it in...it didn't show up the next day either...after the...

is neugaba useful in cervical pain too? ## Hello, Arvind! How are you? It really depends on what is causing the pain. This medication contains the active ingredient Pregabalin and it is generally only helpful at preventing seizures, some mood disorders and nerve pain. Thus, if the pain is due to some other cause, it will not help. The U.S. FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, mood swings and weight gain. Has your doctor told you to take it?

Fentanyl will show up on certain Immunoassays - not strips but a sent out test (new clinically approved immunoassay on the market) or most frequently confirmed by GC–MS or LC–MS/MS because there are cross reactive analytes. It all depends on WHAT methodology they are using and what EXPENSE they are willing to go through to detect this drug. If you end up dead or overdosed, you will probably get it now that heroin and oxycodone are being stepped on by Fentanyl. Dangerous game to be playing, the older you get, the more you use over a short time period, mixing etc, will probably result in an ER/morgue trip eventually. Know what you are taking. Know your limits. ## Do any panels test for fetanyl? and are the test that DO test for fetanyl expensive? I'm wondering if a state p...

I got a prescription for hydrocodone 5/325 o june 6. I got home n misplaced it and found it today. Can i still get it filled? ## Hello, Sandra! How are you? It's been less than a month since it was written, so you should still be able to, but it would be best to double check with your pharmacy to be sure. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?

I just started going to pain management a month ago. My next appt is on the 26th. Today I had to take a couple of extra norcos because I can't get in to see my chiropractor and am hurting so much that my normal dose didn't get me through the night. Will it show up that I took extras in my urine test in 3 days?

Which Is Stronger 4839 V Or 5 500 Vicodin? I would like my dr to give me something stronger but not as toxic on my liver ## Well, the 5/500 Vicodin will actually be completely disappearing soon. The FDA has requested that all such combination narcotic medications be changed to only contain a maximum of 325mgs of the Acetaminophen, due to the danger of liver toxicity and overdose toxicity. Some manufacturers have already begun to implement the change and they are all expected to have it completely by January of 2014. Thus, starting one of them now is likely not a good idea, anyway. So, going by the strength of the narcotics and 325mgs of Acetaminophen, the Percocet tablet (4839 V) is stronger than the Vicodin. Learn more Percocet details here. Though they both have the potential to be ha...

I took lortab and extra acetaminophen for years, then in 2012 found myself with an ulcer in my stomach. Wound up having over half my tummy removed! I am now on norco 7.5/325, but am having other side effects. ??? ## What side effects are you experiencing? The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. There is a new formulation of Hydrocodone available, without the Acetaminophen. My doctor has me on 130 milligrams a day and I want off of it all. I'm down to about 90 to 100 milligrams now. I get violently sick otherwise. ## I took almost a hole sub this early early morning and then this afternoon I have taken 4 15 milligrams of morphine and I am fine..no withdrawls and with that no pain..thank god, from these horror stories I just read.
