False Positive For Morphine - Could Loratadine 10mg Be Why?
UpdatedI am on several different medications and never had an issue. Always came back clean. I recently had several severe asthma attacks so my PCP prescribed Proair inhaler, spirivia respimat, and Loratadine 10mg. My urine screen came back positive for Morphine! I am very confused and told the doctor that the only difference is what is written down. He then told me my count was 1670. I do not have anything to show as an example for the 100 acceptable count; the rest of the readings were 0,0,0,0,0, down the page. He said most patients have examples they can show but I do not, I told him because I am clean! I will be fighting this because the doctor told me if come up again he will refuse to treat me and saying I need my allergy medication, I will come up positive again? WHAT for something I did not do? This is getting out of control, the way the government has taken over our rights to privacy, a doctor, and treatment. Now lining up an independent hair or blood test to prove morphine is not in my body, then I will be arguing and proving them wrong. They do not seal the test in front of me and have me sign off on it.
