What is the best replacement drug for Lortab 10/500 mg? 20 year user through a pain management clinic ## Hello, John! How are you? Did you doctor offer you any alternative, now that these are no longer available? You can still get pills with Hydrocodone in them, but the Acetaminophen is only 325mgs. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. There's really no way to know what other medication may work well for you. What others have you tried? ## The doctors are COWARDS. They have forgotten their oath to "do no harm". They make me sick. I hope they all suffocate from pain. They are right up there with lawyers and used car salesmen.

Found this white pill with the marking "AP 500". Not APO or anything else!! Please help. Again "AP" on one side and "500" on the other. Thank you. ## I'm trying to figure out the same thing only this one has AP 500 on the same side. ## What pill is AP500? I found a bottle filled with these, but no name, and can't seem to find it anywhere. ## I don't know the answer but it's most likely something over the counter, or it could also be from outside the US. Right now I have a very painful stiff neck that's been troubling me for a week to date. Is this pill (imprinted s525) good for me to take to possibly relieve this pain? ## Hi Mike, The pill your describing imprinted with S525 is reportedly identified as Acetaminophen (500mg) + Diphenhydramine HCL (25mg). And just to confirm, this is a blue capsule-shaped pill with a National Drug Code of 51824-0017. Acetaminophen (otherwise known as Tylenol) may help a little bit, but Diphenhydramine is an antihistamine used for allergies, so it's pretty much useless for pain in my opinion. Have you considered making a doctor's appointment to obtain more effective treatment options? Kratom is something that helps me whenever I have a stiff neck and it's available OTC in most states. I have a lot of issues with my spine, and am constantly in pain if I'm not laying on my stomach. It's ruined my posture, and its ruining time I should be enjoying with my daughter. I have ordered twice from a site that sells tramadol or Ultram the brand name and it was very cheap less than $2.00 for a blister pack of ten. It was mailed from India and manufactured also in india this was some sort of non prescription web site but unfortunatly I lost the web address. I work away from home and find making an appt. with my GP hard. So my sciatica flared up and I filled my dihydrocodeine prescription from a proper reputable site - with a uk licensed GP and pharmacy who prescribed and dispensed it. They are unmarked pills - packaging says Bristol Laboratory. I feel they're not as effected as the ones I had been prescribed last year. Mallinckrodt still makes hydrocodone. Depending on lowest bidder, unless a drug is truly discontinued, that's who your pharmacy will stock. I am a tech and our pharmacy just changed to Mallinkrodt which I feel is an inferior product. ## What brand is the least troublesome ? Do you get many complaints from your opioid using customers ? I have been taking lyrica for some time now...it has been in capsule form. I went to a new pharmacy and now it is a little white pill......is it still lyrica. It is white with the number 10 on the back the front has a line in the middle ( like a line you would cut it in half with or something ) someone please tell me if it is lyrica before I have to start taking it. I heard that all the pharmacy replaced all the original oxycontin (OC) with this new formula that prevents anyone from crushing it. The new pills says OP on the one side instead of it saying OC. I've been using the 100mcg/hr of Fentanyl Patches and I've been using them for a long time. Hello. I'm 29, a mother of two with Crohn's disease, and a former soldier. Last thing we tried is a Morphine pump at 0.4998 a day and not even that is helping the pain. I don't know why my body just not reacting and life is been especially miserable. I found a pain management doctor in the other side of Virginia and even when I explain the morphine pump is not helping they blew me off. At this point my pcm is compassionate enough to help me out with steroids and other stuff for pain but I feel like I'm broken or something. Now I live in Richmond, VA and I would like to find a doctor that can understand my pain and just help me to have a better lifetime. I drink more or less 40 stilpanes per day. Do I need help or can I qui on my own? ## Stilpane contains 320mgs of Paracetamol, 8mgs of Codeine, 32mgs of Caffeine and 150mgs of Meprobamate and if you have been taking that many, then you may be i serious medical danger and you should see a doctor immediately. Aside from the addiction factor, the Paracetamol can be toxic is taken in amounts over 4gramgs (4,000mgs) in a day and if you are taking 40 of them, then that is 12,800mgs, or 12.8grams, which is way past the toxic level. You may have already caused permanent damage to your liver and other vital organs and need to seek medical attention.
