As well as hydrocodone 7.5-325? ## No, while Acetaminophen and Ibuprofen can augment how well an opiate works for some people, it is not going to make it equivalent to Hydrocodone. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. It would also be best not to take anything else, without your doctor's approval. Are they aware that you are taking two tablets?
Can this be detected in a urine test? I am in pain management. This is something I was prescribed by a previous Dr a few years ago. I don't have the bottle it came in. I had them in a weekend bag I came across. I dont want this to cause a problem with my pain management Dr. and my script. I got 2 two days for my monthly visit.
UpdatedI've been taking this for 4 days by IV 1xdaily. 1 more day to go then I start oral for 5 days. Treatment for inflamed kidney. The problem I have is severe headache all the time. Tylenol doesn't help. Starts in my neck behind my left ear it's really tender to touch. Should I maybe talk about an alternative drug? ## Hello, Mel! How are you doing? Has there been any change? That can be a normal side effect of this medication, as reported by the FDA, along with nausea, dizziness, non-allergic skin rash, and diarrhea. These side effects will be more prominent with the stronger IV doses, things should improve once you're taking the lower oral doses, though it may take a week, or so, for things to change. The tenderness behind you ear may be a swollen gland, due to your body fi...

Though this time frame can vary, depending on your metabolism, overall health, other medications and various other factors. Where you may run into a problem, however, is if you don't have the proper levels of it in your body. Many of thes...
What to do for severe stomach upset from prednizone 10mg. Just started it4days ago I also am taking hydrocodone 5 325 ## Hello, Cathy! How are you? Have you tried taking it with food? That can sometimes help minimize the nausea, according to the NIH. Other side effects may include dizziness, headache, acne, and insomnia. If it doesn't help, you may need to ask your doctor about what you can take to help with it. How long will you be taking it? ## Almost a week. Have epstein barr and a real hard time of it today
i am 32 years old and have suffered from lower back pain approx 5 to 6 years. i do belive it is mainly from my job as a drywall hanger for the past 16 yrs. i have been taking about 3 or 4 10 mg percocets a day but can no longer afford to buy them, i am a single dad with a 7 and 3 yr old and money is tight. without the percocet i cant sleep and its hard to work at my job. does anyone have any sugesstions for a dr in the st.louis area that will listen to me rather than automaticaly assume i am a drug adict just because i have worked to take care of my family and understand i have a bad back because of it ## Well, regardless of what doctor you use, even if you find a better one, it is not going to solve the problem of paying for the medication. Unfortunately, since narcotics are controlled...
On 29/07/2016 I had my period which lasted for about seven days, after few days I started seeing watery blood again which I complained to the doctor and was diagnosed with an infection. He then prescribed cifloxacin, metronidazole, paracetamol and vitamin C, which I used but skipped like 3 doses of metronidazole, the light blood flow stopped almost as I started the medication and for a week after which I started seeing blood again on 22/08/2016, this time was heavy and it clotted. I thought it was because I didn't finish the dose of metronidazole, so I started it all over for 5 days but later discovered it was my period. Though heavy unlike the ones I had in the past, it stopped on the 7th to 8th day. On 19/09/2016 I had unprotected intercourse, though he didn't release inside m...
Updated in ParacetamolMy tramadol got wet turd mushy I let them dry now it's power will it still work for pain relief ## Hello, Larry! How are you? It would likely be best to just dispose of them. Having gotten wet enough to turn to mush, it is highly likely that some of the potency to them was lost, plus if they are now a powder, you won't know how much to safely take. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. How did they end up getting wet?
TussiCap is a brand new medication in capsule form. It has 10 mg of Hydrocodone and 8 mg of a drug I'm not familiar with. The drug without inurance in $600.00!!!!! I got it for 25 bucks ## Wow! I'm very glad that the coupon saved you so much money, that's a crazy price. The other ingredient is the antihistamine Chlorpheniramine. The FDA lists the possible side effects to this medication as possibly including nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, drowsiness and constipation. It also carries the risk of being habit forming. Is there anything I can help with? ## I have insurance and my doctor wrote me a prescription for Tussi caps. I also gave the pharmacist a discount card so my co-pay would be $25. When I went to pick it up she told me it would be $2000 for 20 pills. So therefore I c...
What is the pill marked I9 on one side and blank with not divided on the other side, is this any form of hydracodone? ## Hello, Renee! How are you? This tablet is manufactured by Dr. Reddy's Laboratories, the marking is actually meant to be 6I and they list it as containing 600mgs of Ibuprofen. The FDA classifies this medication as a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory that's used to treat pain, fever, and swelling. Its typical side effects are listed as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased risk of bleeding, and stomach irritation. Is there anything else I can help with?
I cannot take aspirin products at this time. I need relief for stomach ache. What can I use? ## An antacid is not necessarily the proper thing to alleviate a stomach ache, either. The will only help with issues that have been caused by excess acid, such as gastritis, GERD, pain from ulcers, and heartburn, as detailed by the NIH. What has caused the stomach ache? Has there been any change? Are you on any medications? An I am not aware of any that contain Aspirin. Since it is actually very harsh on the stomach, according to the FDA.
I have pain shooting from my left lower back. It runs down the left side to the foot. Also tingling. I am on 10mg oxycodone + 325mg acetaminophen. I've been on them for I think 3 yrs. So they are not working. My question is how do I go about telling my doctor that I need something stronger without sounding like an addict? Thanks for all answers. Greatly appreciated! ## Hello, Mack! How are you? Has there been any change? At this point, I don't think the concern is needing more medications, but to make sure that you are not experiencing a heart problem, which many such issues on the left side of your body could possibly indicate. Thus, it is best to just tell your doctor what is happening, including the pain you're experiencing, and go from there. However, do not ask them for...
yellowish round pill L marking on one side only. I found it while cleaning medicine cabinet y disposing of old meds. But, I don't know what this is for ## Hello, Nicole! How are you? This tablet is manufactured by Major Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 81mgs of Aspirin, it is the dosage many people take for heart health and blood thinning. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased risk of bleeding, and stomach irritation. Is there anything else I can help with?
Walmart has been getting the green 10/325 oxycodone is there any difference from the oblong white 10/325? I have been getting those at Walmart and now they have changed it. ## Hello, Patti! How are you? When a medication is available as a generic, it is usually manufactured by several different companies, the FDA has done this to try to create market competition to help keep prices down. As a result, which one your pharmacy carries may change, at any given time, depending on who was offering the cheapest price, when they needed to restock their supply. Without knowing the markings on it, I can only theorize, but my best guess is that they have just been manufactured by a different company. However, if you post back with the markings, I will be happy to double check for you to be sure. T...
Can u tell me how the np 13 yellow pill is different from light blue 15's? I understand u are saying they are both oxycodone, 15 mg', but there is something very different on relief recieved. Why would that be the case? ## Hello, Sherry! How are you? Under the Hatch-Waxman Act of 1984, generics are allowed to differ from the name brand, in the amount of the active ingredient, by as much as plus or minus 20%. Additionally, generics are not required to measure against each other, only against the name brand, so that can sometimes create problems, if someone is sensitive to medications, any slight fluctuation could cause them problems. The FDA considers this an acceptable therapeutic window, and most people never experience a difference, but sometimes, it can cause a problem. The g...
My son had knee surgery. He has been struggling with nausea. He was able to eat some crackers and sip water. Concerned that his pain block was wearing off he took 10mg of the prescribed OxyContin. He threw up 29 minutes later. I am concerned that this wasn't enough time for it to get in his system. I left a message for his doctor, but he hasn't returned the phone call- after hours on a Friday. ## Oxycontin is a time released formulation, so the medication is slowly released over a period of 12 hours. Thus, if he vomited up the pill, he would no longer be getting any of the medication. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. His doctor may be able to pr...
How dose 80mg of hysingla 24hr release hydro compare to the Percocet 10/325..I have RSD which is a damaged nerve I have been put on everything just got off fentanyl patch 100mg... I have notice the long action meds dont do as good ## Hello, Crystal! How are you? I'm sorry that you're in pain. Taking the 80mg Hyslinga would be equivalent to taking 53.33mgs of Oxycodone daily. Thus, that is a pretty high dosage. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## So thats like taking 5 Percocet 10/325...I take 4 Percocet a day with my hysingla. .so was my fentanyl patch 100mg stronger?? ## I...
I am seeking a doctor, for one that will listen and not just try to rush through the visit. I have severe problems with my lumbar3, 4 and 5. Also have Fybromyalga and migraines. Because of the pain I am also severely depressed. It's been about 17 years that I have not had one day without pain. One of my biggest fears is having the doctor think I'm out just to seek the drugs. That is not the case. I'm currently taking Norco, Vicodin and Cymbalta 30MG but it's like getting my doctor to pull a tooth. My main thing is she won't listen. She is only in the office on Fridays and the PA will not refill my medications. ## Hello, Unfortunately, no one can really know ahead of time what a doctor is or is not willing to prescribe, as that is based on the doctor's discretion ...
Why does the pill marked 106 white tablet supposed to be 325/10 Percocet but they weigh twice the amount of the other generic brand 325/10 mg. ## The FDA provides a list of inactive ingredients that they consider to be safe, and they allow manufacturers to pick from among them, as long as they don't stray from that list. Thus, the size and weight can vary, from one manufacturer to another, depending on which ones they've chosen to use. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. Sincere thanks for your service to our country. Is there anything else I can help with?
I have a swollen jaw that the pain has moved into my neck. will the hydrocodon-acetaminophn 10-325 help relieve the pain and swelling. ## Hello, Steve! How are you? It may help with the pain, since it is classified by the FDA as a narcotic analgesic, but it will not help with the swelling, or any possible infection that has caused this issue, that will require other medications, as deemed appropriate by your doctor, or dentist. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and constipation. I strongly urge you to consult your doctor, or dentist, as infections that are spreading could become dangerous. Has there been any change?
