The doc says my UA is "inconsistent" bc I'm not showing positive for Versed. I see him in 2 days to discuss this, meanwhile my meds are gone and I'm very concerned. My question is, why would I test negative? The UA is taken within 30 min of IV administration of Versed after epi injections. ANY info you can provide is welcome. I'm very disappointed in my Dr as I truly thought he cared and to leave me in withdrawal and even 4 days out until he has me scheduled to talk about "inconsistency" is a heart breaker. ## Thanks for your reply! I already posted a detailed message and you didn't bother. Really appreciate it!!
I am angry at myself for being in this position. I became dependant on tram a year or so ago. It was the only thing that helped with severe monthly pain, if you know what I'm saying and my doc prescribed it to me like it was tylenol. My first script was 270 50 mg tabs! I just recently relocated to FL and no longer have insurance, know nothing about online buying, sketchy anyway... i don't know what to do or how to function during the living hell of withdrawals! Any support out there is welcome :). Thanks ## Since you are suffering badly and going through the hell of withdrawals, the best and fastest option you have is to sacrify some money and go to a doctor...he/she will give you a prescription....because the doctors know that if you use Tramadol you must not stop suddenly, and...
Hydrocodone/bit/acet ## I have a strange reaction to Lortab. It will keep me up. I have a very hard time falling asleep when I have taken this drug. One doctor suggested to me it was because of my ADD. Is there another drug that I can ask for would work like Lortab that hopefully wouldn't keep me awake. This is a very frustrating problem for me. ## Yes, narcotics do sometimes cause that in some people and it can even be severe enough that it causes some people to abuse them, because they like that effect. By now, I hope you've already found another medication to use, Angela. If anyone else is seeking similar information, you really should just talk to your doctor about the problem. There are other medications you can try, but you may go through several, before finding one that w...
My doctor has had me on the same pain medication (OxyContin 40mg) for the past 9 years. He won't increase it, I've asked him every time I see him. His practice is in Massachusetts, if it makes a difference. I know I've developed a tolerance because it doesn't work like it once did. The reformulation doesn't help matters. Anyone else have a problem with their doctor refusing to raise the quantity or dosage? ## If you're asking him every time you see him, then he may be taking that as drug seeking behavior, which could explain his reluctance to increase the dosage. Is this also a family doctor/general practitioner? If so, that also explains a lot, as they aren't trained to treat pain and, with the relevant prescribing laws, they have to be very careful, since t...
I cannot afford the Duragesic brand 75 µg/hr fentanyl patches that work great (my newer insurance only covers the generic brands), thus I use the generic Mylan brand. This presents three problems: 1) Even a Tagaderm patch over each Mylan patch won't prevent about 2 or 3 patches per month from uncoupling from my skin. 2) I kept a careful record of my pain level every four hours and whenever a new patch was applied day and night for 96 hrs. The data clearly show that no clinical amount of additional fentanyl leaves the Mylan patch after 36 hrs. This does not occur with the Durogesic patch. 3) I tried the Watson brand patch that has a gel-filled sac on it, and its performance was pathetic. The patches were very difficult to keep affixed and they provided significantly less pain re...

I am in too much pain to go driving from pharmacy to pharmacy and I would like to know if someone can help me. I am pretty sure i CANT call them and ask as last time i was told they cannot tell that info by phone. PLEASE SOMEONE HELP!...

Are my dilaudid pills instant release ## Hello, Maxwell! How are you? No, there are no instant release Dilaudid tablets. These are 2mg regular release tablets, so they start working about 15 to 20 minutes after you take them. This medication is a narcotic analgesic, so it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## There are Dilaudid extended release out there they come in 20 mg and they work very well for pain. ## Sooo yes actually they ARE considered "instant" release. You stated they are not IR, but they start working around 20 minutes after you take them? ? Just like an aspirin, percoset, ect,ect,ect.....
I got my script at a different pharmacy and they look different - are they the same? I normally get oval A333. The new ones are oval also but have 4829 V. Is there a difference between the two? ## 4829 on one side and V on the other is Oxycodone 10 mg + Acetaminophen 325 mg. These are manufactured by Qualitest Pharmaceuticals. ## Yes they are the same. Percocets come in all different shapes and sizes,so do not worry about it! ## Please pleeeease, tell me which pharmacy to go to? I am looking for qualitest oxycodone 10mg + acetaminophen 325mg. Those and endocet are the only generics that work for me. I am in such pain and so frustrated. You can find me on {edited for privacy}
My doctor dismissed me as a patient because a very small amount (252 ng/ml) of morphine was detected. I do not take other peoples meds, do not do street drugs. How this could happen is a complete and crazy mystery to me. I take Alprazolam, Tizanidine HAL, blood pressure and water pills. Over the counter allergy medicine and occasionally Benadryl. What is it? The combination? ## It actually might have just been due to the test itself, if your doctor is using a less expensive, non-certified test, then they have been known to show false positives for other substances anywhere from 4 to 50% of the time. Learn more drug testing details here. What type of test was it? ## I agree and know for sure there are different drug screen tests. Less expensive, cheap ones that lot of doctors use that ar...

I took off my 25mcg. Fentanyl 3 days ago and have to have a urine drug screen for employment. Will it show after 72 hrs on a 6405N 5-50 GC/MS test? ## It could still show up, Fentanyl is a very potent narcotic, which is over 80 times stronger than Morphine and most narcotics are detectable in urine for as long as 4 to 5 days. This time frame, however, will vary, depending on your metabolism, fluid intake, activity levels and other factors. If you have a prescription for the patches, all you have to do is inform them of this, when you go in for the test, they cannot fail you for using something that is legally prescribed. The only exceptions to this are certain jobs that are governed by some specific federal laws, where potent narcotics and other controlled substances may endanger far to...
Im wondering about a big bright orange pill thats imprinted with just N 400 on one side and nothing on the other another one i am wondering about is a small but thick peach colored pill thats imprented with just 50 on one side and nothing on the other ## The tablet with the N400 is manufactured by Teva Canada and they list it as containing 400mgs of Ibuprofen. The FDA classifies this medication as a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory that's used to treat pain, fever and swelling. Its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, increased risk of bleeding and stomach irritation. I'm sorry, I have been unable to find an identification for the other tablet. However, I'll keep looking and post back, when I have information for you. Does anyone else know wha...
It seems as though my yellow round Percocet are not as strong as they used to be. It is harder to find pharmacy that has the yellow round ones. Could it be they are less potent? ## What are the markings on the tablets in question? I'm sorry, but the color is not enough information to enable me to research the pill for you. The FDA warns that Percocet carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation.
I've been in chronic pain and without a Dr. To treat it with a proper amount to cover it at all. I don't mind traveling but I can't afford to pay for thevisit. I'm on medicare and partnership. For insurance I was treated with A morphine sulfate time released tab and muscle relaxers and Norco 10 for break through. I refuse to go to Solunuk Dr. I fired him for abuse ## Carrie Everyone deserves the right to competent,quality care regardless of ability to pay however in 2016 and the state of realistic options we all must decide what's most important the availability to receive meds at the very least to prevent narcotic Withdrawl syndrome while searching for a better physician to meet your personal needs. Hope you find that prescriber sooner rather then later. Best of luc...
Mexican drug, supposedly for pain, but ingredients seem like cold medicine. Large pink pill with Aztec indian stamped on it. ## Side of effects from Zolidime ## Zolidime Manufacturer: Collins (Mexico) Active ingredients: Phenylbutazone aspirin dexamethasone Indications: Inflammation; musculoskeletal and joint disorders Phenylbutazone, a pyrazolone derivative, is an NSAID (). However, because of its toxicity it is not used as a general analgesic or antipyretic. Although phenylbutazone is effective in almost all musculoskeletal and joint disorders including ankylosing spondylitis, acute gout, osteoarthritis, and rheumatoid arthritis, it should only be used in acute conditions where less toxic drugs have failed. Initial oral doses of up to 600 mg daily in divided doses have been used in th...
The pill is a white oblong pill with 002 printed on one side and a straight score down the center on the other ## I found a white oblong pill with a strikingly similar description, the only different being that the first 0 is a U (not fully enclosed); but it appears as U02 on one side and is blank & scored down the center on the other. If you think this might be a match, the contents are reported to be: hydrocodone bitartrate (7.5mg) + acetaminophen (325mg); made by Aurolife Pharma. For additional verification, it also carries a National Drug Code of 13107-0020. I hope this helps!
I'm a war vet and got shot in my back during my time in Iraq. I finally found a doctor who wold help me manage my pain. I was given ip204 which Ishould kinda strong for me. I've never taken anything before. Can I spilt this in half so it's not so strong ## Yes, this tablet is manufactured by Amneal Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 325mgs of Acetaminophen, and 10mgs of Oxycodone, in a regular release formulation, so it can be cut in half, as long as your doctor approves. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?
I was recently given a prescription by my pain management dr. for norco 10-325 & i am having a difficult time geting it filled ive tried numerous pharmacy chains and they all say the same thing there on back order and they dont know when theyll recieve them i live in long beach, Ca. does anyone know where i can fill my prescription (norco 10-325) long beach, California ## Hello, Walter! How are you? I'm sorry about the problem that you're having. Unfortunately, we are now into the time of year when shortages of controlled substances usually occur, due to mandatory manufacturing limits. Once a manufacturer reaches their yearly allotted limit, they cannot manufacture any new product, until after the new year. Each year, demand inevitably exceeds supply and there are shortages ...
Blue oval pill with pne imprint on one side ## Hi marie, Based on the description provided, I did find a photograph suggesting that it may be a medication by the name of "Desienfriol-D 24Tab" that originates from Mexico. Desienfriol reportedly contains: Clorfenamina (2mg) + Fenilefrina (5mg) + Paracetamol (500mg). Apparently it's marketed for similar uses as Mucinex is here in the States. Another individual had also depicted their Desienfriol as being elliptical (oval) & blue with PNE on one side, and I haven't seen anything else quite like it, so this is the best match I could locate in my own investigation. Hope this helps! ## I have 2 PNE pills but don't know how to send a picture
