Do they have a line through them or numbers a for digital number on back ## Hello, Pam! How are you? I'm sorry, but I can't answer this from just the limited information you've provided. There are many pills on the market that match this general description and not all are Tramadol. What are the markings/numbers that are on it? Can you please post back and clarify? That would enable the tablet to be identified for you. The FDA classifies this medication as an opioid, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. ## It its like orange in color it had novo on the front and 50 on the back it looks like it's been cut 3 times down the back
I have been on oxycodone 30 mg 4 times a day for about 10 years or more. Recently my pain management doctor did a urine drug screen. I take the prescribed dose faithfully, but the day I got my urine screen done was a day that I only had a half left which is 15 mg. I took it approximately an hour or so before my appointment to get my new script. The doctor dropped me as a patient because he said my urine drug screen was only "faintly positive" for the drug he said. I took all 4 of my prescribed 30 mg all the days before that though. I just don"t understand how this happened! I need a doctor and my meds for my back! I drink Red Bulls and I took Motrin for a couple days and I also took Amoxicillin for an abcessed tooth a few days before my test. Can any of these factors alter m...
I regularly have upset stomach and take norflox tz which decreases my bowel movements but the pain persists. Can I take ibuprofen with norflox for the pain? Will it have any side effects? ## Have you consulted a doctor? There is a chance that you aren't taking the appropriate medication to treat the condition you are experiencing. Additionally, according to NIH reports, these medications could cause nausea, dizziness, headache, diarrhea, and stomach pain, as sid effects, so you might be compounding your problem.
My mom 74 years of had a fall and has nerve pain. So doctor has prescribed pregator. Is it safe and how long she may be asked to take it. She takes after food ## She should take it as long as her doctor deems it appropriate for her. The NIH lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, mood swings, and weight gain. How is she doing on it? Is it helping her?
I was prescribed hycet liquid 7.5, but the pharmacy labeled the medicine hydrocodone/acetaminophen. Is it the same thing? Mine is purple. ## Yes, Hycet is just a brand name for this medication, Hydrocodone and Acetaminophen are the active ingredients. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?
I have an oval pill with m92 on it. It's suppose to be a tramadol, can you tell me if it is? I couldn't find it online. ## Hi Tami, Just curious, what color is this pill you're describing? Also, are the m92 connected or is the "m" on one side and the "92" on the other? And I guess my last question would be, whereabouts did you get it from (i.e. over the internet/overseas or from another person perhaps)? I only ask because there is an epidemic of counterfeits with regards to these types of sources... and may be something to keep in mind. So far, a white round tablet imprinted with M T7 is the closest matching Tramadol pill I've found; and these ones are made by Mylan.
Are Roxy 30mg light blue coating & white inside?? Or Morphine 15mg? I found half of a pill from 1-2yrs ago. Since Onlyy half of it I can't be sure cuz don't "look" like nothing on 1 side & other side barely shows vry tip top of what may be M?? Wanna be sure I'm Not takin sumthin else that could be bad or affect me sum how dangerously ..Allergic..sick etc ## There are generic Oxycodone 30mg tablets that are light blue on the outside (I don't know what the inside looks like). They also have an imprint of an "M" inside of a box on one side and the the number 30 sitting over a score line on the back. These pills are made by Mallinckrodt and are reportedly 6.00 mm in size... Perhaps there may be a way to measure the circumference of half a tablet for a...
I found a bunch of small white round pills. The only imprint is the capital letter "L" on one side. ## Is the L embossed on the pills or is it printed in black? If it's in black then these may be 325mgs Aspirin tablets, which are sold over the counter. It is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory used to treat pain, fever and swelling. Side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, headache and stomach irritation. Learn more: ## I found a small white round pill. The only imprint is the capital letter "L" on one side. It's indented and there is no color. It has a slightly domed shape on both sides. ## I just found 7 of these pills described, in my mineral water drink/bottle this morning! I have no idea where they came from our who put them there!! Can anybody tell me wha...
A white pill with 44 over 198 stamped on one side, and blank on the other. Not sure what these are. It looks like aspirin, just not sure on the stamping. Unidentified. ## there is a scored line between the numbers 44 above and 198 below. ## Hi Chuck, From what I could gather, a round white pill with 44 over 198 on one side (divided by a horizontal score line) and blank on the back reportedly contains 50mgs of Dimenhydrinate. This medication is an over-the-counter antiemetic drug indicated for treating symptoms of motion sickness (i.e nausea / vomiting). For verification, the manufacturer is listed as Teva Pharma. I hope this helps! ## yes there is a score in the middle of 44 and 198
Now I've switched to Oxycodone 80mg, q12 healing with 10/325 percocet 6x a day. THE OXY is NOT HOLDING Me-- in 5 Hrs I'm in Pain - 6 bad pain- by 8hrs I am crying. I have many chronic pain issues. HELP!! What WILL HELP so I can function and possibly return to work? ## Hello, Lilly! How are you doing? I am very sorry that you're in so much pain. Unfortunately, not every medication works for everyone that tries it. Have you ever used Fentanyl, yet? It is the most potent opiate available, so it may help you. The FDA warns that it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. ## Talk to your dt about you trying oxymorphone(opana) it's stronger than percocet Momma ## And why does he have y...
Rx filled & wondering about oxymorphone 10 mg ir by roxane, what Ive gotten previously. Now got 10 mg ir by teva. The teva doesn't seem to give as much relief. It might be too early to judge, as I had to GI without for 2 days. Any thoughts or opinions would be appreciated. ## Should've read had to go without! ## :-) No worries, I'm very fluent in typonese! And yes, it most likely is far too early to know for sure if it's going to work for you or not. If you had to go without for 2 days, then your pain has actually been aggravated by the rebound effect that can occur with a sudden withdrawal of these types of medications…and that's on top of the typical withdrawal symptoms. I'd say to give it about 2 weeks, then you should be able to judge a bit better. ...
I take the perc 10 and opana 10ER..along with steroid injections every few months and I am not getting the relief I hoped for. My pain doc has been great so far and has adjusted my meds several times. I want to ask for stronger meds.. I work 10 hr days and I'm starting to struggle more and more. I want to ask for higher dosages, but I don't want him to get a bad impression of me. What is the best way to ask this?... Thanks ## Actually, the best way to go about it would be to bring up the subject of your pain levels, how you're getting less relief than you expected and let him suggest any changes to your medications. If he doesn't follow your train of thought, then it may be necessary to ask, but if he's a pain specialist he should be thinking on the right track. Whil...

I have heard that paracetamol IP is enhanced with some type of viral protein, is this true? ## No, it is just Paracetamol, which is used to alleviate pain and fever. The NIH lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, and headache. Is there anything else I can help with?
Looks exactly like Mallinckrodt's 8mg hydromorphone pill....except it's not. Possibly a fake? I was informed this is a kind of heart medication but could find no such information online even searching through the manufacturer site. I did find, however several instances in where the actual manufacturer had made similar mistakes in the past i.e. placing a percentage of incorrect medication into a shipment. Please respond if you definitely know what this could be. If your answer is dilauded please do not respond. ## When we're just going off a description alone, there's no way for anyone to provide you with a "definite" answer (because counterfeits can look the same as the real thing). However if you didn't fill a prescription at a licensed drug store and it loo...
My doctor writes my prescription for Hydrodcod/Acetam 5-325 and the maker is Watson. When the drug store filled it last week it has M365 on the pill. I have taken three on three different days and noticed there was no relief. I took one pill 3 hrs ago and there has been no relief. That is the reason I took a pill out of the bottle and found the M365 stamped on the pill. If they are suppose to be the same - why is the pain still there? ## The M365 pills are indeed hydrocodone (5mg) + acetaminophen (325mg); however it may be that certain binders/fillers in these tablets affect bioavailability or how well they get absorbed into your system vs the other brand you're used to taking. If I were in this position, I'd probably see if the prescribing doctor could specify a particular manu...
3 sources say prednisone and 1 says percocet. It has 54 on top and 343 below it. Which medication is it? I want to know exactly what it's for? ## The manufacturer, Roxane Laboratories, list it as containing 50mgs of Prednisone. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, acne, fluid retention, nervousness, insomnia, and weight gain. Is there anything else I can help with?
Hi, I'm 20 years old and I want to know, does Combiflam cause any damage to the kidneys? My mom always scolds me for taking this tablet. I often use this tablet for pain relief, such as for backaches, headaches, and stomachaches, etc. I consume 5-6 tablets in a month. Could this cause any kind of damage to my kidneys? ## There is actually greater risk of this medication causing damage to your liver, or stomach, according to NIH reports. Other side effects may include nausea, dizziness, headache, increased risk of bleeding, and stomach irritation. However, even those risks aren't very great, if you only take it 5 or 6 times per month, but it never hurts to check with your doctor to be sure.
I have had chronic lower back pain for over 10yrs. I was assaulted in 2014. Suffering from chronic neck & shoulder pain, taking tablets imprinted with '230' but they don't last. Someone told me the 'a333' tablets are better. Are they better? ## Both of these tablets are listed as containing 10mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen, so they are the same. The FDA warns that they carry the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. It might be that you need a higher dosage to alleviate your pain. Have you informed your doctor of the problem?
