Hey, i got a serious question. I live in PA, and i just happened to find a clinic in the michigan area with a good doctor. so my question is if i go to michigan and get a script for pain meds, how would i go about filling the script. being from PA, do i even have a chance of any pharamacys in the area filling it. I know i have a less chance if i bring the script back to PA because no one will fill it if its out of state. can someone give me some helpful insight on what i should do so i dont waste a drive and money. please help. ## Last summer I went out of state & had a Rx due the day after I was set to leave. If I'm taking only Tylenol 3/4 with codeine, how is it that hydrocodone would show up in a hair test? How can I dispute it? I believe hydrocodone is a secondary metabolite in about 10% of cases. Is it true? I know hydrocodone is Vicodin or Norco, but I do not and have never taken these drugs before. The codeine is bad enough.

Our American Eskimo developed a cough about a month ago. She has an enlarged heart and possible collapsing trachia. She's 15 yrs and has been put on Tussigon. Lortab, Lorcet, Norco and Vicodin were all brand names for medication combinations that contained Acetaminophen and Hydrocodone. There are none that contain more than 325mgs of Acetaminophen per dose, now. The ones with the higher amounts were all removed from the market. That includes the Oxycodone combinations, as well as all other combination prescription drugs that contain Acetaminophen. I am trying to find out what this medication is. As I found it's just laying in my drawer amongst the bottles that I have of other medications that I take. I've been prescribed oxycodone 30mg tabs for over five years now and I just lost my Dr cause he had some health issues.. I'm really hurting trying to find a Dr that won't judge me and think I'm some scum bag drug addict because I've taken roxicodone for awhile now because of bad injuries playing baseball I was a pitcher and had tough injuries.. I'm a chronic pain patient due to Fibromyalgi/Chronic Fatigue and Degenerative back & hip disease, for 21 years I've tried all kinds of meds and only narcotics have ever helped.. I'm on Percocet 15 mg, 1 every 4-6 hours, for 6-7 yrs now. . (Long acting meds behave as short acting in my body, so can't take anything long acting...which prevents me from being able to use a breakthrough med). I want desperately to get off the Percocet and detox, hoping I can start over. I've gone up the ranks from APC with Codeine, Lortab, Norco, Vicodin, etc, till I'm now on this high dose of Percocet. I am trying to purchase extra strenth ascriptin coated with malox. All the web sites I usually order from says it's on back order. ## Unfortunately, I'm not finding it available anywhere, either. Have you tried alternative products, such as regular buffered Aspirin tablets? Is lorox is just a painkiller or does it actually heal the joint inflammation? ## This is just an anti-inflammatory that helps alleviate the pain. I found these on the floor in my room. I heard my kid say something about aquataphen (acetaminophen?). It reads 44-325 and is pink oblong shaped. ## Based on my research, this appears to be some sort of over the counter allergy/sinus medication. It reportedly contains a combination of Acetaminophen, Phenylephrine and Chlorpheniramine Maleate. That said, in my opinion it's probably nothing to be overly concerned about with regards to general safety. I just hope people aren't accidentally taking them thinking it's pez candy or something else... Nevertheless, please post back if or when you're able to verify the pill identification.

Has anyone noticed a difference with Exalgo ER compared to the generic form of this drug? I have noticed that the generic does not work as well as the Trade name. My mother has just been put on morphine 15mg 2x a day. She has breakthrough pain after 6-8 hrs. She had been taking 60mgs of oxycontin a day. I'm on the fentanyl 50 transdermal gel patch and am not sure why they have chosen to put me on it so quickly. Can anyone shed some light for me on this subject? My PCP had me on a sript of 120mg oxycodone..skipped lortab.. anyway I was only having to take about 90mg of that oxy to maintain my pain from bulging disks and herniated disk in my neck. I had been self medicating for the pain since I had no insurance and finally got some. The docs are at odds that I may also have fibromialgia. My husband is in constant severe pain due to needing a new knee but he cant have one as he has too many other complications health wise.
