Please explain sciatica to me. I am almost 50 yrs old and I have never been sick before. But since the last two months I have lower back pain especially around the coccyx. This pain radiates to the lower part of the extremities changeably that aggravates during walking and relives while sitting. I have pain also on both buttocks muscle.. I have never examined for this complaint and I know I should have to examined. But the problem is am living in a long distance from the access. Therefore, What shall I do? Until the examination takes place what kind of drugs should I have to take?

My husband and I recently moved to South Carolina & have been desperately trying to locate a good pain specialist/doctor near Columbia, SC. I suffer chronic pain from being stabbed in the stomach from a domestic violence attack many years ago. My spleen, gall bladder, and appendix all had to be removed. My small intestines were completely severed, so a good bit of my intestines had to be removed while a temporary colostomy bag was attached to my stomach. I had to wear the bag for 3 months while the intestines healed and then could thankfully be reattached. My vegus nerve was also severed by the knife, so I now have Gastroparesis, a condition where I can only digest around 30% of the food I eat...the rest comes up in extremely violent puking episodes. I was prescribed Percocet 5/325 for shingles. Then my Dr switched it to oxycodone 5/325. What is the difference between the two? ## To me it just sounds like they switched you from the brand name to the generic which contains the same active ingredients and doses. Please I need a lot of help.Last Nov.27,3016 broke all bones in big toe. I had no insurance so couldn't see the bone doctor. My name is Leon, over the past five years or so I injured my lower back from the sport cricket. I was the fastest bowler in my cricket club, then one day in a practice session I bowled and I get a shock in my lower back and could not walk due to the pain in my lower back. I went to the hospital, did some scan and they could not find anything amiss. They then gave me an inj. for the pain and some Panadol. A few days later I was good to go, but a year back as I was in the shower I bend and could not move my lower back. That same pain hit me like a train again, so I checked in at the hospital, where they could not find anything wrong. I was treated the same way then sent home. In just a few days I was all good to go again. Now I am in the same boat all over again. Plz help.

I have been taking morphine sulfate (Statex) and codeine for 20 years without any problems at all. I am extremely intolerant and allergic to medications and in severe pain every day (for 41 years) so being able to tolerate opiates is essential to my survival. The fact they are natural is what allows me to tolerate them. But Statex is on back order so they gave me MS IR this week which is morphine sulfate pentahydrate and it made me very sick. Worse than that, they then gave me some Statex they had been holding out on me and for the first time in 20 years it made me sick as well. I've Been on The Methadone Program for about 10 years now and I have also been Fighting an Awful Battle against The dreaded "C" word ! I am just trying to find out how much ten of these tablets will cost me to get filled but no one will post the price they post everything but freakin pain pills! ## Hi, they will cost less than a dollar each. Go to walmart the prices are better, more like .50 each. ## Sorry you had such a frustrating experience. The reason most places don't list prices for any controlled substance is due to the risk of theft, they don't actually want to put it out there and have people know whether or not they carry them. However, from what I'm finding, the current price for the 5/325 tablets runs about 60cents each on average, of course that will vary from area to area, but you should be looking for a pretty cheap price if you're just getting 10 of them. My husband puts on my fentanyl patches for me because i can not reach my back. He had also woke up with one of my patches stuck to his arm which came off some time when we were sleeping. He takes percocet only but when he went into take a urine test it came back positive for fentanyl and percocet. The patch that was stuck to his arm was a patch that was already on me for almost 2 days. Why would he show positive for fentanyl. He's upset with me because of that one getting stuck to him and that he has to touch them to put it on my back. I just received my new norco prescription 120 pills and it has been 28 days not 30. Cvs always makes me wait the 30 days. Does anyone know of a pharmacy that will fill a few days early and takes insurance in the Pearland, League City, Pasadena, or Houston area? ## whoa, there are aloT OF PPL that cannot find a dr to prescribe this medication. Trying to fill at any pharmacy before 30 days will cause you to get red flagged. Last year i could pick up the script 28 days it being up to the pharmacist and insurance pays for 26-27 days but its up to the pharmacist.
