Is anyone willing to start a petition with me on Chang.org due to Actavis taking over Watson. For four years I have been satisfied with taking the Watsonn Oxycodone 10mg with no problems. I suffer with severe spinal injury along with arthritis and fibromyalgia. One day about four months ago, I noticed my medication was oval shaped and small. I was not alarmed but after taking it for a week, I noticed that I was in severe and unusual pain with irritability and headaches. I called the pharmacist who also happens to be a friend of mine and she stated that Actavis has now taken over Watson and that all Walgreens stores are now carrying Actavis. Also, Target and Cvs are carrying Actavis. I'm going to try Schnucks but in the meantime, instead of complaining on the forum which is a good st...

I have been on 10/325 for three years. I have been compliant in every way with my pain and wellness doctor. I suffer with severe RA. I go every three months for RX and follow up. I went in today and my physician point blank said i was negative for my hydrocodone, i can take up to five in 24 hours. I was in shock and she was absolutely rude. I am honest and have never ever been concerned about a urine test. So i was in shock. I did recall having about five days of n/v/d prior to my visit 3 mos ago, during my illness i still took my meds along with phenergan and routine meds. So would this cause a neg? ## Is the urine test from the time when you didn't take the pain meds for five days before your appointment ? If your dr/nurse asked you if you had any pain meds left, did you tell him ...

I had probation today and they gave me a swab test. The one that goes under the tunge. After so long the tip turned blue. The reason I asked is cause I had took opiates that night and I'm really freaking out. Does the blue tip mean I didn't pass it and does probation use the good ones that show all the drugs? Please help. I'm so worried I feel like I could have a heart attack. ## I'd say you are f****d unfortunately. Don't do anything when u know u have a probation meeting and give yourself at minimum 3 days on most oral drugs, 10 for suboxone, and a minimum of 10 days for marijuana. From what I've read (though I could be wrong) u need up to 3 days/72hours to pass opiates in a saliva test. I pray u r alright but u have to be more careful! ## Did you pass? I'd...

My orthopedic doc put me on 5/325mg percocets #40. How many days of supply is that? I had carpal tunnel surgery and am now having complications. ## What are the specifics of the prescription? Has it been prescribed to be taken ever 6 to 8 hours regularly? Or has it been directed that you only take it as needed? I'm sorry, but the answer depends on this additional information. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. Are you on any other medications? What complications are you experiencing? ## It's I tab q8* (every 8 hours) quantity 40 tabs was wondering how many days supply that is ## That's 3-4 per day. If you take 4 per day(1 every 6 hours) (24 ho...

to the person looking for roxy. The company that make these has voluntary shut down. They are also the manufactors of morphine, which was recalled due to pills being larger than supposed to be. Ethex is the name of the co. u can google it and read about.Your dr. should know this. u can be switched to oxycoton 30 mg.The differencer ot the two is 'roxy is addmediate release and oxy is time release. ## do roxicodone 30mg have 4 b 12 on one side and a v on the other ## 4812 V is indeed 30mgs of Oxycodone, a generic for Roxicodone. Some of the most common side effects include: nausea, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. ## I hate when people don't know what they are talking about. First it's oxycontin and they don't make thirty mg. ## Your statement is incorrect in both a...

I'm taking 50 mg trazodone for insomnia. Some nights I have a lot of hip pain. Could I also take an Excedrin pm? ## It is generally best not to combine the 2, unless your doctor instructs otherwise, since the Excedrin PM also contains a medication to help induce sleep, according to the FDA. Taking them together could cause you to experience too much sedation, which may result in respiratory distress, or respiratory failure. Are you on any other medications?

I have 2 different types of pills that are supposed to be exactly the same. One is round, white and has a line across the back of it, and on other side it has in big numbers 54 and under that is the number 543. The other pill is flat, smooth, white, plain on one side and on the other side it has the number 4839 with a line under that and a kind of cursive V. I received the latter one a while ago when I had dental work done and it helped me so much. My general practitioner prescribed the first one for major pelvic and lower back pain and they are supposed to be the exact same thing and I assure you they are not. I cannot pinpoint the difference. Is it a different manufacturer or just one little ingredient difference? I must find out the answer to this, because I am in massive pain and sc...

Hi! I am visiting my family in Texas from Atlanta. I have pinched a nerve in my shoulder since I've been here. The only thing my grandmother has to give me is Tramadol. I am hesitant to take it because I'm afraid it will screw me up and I won't be able to take my evening dose of suboxone 4mg. Does anyone have any advice on this? ## I would advise against the Tramadol because (a) it is contraindicated while taking suboxone, and (b) it would most likely affect any lab work which your pm specialist would have you submit and you would risk being discontinued treatment. Instead, you should double check with your doctor or pharmacist if you can take an OTC pain medication such as Ibuprofen or Acetaminophen, just don't take any other opioid type of medication. I hope this helps...

The pharmacy said that my original ratio of oxycodone/apap was on backorder and they sent me sandoz oxycodone instead. I am having a constant dull headache since the substitution. Could this be the cause? ## Headaches can be a normal side effect of this medication, according to FDA reports. You may also experience nausea, dizziness, constipation, and dry mouth. How are you doing, now? Has there been any change? Are you on any other medications? ## I stopped the subscription and am awaiting my regularly prescribed meds. Pharmacy said the binder of the pills are different, not the main ingredient, but it is reacting so I will await my old drug. Thanks for posting.

If you use Norco for a few years to manage pain can you develop Cirrhosis of the liver or go into acute liver failure because of the Tylenol that it contains. I'm told excessive amounts of Tylenol and Tylenol in general are not good for your liver. I have been diagnosed with stage 4 Cirrhosis- as I'm told-more than likely due to Norco. Could this be true? ## Cirrhosis is not usually caused from Acetaminophen, it's most common causes are alcohol abuse, Hepatitis, non-alcoholic steatoheptatis, and hemochromatosis, according to NIH articles. Acetaminophen can cause harm to the liver, and may cause liver failure in those that take high doses, for a long period of time, though. Do you frequently drink alcoholic beverages?

I have been addicted to hydrcodone for a year or more. how can i detox at home, even with a doctors assistance ## Hi Mark, Usually for drugs like this the safest way to stop taking them is to tapper off them, if possible. Some medications can be taken in fractions (actually cut into pieces) and these smaller pieces can be taken in place of the regular dose for a period of several weeks until the body is no longer dependent upon them. In my opinion, another key component to weaning off is to have your doctor make you a tapering schedule on a calendar in order track your progress and keep you on the right path to complete your goal within a specific time frame. Without a way to track your progress, tapering can sometimes be much more difficult than it needs to be. I hope this helps in any...

Hi. I was prescribed Enantyum 25mg, but I wanted to know if it is ok to take Hydrocodone 5/325mg instead? Thanks. ## You should take the medication that your doctor has prescribed. Enantyum is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory that is used to treat pain, fever, and swelling. The NIH lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased risk of bleeding, and stomach irritation. Have you tried taking it, yet, to see if it helps you? ## Hi: Thanks for your reply I took Naproxen instead because I couldn't get Enantyum, but it work thanks

Hi. I'm wondering how many tramadol it takes to equal 30 milligrams of methadone? And will it keep me outta methadone withdrawals? ## Hello is anyone out there ?! I'll be stopped at 30 mg methadone pls help ## I'm sorry, Trissy, but there is really no comparison between them. Tramadol is a very mild opiate, you could not safely take enough of it to equal the dosage you were taking of Methadone. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Hey verwon thank u for responding..... I've read things of people saying that they work..... Fake Norco 7.5mg, as well as Klonopin 1-2mg orange pills in Bluffton, Indiana. I am 99% positive these pills have either been substituted or purposely sold bad, an old batch, etc.. I am on a low amount, 2 a day for having acutely infected sinus perforations from teeth pulled as well as 8 additional teeth yet to be pulled, scared straight. I know it's illegal to share pills, but I traded one equal pill for another and always had the same reaction - My pills did not work, but others did. What do I do? I live in a small town where corruption is the norm. How do you prove this so they can't harm people and steal their and the insurance companies money? Win against a giant corrupted company? I was tested by my insurance company and it showed no Norco, which I was taking from Walmart....

I'm barely able to write this. Pain meds not working last couple of days. One change is I want to use up some old pills made by Ranbaxy. Might be this be my problem? I googled around but am not finding anything on best generic Morphine Er. TIA! ## Sorry to hear about your pain. This will probably sound like a silly question, but can you confirm that the old Ranbaxy pills were not expired? If they had worked well for you in the past but are not helping now, that would be my first guess. Also, may I ask what mg dose your tablets are, and what is the previous brand that gave you good results? There are probably at least half a dozen manufactures for the extended release morphine generics. I expect most to be comparable to one another, but there are anecdotal stories of certain variance...

Can I take both Ibuprofen IB tablets (2) and one Hydrocodone - APAP (5-325mg) tablet for my pain every 6 hours? ## Have you been instructed to take them both? They are sometimes prescribed together to help get better control of severe pain due to such conditions. The FDA warns that Hydrocodone carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth.

I am flushing them down the commode. I started yesterday at 300 milligrams of neurontin. I had two doses today. I was on percocet 10 mg for 4 months due to a spinal fracture and edema. I had slammed into an object and broke my nose, but the MRI also showed a spinal injury. After reading about all the side effects and experiences of other patients on these medications, i'd rather take the pain. ## What side effects are you concerned about? Perhaps those can be addressed to help you feel better/safer about taking it. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, mood swings, and weight gain. Additionally, please do not flush medications. That causes contamination of our ground water.

I know this pill is hydrocodone. What I'm trying to find is the milligram. It has an m566 on it and the other side is blank. ## @Jsnet, The oval white pill in question is actually combination of Acetaminophen (325mg) + Hydrocodone bitartrate (7.5 mg). For verification, the manufacturer is listed as Mallinckrodt and the pill itself carries a National Drug Code of 00406-0366. You can also view an image of the pill by clicking on the NDC link above. I hope this helps!
