I was just wanting to know what is stronger ratio lenoltec no 4 or oxycodone acetaminophen 5 mg/ 325 ## Hello, Pat! How are you? The Oxycodone is a much stronger analgesic. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## ok thank you for the information ## I have multiple sclerosis Drs. Have tried many pain meds but the pain is never ending and consistant. I recently had to change Pain Drs and she reduced ne from 120 oxycodone 30mg to 30 oxycodone15 mg Im still getting 90 oxymorphone but I'm so afraid of becoming addicted to it. My Dr wants to try the Pain pump on me does anyone know about th...

Tuff stuff! My pain management doctor changed me from 40 mg of oxycodone to 15 mg of methadone. I have a trimalleolar fractured ankle that can not have an ankle replacement as I am only age 40. All 4 Orthopedics can't decide on what type of surgery I should have, but they all agree that there's an infection, torn ligaments and tendons, etc. and that I'm going to hurt worse than what I am left with NOW after a car accident injury... All I have is drugs for pain. Routine drug testing has shown poppy seeds, morphine and heroin......WHICH I HAVE NEVER USED... Someone please explain this to me!!!!

Is it like the yellow pill with the cursive V on it (10/325)? That's what I use to get but today I got this. What's the difference? ## They have just been manufactured by different companies, which is common with generics. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. How are you doing taking them? Have you experienced anything unusual? ## CVS just refilled my hydrocodone WITH CARACO/SUN PH. I noticed my insurance didn’t pay a penney as they use to pay a few dollars on my prescription when I had mfr..Mallinckrodt. All about big profits for CVS. Now I feel sick.

I just rec'd 30 of these, but they have NO effect. Tooth/gum pain. Am used to oblong tramadol tablets - which, although weak, have an effect on my pain. Now we're getting these AN 627s. These are like placebos. ## these are the REAL thing, not a placebo. They are the SAME as the oblong tramadol. ## AN 627 does contain 50mgs of Tramadol, however, there can be some differences in generic drugs, so they may not work as well as the others you were getting. ## These don't seem to be as strong as some of the other tramadol I have taken, such as the Mylan. I don't know why. There should be no reason for this. If u buy a genertic it should act the same as a brand. This pill should be reported and looked into to find out what we are spending money on. It works, but not as strong ...

looking for a clinic who just takes cash and you don't need a referral. i was booted out of the only one i knew of in charlotte because my ex-wife got into my bottle and stole some of them then i was called in for a pill count. go figure....i hate her ## Since no one really lists this type of information on their webpage, I suppose the only way to know for certain would be to call around and ask. Are you specifically looking for "pain management" doctors/clinics? If so, you can give the following links a try for locating PM doctors and specialists within your general area: {link removed because site no longer exists} wellness.com/find/pain%20management%20specialist I hope this info helps! ## i'm interested in finding ones in NC as well. even if a referral is required tho...

I am a vet from the war that has no end in sight, I am not special just a soldier like many of you out there. I was shot in the right shoulder and it came out my chest. I was very lucky. Anyway I have been on 40 mg x two a day of oxycontin for 3 years well it was working fine and controlling my pain. Now I am taking the same meds but on the pill it says op not oc. It is almost like I am not on any pain meds at all. I don't think my dr. Has a clue about the change in the formula. He wants to give me more op. but I must have become immune to the meds and I want to know if any one has had any success with a drug called daliade I know that is not the proper spilling but I was hoping some one out there has experience with this type of pain relief med. Thanks mike. ## Purdue Pharma did ch...

I took 5 30mg morphine friday night, and i have a UA tuesday morning, i am 6'4" 210pounds and decently active. i am pretty tolerant to opiates but havent used in quite a while. do you think i will pass? ## and i eat many meals a day, fast metabolism. ## I don't have any precise way to factor your metabolism, overall health, activity levels, fluid intake and etc. into it and they all play a role, as well as other individual characteristics. What I can tell you is that the average detection time in a urine screening for most people is approximately 4 days, after last dosing. Learn more Morphine details here. Thus that time frame may be cutting it close, but it's difficult to say with any certainty. When will you get the results back? ## I passed the test. All went well. Bu...

My husband is prescribed Vyvanse 70 mg a day but has been taking morphine over 100 mg a day. He has his yearly physical from his doctor that prescribes him Vyvanse in 3 days. He thought this "physical" was to test if Vyvanse was hurting his liver or kidneys and that it was something the government made doctors do if the prescribe controlled substances. However, after reading up on things, it sounds like doctors are doing drug tests to 1. See if you are taking anything else that is not prescribed to you and 2. If you are taking what that doctor is prescribing to you. Can anyone give their opinion on this? And, if they are testing for other drugs, will the morphine show up? He hasn't taken any since yesterday (Saturday) and his "physical" is on Tuesday? ## If he has be...

Will Fentanly show up on a urine screen at the pain clinic? They used Fentanly to sedate me for a procedure and then I had to give a urine screen. ## Just take your record showing what drug or drugs you were given for sedation or pain by an actual doctor's order and they can't say anything. ## It is an opiate narcotic, so yes, it will most likely show up, so it would be best to disclose that you were given it, and produce the medical records showing why it was given. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, constipation, and headache. Have you received any results, yet?

I have never had pain problems until 3 or 4 years ago. I was attacked and it has left with a bad back pain. I never needed surgery but I may need it now since I gained weight and maybe over time it has caused the issue to be worse. It is right above my tail bone or above my butt checks. I don't know if it is from being tense but it is always hurting me to the point I have to take breaks when I am just mopping my small kitchen. Tramadol is what I was given at the time of attack. I had issues getting on government insurance. I need the insurance anyway for mental medication. Problem is I only know of Tramadol of any experience with pain meds. I do not want the Doctor putting me on Percocet or anything like that. I am safe and comfortable with Tramadol. It is the only pain med I have a...

I had my angiogram done and my Dr said it was normal with minor luminal irregularities. EF 50-55%. I'm on aspirin 100mg, amlodipine 2.5mg, atorvastatin 10mg, metformin 250mg TDS. Plus I'm allergic to NSAID's. After the angiogram I also developed hematoma on my right hand, showing acute obstruction (length 5cm) with retograde flow. Please advise. ## The mild luminal irregularities mean that you may be developing heart disease. The NIH lists the typical side effects of these medications as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination, and joint/muscle aches. What caused the hematoma? How are they treating it?

I was taking ms contin 30 mg for chronic back pain that has not gotten better since I broke my back. The ms contin has not ever worked good for me so my pain Dr switched me to xtampza er 13.5 mg but it does not seem to be working at all. I was wondering how long after taking it is it supposed to start working and is it like the ms contin in that after taking it for a few days will be stronger? ## It should start to help within 15 to 20 minutes of taking it, but it is a time released medication, so you will not feel the full effects all at once. Just like the MS Contin, it is slowly released over time. The FDA warns that it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. How are you doing, now? Has ther...

I just got mine today and they are not worth a sh... I very disappointed in these new laws that is affecting the people . Wastson or dan or DuPont . I thought was the brand but they don't carry them here. Guess I have to mail oder them . watson is the only way. I just dont understand why the government has to change things. Tussnexx . Keeps changing patent so they can keep it write o well . I be huntting really brand Percocet next month ## Hi James, Because they are different manufacturers, Amneal more than likely contains a different set of "inactive" ingredients than Actavis (formally known as Watson). From my own research, I'm led to believe that these binders/fillers are the root cause behind some pills not working as effectively as their "identical" counterp...

I couldn't take my back discomfort while trying to have an MRI. My doctor prescribed this for me to take during my next appointment. My concern is that the med will take the discomfort away for the duration of the MRI which is 45 minutes and can't be stopped. Would I dare take 2? ## You should not take more than your doctor has instructed, one tablet should last about 4 to 6 hours for most people. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. Are you on any other medications? Sometimes a sedative also helps with such problems.

I'd like to know if there are any alternatives to Paracetamol tablets. I usually take them for headaches or body aches and was recently diagnosed with a fatty liver because of medicine (antifungal meds caused the fatty liver) and I would like to go easy on the liver. Please let me know any headache medications / painkillers I can take that are not heavy on the liver.

I have taken Oxycodone for a couple of years prescribed by my pain manegement Dr. He recently prescribed 15mg morphine sulphate ER twice daily as well as the oxy. I took my first dose and I literally felt nothing. No added pain relief, no euphoria, nothing. When I called the Dr and told him it had no effect, he told me to take 2 15mgs at a time 2 times daily. I havent tried that yet. I would prefer to crush them and use them as a shorter acting med if that is possible. I often run short on the oxy before it is time for my next fill and would like to know if anyone has experimented with the morphine sulphate ER and found out how to take it to get the same effect. Can it be crushed or chewed? How much of that powder should be taken? It would be nice to use them to carry me when I run shor...

small round pill with the letter M on on side and the number 60 on the other ## Is the M also inside a square? If so, this tablet contains 60mgs of Morphine ER, a generic for MS Contin, this is a time release narcotic analgesic. Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and dry mouth. You can read more here: Please post back and let me know if this is the correct tablet. ## Yes this is the one, thanks Can't get this to stop giving me a error message

I have someone who is taking opana er 40mg. This is the question. Can they be broken down and used intravenously? Does doing this help relieve pain faster? ## It is not safe to attempt this, since tablets have not been formulated for injection. Tablets, especially these times released ones, contain fillers and not all of them are meant to be broken down by the human body, they are normally just expelled as waste. However, when yo break them down and try to inject these substances, you are placing them into the body in a manner, in which, it cannot properly process them out. This creates the risk of blockages, which could lead to heart attack, stroke, or embolism. If they need faster pain relief, there are instant release tablets and injectable medications that they can discuss with thei...
