I want to get off them ASAP as I'm scared of becoming reliant. Do I need to see my GP to wean off or is it ok to just stop? Thanks! ## Hello, Olivia! How are you? You haven't been taking a very high dose, so withdrawals would likely be minimal and may include nausea, dizziness, fever, chills, diarrhea and rebound pain, according to the U.S. FDA. However yes, it would be best to slowly taper off, though after only being on them for 4 weeks, that isn't likely to be a long process. Speaking to your doctor about it would help ensure that you do so as safely as possible. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Hi..... Thank you so much for your reply. I spoke to my Pharmacist and they said ...
I've been taking Oxycodone 30 mg for neuropathy several years. Recently I was hospitalized five weeks and put on OxyContin 40 mg plus Oxycodone 15 mg for breakthrough which worked like a charm. My problem being is that my 77 year old PCP won't prescribe a time-release and considers them dangerous. My question is this; how do I wean off this med using my leftover 30 and 15 mg Oxycodone until I can locate a new doctor who will prescribe the OxyContin? Plus I'll need to wean from my Oxycodone if I can't locate a doctor. I fear the withdrawal plus the horrible pain of Neuropathy returning full guns if I can't find a new doc. PLEASE someone PLEASE help me with this problem as I'm terribly frightened ## Clonidine helps for withdrawal symptoms. ## Thanks so much for ans...
I stopped taking Kadian 40mg 19 days ago. I am still taking oxycodone 5mg. It has been a rough 19 days (physically). I still have GI symptoms and can barely eat. I thought the nausea and diarrhea would be subsiding by now. I'm taking the oxycodone every 3-4 hours (5mg) and thought since I was still on that it would help the w/d symptoms. My next doctor's appointment isn't for a month and I guess I'm hard headed and decided to try to do this my own way and see if I could get through it. Does anyone have any thoughts, advice on the GI upset, suggestions? I just thought I'd be past this. I wasn't on a crazy high dose of Kadian but I had been on it for 5 or 6 years. I also want to make sure this is still likely related to withdrawal. Thanks ## Yes, there is a good ch...
I have been taking Oxycontin extended relief in low doses for about 24 years I believe. I started out taking 20mg 3 time per day. Today I take 60 mg 3 times a day and still get enough relief from chronic pain to be active. I am cutting my self back to 40 mg 3 times per day with my doctors permission. However my longtime doctor suddenly passed away and now I have no doctor to continus my prescriptions. My health plan is Kaiser and they will not help ,me. I also have Medicare but they will not help with oxycontin either. I pay for my own medicine but need a compassionate doctor to help me.
Updated in OxyContinI have been taking Lyrica for several months now and have many side effects from this drug. I have gained 10-15lbs, have severe memory loss..simple word finding is difficult.. I have had major hair loss (clumps of hair falling out when wash my hair) and worst of all can not have orgasm because of this drug!!! I am titrating down now becuase side effects are not worth the minimal pain relief I am getting from this drug for fibromyalgia! ## Hello, Kelly! How are you? I am very sorry about the problems that you're having. Similar things have happened to others that have taken Lyrica. However, I do want to caution you to be very careful, when tapering off of it, because stopping abruptly could create the risk of seizures. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I am a male who has ha...
I found the same one lying around and compared it to meds in their correct bottles. This one is a "Premier Pain Reliever Acetaminophen, USP 500mg" ## Hi Victoria, Thanks for sharing this important information on the pill ID. I was just curious to find out if you knew who the manufacturer was? Details on this tablet seem to be rather sparse. Is it a product of the US? I did do some digging around and located a 500mg Acetaminophen liquid solution with the words "Premier Value" standing before it - though it was reportedly labeled by Chain Drug Consortium LLC and made by Aurohealth - So I don't know if there's any connection between the tablet and solution in that regard...
What is difference between yellow pill that says watson on one side and 853 on other compared to yellow pill that has a v on one side and 3601 on other? ## There is no difference in the active ingredients, they are just manufactured by different companies They both contain 10mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen, generics for Vicodin, this is a narcotic pain reliever. Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. You can read more here: Did you have any other questions? ## There are many kinds of vicodin, I believe the best would be norco. The best I think is an off yellow color that reads Watson 853. Other very good ones are Watson 385 which are 7.5 hydrocodone 500 acetonenophen, m360 7.5/700, m358 7.5/500, v3601 10/325, m367 10/325 just to n...
Is it safe to take (2) tramadol + tylenol #3 together? What would happen? Will I need to go to the doctor? ## @Worried In Texas, If this drug combination and dosage is more than you're prescribed, I think it would be best to discuss it with your doctor first. According to the University of Maryland Medical Center, there is a high potential for drug interactions between Tramadol and the Codeine present in Tylenol #3. They go on to state the following: "Treatment with both codeine and this drug may increase the risk of certain serious side effects. Using codeine together with this drug is usually not recommended, but may be required in some cases. If you are already using both medicines together, your doctor may change the dose or how often you use one or both of the medicines. Ca...
So I heard on the news yesterday that the FDA WANTS to stop production of Endo's Opana. Now my question is are they also gonna make IMPAX/Global to stop production on their generic oxymorphone too? Or is this aimed directly at Endo? I have a script right now that I can't fill for another 2 and a half weeks. What's gonna happen when I bring it in to get filled? It's written as oxymorphone ER NOT OPANA is that gonna matter or am I screwed? Plus on a side note if I would have to get it changed (my script). Would it be too much to ask my Doc to write for 100mg MS Contin or is that too big of a jump from the oxymorphone 30mg ER that I've been getting for a year now? I only ask that because every other milligram of MS CONTIN does not work for me. Only the 100's do anyt...
I was prescribed Lyrica today. Being the impatient person that I am, I was wondering the normal lenth of time before the medication starts working. ## It took a week for me. What were you prescribed Lyrica for? I started taking it after surgery on my cervical spine and for some reason started having panic attacks or something, dizziness and heart racing, only at night when trying to rest. After being on Lyrica for a week, those symptoms stopped, (not sure why or how it worked). I am now having low back problems and those symptoms have started again, so as of today they have increased my dose of Lyrica. I sure hope it works. ## Depending on the severity of your pain and your own metabolism, it can take anywhere from a week to a month to see results from this. ## I was put on Lyrica recen...
I wear 125 micrograms duragesic Fentanyl patch that I change every 72 hours. I also take 15 milligrams of Oxycodone every 4 hours for breakthrough pain as needed. I'm taking one milligram of Xanax twice a day. I had a urine test on Friday and my urine was clean. I wear urostomy bags on my legs so my urine goes directly from my kidneys in a tube down to my legs. Every morning I flush the tube from my kidney to the bag with saline solution after I drain the bag which I did 20 minutes before I was urine tested. I have also been on Lasix, a diuretic that was increased to double the amount due to excess swelling for three days before and including the day the urine test was done. Could this be the reason my urine was clean even though I took my meds the way I was supposed to? Please help...
So i'm prescribed hydrocodone 5/325. My husband's prescribed 7.5/325. I had the flu really bad and I took 2 of his pills on accident. I took a UA about 2 or 3 hrs later. Every time I test It comes back that I've taken morphine because my body breaks it down that way. But will the two I took come up showing that I took different pills? ## It may come up with you having more in your system that you're suppose to. If you took two 7,5 mg, it could show up as you having 15 mgs in you system instead of the 5 mg that you're prescribed. ## And it is completely normal normal for it to come up as Morphine on some tests, since they metabolites it is broken down into are very similar. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side e...

I recently had a urine screen. I am on suboxone and it came back positive for benzos and i haven't taken any. I am on lamuctal 200 mg twice a day and balcofen for muscle spasms, and ibuprofen. That's it. They sent it to be tested again and this is what the report says: GE use only - for LinkLogic import when terms are not otherwise specific drug screen, urine, qualitative. 8/20/15 pass no benzos. Looking for ky pharmacy to fill tn prescription for oxycodone 20 mg any suggestions ## It is very unlikely that you're going to find one that will fill an out of state prescription. Pharmacies are limited on how much they can stock of any controlled substance each month, which has caused many of them to have to limit their customer base to only patients whose homes and doctors are all located within a certain radius, so they can easily verify the validity of the prescription, if needed. This medication carries the risk of being habit forming and it may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Does anyone have any suggestions or ideas that may help? ## I have multiple sclerosis fell backwards hit my back I had 4 back surgeries o...

If it has been sent off to lab, there is a greater chance that they will detect it. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. When will you hear about...
