I recently went to CVS and forgot that they use some sort of generic for lortab called, well, I call it "Mallencrock (crock-o-crap). I have a refill. Can I go in and ask that they not make me pay for something I can't stand and doesn't work for me, and that I would like to have Lortab/Watson brand? ## There have been many complaints about the products manufactured by Mallinckrodt. Yes, you can ask them ahead of time if they have a different one in stock to fill your prescription, though it may be more expensive. If they don't, or won't order it in for you, you could always see about transferring your prescription elsewhere. So, I'm in a big big dilemma. For my own security and well being, I MUST come off my Fentanyl transdermal patch. I've Been using 50mcg/72 hours for about 6 mths straight. I have 3 of the 50mcg patches left and 4 of the 25mcg to help me taper off. I will no longer be using them anymore, just Norcos or oxymorphone IR. I'm absolutely terrified of withdrawals. My doc who put me on them has No idea what it's like to come off like this. Can someone please tell me if and how bad the withdrawals from going down that much will affect me? I can not take any benzos (Ativan, xanax, etc). I have come off the oxymorph about 75% in the last 2 mths. I'm literally freaking out. Again, I'm terrified but HAVE to do this for at least another 7 months. Any help would be appreciated. ...

We found a bottle with two 15mg of oxycodone and two 80mg of oxycontin. Our friend had passed away and no one is sure why. Recently the doctor prescribed morphine 15mg ER which was too strong and made me so incredibly sick. I've tried everything else on the marked, but those made me "deathly ill" as well. He then changed me to 15mg Morphine IR 4 times a day, and it usually always lasts about 4 hours until the burning pain in my back returns. Yesterday I only took one tab, and was fine all day, but this morning the burning pain is back with a vengence! Will I get better constant pain relief taking 4 a day whether I feel I need them or not? I simply just need a new spine, but that isn't possible of course and trying to figure out if morphine IR is cumulative in the body, and therefore I should take the 4 a day whether I feel I need it or not. October 2014... There are fake Percocet 10's going around with the marking 10/325 on one side and m523 on the other. I don't know what they are, but they are NOT percocets. I have been taking them for 12yrs and I know just by tasting one that it is not Percocet. Be carefully... U may think it's not possible but it is. ## Where did you get them? ## @Shun, The markings you described are listed as that of being legitimate Percocet. But by saying that they aren't anything like what you're used to getting, it's easy for one to assume that you're not getting them from a legitimate source. I need help identifying a pill. It’s oblong with G 2 printed on it and nothing else. It’s a rust color. Sort of reddish brown. The G and 2 appear to have a space in between them. ## Hi Lou, Any chance that this could be Ibuprofen 200mg? There's a round reddish/brown pill with G 2 on it that's Ibuprofen 200mg as well as an oblong reddish/brown pill with I - 2 on it that is the same thing. The manufacturer of the round pill is Rugby Laboratories and the manufacturer of the oblong pill is Major Pharmaceuticals. So far, I've yet to come across anything else that's remotely similar in description, but hopefully this can at least help to narrow down some prospects.

I have cancer and was prescribed to take 3 pills every three hours. By mistake I took 4 pills thinking they were 1 mg and they are 2 mg. That's not an inordinately high dosage, but if you aren't opiate tolerant, it could cause problems or overdose. Did you suffer any ill effects? After many years of back and knee pain with no success on codeine and panadol for pain relief. I changed my dr and he has put me on tramadol 50 to 100 3 times daily, relief was amazing I feel a different person after one week. I do see many people trying to get off the drug on here. But if it was working for you with pain relief why not just stay on it. I am 77 years old so don’t think addiction would be a worry. How do I avoid the horrible nausea and vomiting from my 30mg ER morphine pills prescribed to me. It is causing this on a weekend and no offices are open or available other than the ER, which this is not a real emergency. ## Hello, Kelly! How are you? Sorry about the problem that you're having. Have you tried taking them with food, or milk? In many cases that can help, because they can be very rough on an empty stomach. ## How can I stop the dizziness? I can't get it to stop. I've been taking 30mg for lower back pain. ## Take it with gravol. Gravol is an antiemetic which helps deal with balance and could help with dizziness.

I am out of my prescription for hydrocodone, but I also have tramadol. We moved from Connecticut down to Florida, with medical charts in hand. We were told in Connecticut that we could go into any CVS/Walgreens stores to refill prescriptions, as it's a universal drug store. Now, I know the Duragesic Patch cannot be refilled through the system and must be handwritten and handed to the pharmacist. We complied with those rules (Florida having many!). We went to CVS, they looked up my mother's record and saw that she indeed has the Duragesic Patch. I handed them the script and it took them 10 long days to get it in. We then decided after that experience we would use Walgreens down the road from our home. I had extremely high blood pressure so my doctor put me on an extra blood pressure pill. I was on 5 30mg of oxycodone ir after doing some reading after you have more than 120mg in your system the rest is not helping you it's just loading your system up and your asking for long term problems my dr. Has since put me on 3 30mg oxycodone and one 30mg morphine extended release for nighttime and that seems to be the magic for me, it helps the hard pain during the day and at night lets your system calm down when I'm sleeping. ## even though oxycodone is 1.5 x stronger than morphine, if you take an equivalent dose of mophine sulfate (90 m. vs. 60 oxy), will you still develop the same tolerance/addiction/dependency from the morphine as from the oxycodone? ## Great Gw! People, I've worked for Actavis for years and I can tell you we're simply complying with the ACA regulations imposed to pharmaceutical medicine. Yes, the formulation was changed but it was only changed to leverage a longer carbon base on the cytochrome P450 enzyme to prevent it from metabolizing into hyrdromorphone in the liver. But other than that, our new formulation's chemical structure is identical to you've been getting. If you want proof then please ship off samples to private labs for testing.
