I have been taking Hydrocodone/Ibuprofen 7.5-200mg tabs for over 10 years now for chronic pain from having my jaw smashed & back broken. The past two months I have received a different generic from Wallgreens with Actavis as the manufacturer and THEY DO NOT WORK. Absolute crap!! I tried taking more to get the same normal affect and now I have had nothing but major stomach issues and ears ringing. I am going to my Dr on Monday to discuss!! This is ridiculous!! I am going to report to FDA and wallgreens headquarters!! Please let me know if anyone else feels this way?? I recently lost my doctor of 20 yrs. and am now trying to find a doctor who understands pain and is willing to prescribe pain medication ## I just moved to the columbia missouri area and am in search of a doctor. I am truly concerned about all of the people who are chronic pain sufferers who are unable to find satisfactory treatment. Several years ago, after 20 years of taking all of the usual pain meds, I stumbled across the "Spinal Chord Stimulator" and the "Morphine Pain Pump". I have had a pain pump over a year now and it has truly changed my life. Of course, like every new pain treatment, they were only used on cancer patients, etc. But they are being used now for chronic pain sufferers who have a definable, (diagnosed by reputable Dr's) untreatable pain source. I have been Oxycodone 40 mg on a year. Morphine 30 about 4 months. drugstore would only fill oxycodone so had to take morphine to different drug store ...now they have decided not to fill? I am in Houston & have terminal disease and been on hydrocodone 10-325 & fentanyl patch for years. Picked up prescriptions today and Walgreens filled fentanyl patch but says No one has hydrocodone? Said it was manufacture? They gave me no options, tried a private pharmacy and got no where. Is there anything anybody knows ## @Dsh, Sorry to hear about your situation. I TAKE MORPHIN/OXYCODONE/TRAMADOL/ZANX I TOOK A PISS TEST AND IT SAID I HAD HEROIN IN MY SYSTEM ALONG WITH THE OTHERS. I TOOK NO HEROIN. HOW DID IT COME BACK AS HEROIN. NOT ONCE BUT TWICE... ## Oxy is synthetic heroin. Oxy is made from morphine ## Sorry, the answer above is wrong. Oxycodone is NOT made from morphine! It's a synthetic drug. Heroin will show up as morphine on drug tests because your body will breakdown the heroin into morphine within 24 hrs of using (approximately). The only way H would show up AS heroin on a drug screen would be to use and be tested within that 24hr period. You said you are already on morphine. If you are using H, get some help to stop. I am on methadone and I have to give 2 urine samples a week..fentanyl doesn't even show up as an opiate in my urine when I have relapsed. I have sucked on a piece of a 100 mcg patch (NEVER do THIS it's extremely dangerous)..I have used the patch as prescribed amd it doesn't show in urine tests. ## Yes, on a test that looks for the specific drug, rather than just the presence of opiates, it should be detected as Fentanyl and its metabolites and not anything else. There are several that could be considered to be a peach color and are listed as containing 15mgs. Just as an example, one has the marking 113 on it and is manufactured by Mylan Pharmaceuticals. I too, went to get my monthly refil of oxycodone at Walgreens. None available. My pain pills are the only thing that allows me to lead a normal life; one without terrible, crippling pain. IF ANYONE HAS SUFFERED A NERVE PALSY OF ANY KIND AROUND THE TIME YOU WERE TAKING LYRICA; IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO CONTACT ME {edited for privacy}. I think everyone should get as close to accurate representation of my experience. Compared to the mallinkrodt 15 mg oxycodone there is a huge difference. This is for chronic pain issues and the new KVK-t do not help one bit. Can anyone let me know what is going on? Dec. 12, 2011 ## This tablet does contain 15mgs of Oxycodone, but there can be slight variations in the amount of active ingredients in the generics, so you may not be getting the exact same dose that you are used to and it may not work as well for you. I took 1 10mg oxycodone on sunday @ 5pm[was prescibed btw] and it showed up in my urine test monday @ 7pm. I have another urine test tuesday morning, will it still show up.?! I havnt taken anything else but that 1 pill in over 7 months, I am not active and weigh 270lbs. I did take 4 stacker 3s and I am drinking tea.
