As to your question, Oxycodone is one and half times stronger than Morphine. So, if you were taking 30mgs of Oxycodone, you'd need 45mgs of Morphine to be an equivalent dose. My husband is taking various medications for hypertension and cholesterol; he has also been prescribed Paracetamol for arthritic pain. However, he complains that if he takes Paracetamol it makes him sleepy and also causes retching (bile). So, each store is raising the price, not the manufacturer. Go to the small private pharmacies. I've been told they will have the medication in stock. They can set their own limit on the amount they keep in stock. Last time I went to fill my medication, they were on backorder. I checked 6 stores that were close and they had none. I had to drive a half hour to get it filled. Today, it was triple the price. I have been on Tylenol 3's x 3- 4 tablets a night to be able to sleep through the night without waking in pain. I have been on this for 3 years and worried about the long term effects on my kidneys I am diabetic type 2 with severe neuropathy in feet and hands and also I have a smashed elbow resulting in a plate with 20 screws and a rotary unit (?) which is scheduled for a 2nd surgery in 3 weeks. I had a total shoulder replacement and my doctor gave me Percocet to go home with. They immediately took the pain away for about 4-5 hours. Ive been battling the monster methadone for about 3 years now and I'm sick of it. I tapered down to 20mg a day and ran out. After trying elimodrol and withdrawal ease supplements and feeling OK for the first 2 days, I thought cool I will be OK. Hell no, day three my body told me that stuff ain't doing anything. I had a bottle of tramadol so I took about 250 mg and after 30 min I noticed I was sitting still and not wanting to jump out of my skin. WOW. So now I've been doing the same for 4 days and still alright. Is it too good to be true? Am I just trading one for the other or can it really help?
