I have a bulging disc and go to Kelsey Seybold as part of my insurance plan. I took ultram or ultracet for 18 years whenever I needed pain medicine cause I couldn't function on Vicodin or the other hydrocodones. I never had a problem with it, I took it as needed and that was that. Now that they made it a narcotic because some people did get addicted to it???? I weight about 100 pounds, I've been taking left over 15mg of morphine for my back for about a week and a half now (just once a day). But I have a job interview coming up and I'm pretty sure they will give me a paper for a urine test (as do most jobs). I just want to know which drug works the best Oxycodone or Morphine. I was switched from Oxy to Morphine. Was taking Oxy 10/325 and now take 30 mg of the Morphine. ## Hi, Jojo! Hello. I would like some help figuring this out. If I take 10/325 Norco, how many milligrams is it? 10? 100? 1000? ## To answer your question, 10/325 Norco contains 10 mg Hydrocodone (as well as 325 mg Acetaminophen, the active ingredient in Tylenol). capsule is divided- one side red with 5 on it & one side light blue with L on it. The inside has a grey casing. ## This capsule contains 500mgs of Acetaminophen, which is a generic for Extra Strength Tylenol in an immediate release formulation. pain patch ## I'm sorry, did you mean Fentanyl? It is an opiate narcotic that is over 81 times stronger than Morphine, it is used to treat severe, intractable pain. The FDA warns that it carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth.

i started 3 months ago taking teva's vicoprofen before having steroid injections (back and hip)...taking 2 daily split in half didn't want to be taking more than necessary to kill pain all was fine....pain wise.....injections did not last for me but a few weeks....most pain is back so began taking 1 a day split and went to my pcp for other problem and she talked to me about staying out of pain longer so gave me enough for 2 a day so i would be out of pain thru the night instead of just while at work until i got the needed hip replacement which will be a while for i am trying other things to possibly avoid one........got them filled and noticed immediately i wasn't getting relief like i was and here i am taking more.....third day i happened to have my reading glasses on when ...

has anyone else had on going pins/a nd needles/tension/tremors after many weeks of detox? I was on 100mg fentanyl patch/benzos for spazms/and oxy 40mg a day for BT pain. I detoxed at Michaels House, which was a joke,a s they were very inappropriate for a medically dependent patient, not a street drug user. It's blank on one side and on the other it has "apap" and then "es" and at the bottom of it has a "y". What is this? ## I have not been able to find a positive identification for this, all I've found were other people looking for answers to this same question. But what I can say is the APAP is medical speak for Acetaminophen, which is the active ingredient in Tylenol, so this might be a generic for it. What the heck, guys?!?!? I've been prescribed the yellow, oblong Norcos 10/325 for years and years now (several different illnesses\conditions). All of a sudden I went to CVS and the pills they gave me were more or less, useless! They were white and smaller. They don't do anything to help my pain. This sucks! I called CVS and they said that the FDA passed a law stating no more "Norco" could be sold due to the rampant over-abuse. Great. Thanks a lot for those of us who really, genuinely needed that ONE MED that really actually worked and helped. I have been without my (valid) Oxycodone 30mg prescription for 4 weeks now because all of the pharmacies I've gone to in Altamonte Springs, Matiland, Ocoee and Winter Park (all in the Orlando, Fl area) do not have it and/or have not had it in stock for a while. My Dr. has written the prescription and I have authentic back and hip pain from a car accident that occurred 9 years ago, the same night my mother died of breast cancer at the hospital. Is the orange coating on my 60 mg morphine part of the extended release? If I wiped it off would it become immediate release? ## I really can't tell you anything about the time release mechanism that's used, without knowing the specific tablet you are talking about. Are there any markings on it, or do you know who the manufacturer is? Then again, that may also be moot, because it is not advisable to try and change how a medication is designed to work. ## To anyone wanting to remove the extended release film on any drug, you are asking for big trouble.
