Qualitest Vicoprofen ?

i started 3 months ago taking teva's vicoprofen before having steroid injections (back and hip)...taking 2 daily split in half didn't want to be taking more than necessary to kill pain all was fine....pain wise.....injections did not last for me but a few weeks....most pain is back so began taking 1 a day split and went to my pcp for other problem and she talked to me about staying out of pain longer so gave me enough for 2 a day so i would be out of pain thru the night instead of just while at work until i got the needed hip replacement which will be a while for i am trying other things to possibly avoid one........got them filled and noticed immediately i wasn't getting relief like i was and here i am taking more.....third day i happened to have my reading glasses on when i cut one i half and saw another number on one side and the v on the other so this was not all just in my head....huge difference in pain relief.....and total feeling of the qualitest brand....on the qualitest i get nausea and fogginess in brain....on teva's i do not and no nausea.....what is the difference in the two brands.....i thought all had to be made the same. i am not just a junkie looking for a high or i would not be cutting in half and could get written prescription for more by several physicians for my condition with the bad hip and no disc left at levels one and two and new bulging disc at level five and six and loss of bone....just waitng for this month to run out of qualitest vicoprofen so i can get teva's

Just doing some research on what I experienced and I see you had the exact same reaction. My doctor said it was some additive use by the company. It sucks to think I almost stopped taking the medication due to horrible nausea that would not go away.

Can you both post back with the markings on the medication in question? This information is needed to enable someone to research more information for you. Can you please post and clarify?
