Oxycodone #15s are color coded which color is strongest... To be specific; Does any color contain more medicine ## Hello, King! How are you? Generic tablets are not color coded, the colors actually don't mean anything, they are entirely up to the whit and whim of the manufacturer. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. And any fluctuations are minimal and insignificant. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Well i have sort of the same kind of question about the 30mg oxycodones because I was taking the 20mg oxycodones np 14's for a few years and now my Dr increase me to 30mg oxycodones but the one's I got from th...
How much stronger is the percocet than the norco? ## Hello, April! How are you? For each 10mgs of Hydrocodone in the Norco, you only need 6.67mgs of the Oxycodone in the Percocet. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I hav been on norco tens four a day for two years. i hav become addicted. can i take a percocet ten mg to help withdraw symptoms ## Yes, any opiate medication will help with withdrawel. ## I'm so sorry to hear. What are the withdrawal symptoms like? Can you slowly decrease off so the withdrawals aren't as bad? ## You know I was taking norco10mgs 4times a day and the Dr changed to percocet 10mg3...

Found this in a coat pocket. Not sure what it is. It looks familiar but I have a bad memory. ## Is the marking possibly 44 over 183? If so, from what I can find, it is an over the counter tablet that contains 325mgs of Buffered Aspirin, which is commonly used to treat pain, fever, and headache. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, increased risk of bleeding, headache, and stomach irritation. Can you please double check and post back? Thank you!
Insurance made me switch over manufacturers from Amneal (600mg Ibuprofen) to Dr. Reddy's (600mg Ibuprofen). What is the difference, if any? Does one have more fillers? Is one a sodium ibuprofen and one standard, absorbed faster etc? Thanks. ## They both contain the same active ingredient, they are just manufactured by different companies. The FDA lists the typical side effects of Ibuprofen as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, stomach irritation, and increased risk of bleeding. How is the new tablet working for you?
I had been getting pregabalin 50 mg filled from a Canadian pharmacy, but they said they will substitute Maxgalin 50 mg because they are out of the pregabalin. Is there a difference? ## No, Maxgalin is just a Canadian brand name for Pregabalin. The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, fluid retention, mood swings, and weight changes. Are you on any other medications?
What is this pill? Can anyone identify it for me? I found it while unpacking boxes. It was in a small baggie by itself. ## Qualitest Pharmaceuticals lists this tablet as being a Q-Pap Extra Strength Tablet, which contains 500mgs of Acetaminophen, a generic, or store brand of Extra Strength Tylenol. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, headache, stomach irritation, and dizziness. Is there anything else I can help with?
I have noticed some pills have indentations and others don't. Specifically, why is that? Someone told me if it didn't have an indentation, it was not meant to be cut. They said that each half may not contain equal amounts of the actual drug that does the work, i.e. one half may contain 72 mg and the other half only 28 mg. Is this true? ## Generally, if a pill is not scored (indented) it is not meant to be broken or cut. That's not always the case though. Some indented pills can be cut or broken in half. As a general rule you NEVER want to cut/break something that is extended release. As far as there being a difference between how much medication is in each half of a pill... I couldn't say for sure. Usually if a pill is scored it should be the same in each half/section. H...
Hi! Quick run down. I have been an addict for 15yrs. I was taking 25/10mg lortabs. I know that's not the worst there is at all but an addicts an addict, unfortunately. Now for the past 3yrs I have been on Suboxone and. during that time my original fybromialgia diagnoses turned to be actually lupus I also have many problems w my back, siatic included. All this pain was breaking through the suboxone, I know sounds impossible to some but it was. And to top off, my Sub Dr left his practice. So i figured subs weren't helping my pain and I felt strong enough and my life is great so I got off subs, opposed to a very expensive I am now being seen at PM. Dr prescribed me 10mg oxycodone.. it's a joke, because subs are extremely potent. I tried to get onto PM again (early) and if cours...

How are you feeling? Those can be withdrawal effects, according to the FDA, but they usually only last for a week, or two. Since it's been over 2 and half months, I highly doubt you're still experiencing withdrawal effects. Are yo...
No worries people, the yellow 853 are exactly the same as the white one's, JUST NO DYE ## For anyone else wondering, I can also confirm that "dye" is the only thing separating these two pills. According to nih.gov, the 10 mg/325 mg and 10 mg/750 mg tablets include "D&C Yellow #10 Aluminum Lake" You can learn more about this drug on the page for Acetaminophen + Hydrocodone I hope this helps! ## Well, jbone & David, I can't see why so many, myself included, have had such ad reactions to the white Watsons. I don't take narcotics often but I did for 11 years. I have never had this type of problem with hydrocodone as I did last week! It didn't touch my pain at all and it made me very sick! Something is going on with them, most definitely! ## There is s...
I currently take hydrocodone 5mg 4x, albuterol inhaler, ranitadine, vistaril, chantix, mobic, gabapentin and i have a medical marijuana card. I was recently on doxycycline, and nizoral cream. I'm also a caretaker for someone. I handle their medication on an almost daily basis. I went to my doctor and she said i tested positive for oxycodone....there has to be some mistake. Could i have absorbed any from handling the medication ## No, you shouldn't absorb enough for it to be detectable on a drug test, since the tablets are coated. It was more than likely just caused by the Hydrocodone you are taking, if the doctor is using a less expensive, non-certified test. Semi-synthetic and synthetic opiates are well known to cause false positives for their relatives on those types of tests ...
My docs office sent in my prescription for 10 oxycodone. Walmart says they are waiting for prior authorization. From my insurance? What if that is not given? Would the pharmacy allow me to pay out of pocket? Or is that considered addict behaviour? This is not a med I'm trying to fill early. ## Yes, you should be given that option, as long as you aren't trying to get it early, which you have already stated you are not doing. My husband was recently out of a medication, and they said our insurance said it wasn't time for a fill, yet, but we were welcome to purchase as much as he needed, out of pocket, to make sure he didn't run out, until they authorized it. Unfortunately, sometimes, insurance companies can be very strict about prior authorization, and not take into accoun...

My primary care physician said I need to start getting my medication from a pain management Doctor as he is not willing to prescribe for more than 2 months. Can anyone here refer me to a good doctor? I have tried a spinal inj. and had a moderate allergic reaction to it (hives, sweats, nausea). ## I need a good pain doctor in Orlando. I have a few bad disks and the national pain institute wasn't working for me. I was just someone to gain money off of. I travel for work often and it would be nice to have a script to get by, but long term I need to be fixed. Anyone have any suggestions that can help? ## I too had issues with NPI. Did you find another PM doctor that was able to help you?
My pharmacy says they don't have Tylenol 4s, haven't had any in weeks and don't know when they will get anymore. It's Walgreens, what is up with that? Is there a generic Tylenol 4 shortage? ## Shortages occur frequently, sadly enough. Have you checked with any other pharmacies in your area? The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming, and it may cause side effects, such as nausea, drowsiness, dizziness, constipation, and headache. ## I am having the same problem with my prescription of Tylenol 4. Walgreens is out, CVS is out too. I called at least a half dozen pharmacies. All without any luck. Walgreens says they are back ordered until at least mid March of 2018. I cannot find any info on the internet about this shortage. I finally found so...
Hi all. I have intractable pelvic RSD, peripheral neuropathy, lumbar facet spondylosis. I live in California and am about to have to change insurances at the end of this month. The new insurance has ridiculously high Rx prices. I go to a PM for all my pain meds, but my primary dr has in the past managed them for me. My question is if anyone knows if I get an Rx for the 60mg Oxycontin twice a day like usual from my PM and then my primary to write a script for 40mg 3 times a day and then I can go to 2 totally different pharmacies and fill one with my insurance and the other at another pharmacy and pay with cash, will that flag the DEA and cause my PM to get a notification of "Doctor shopping"? I am just trying to have enough meds to get me through an extra month until my husbands ...
PAIN ## Tramadol is used for treating moderate to moderately severe pain. The drug has a wide range of applications, including treatment for restless leg syndrome, acid reflux, and fibermyosis. For information about this drug, please refer to the link below... If you have any more questions or concerns, please post back and I will be happy to help you. ## I have tried to stop tramadol 3 times for I want to not need it anymore. 12 hours from my last dose I get so ill and I get cramps in my chest so bad I feel like I am having a stroke or something bad is going on and isn't normal. I have had a couple of neck surgeries may need another and am waiting on 2nd hand surgery. My hand is killing me so I took a Naproxen 550mg and I was wondering if I can also take a Tylenol #4 at the same time. ## Hello, Tonya! How are you? I didn't find any problems or interactions listed between these two medications, so it should be fine, as long as your doctor approves. The FDA classifies Tylenol 4 as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. The typical side effects for Naproxen may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, increased risk of bleeding and stomach irritation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## For severe back & hip pain, can I take...
