All medications containing Propoxyphene were removed from the market several years ago, due to the risk they caused of cardiac dangers, as well as an inordinate number of overdose deaths. It's a dangerous medication to take. If you have chronic pain you have to have a pain reliever. I got them one time and after a day of using them with absolutely no results or relief I went back to the pharmacist who of course told me it has the same ingredients as any other oxycodone but that is a lie. I found some capsules, they are white with grey caps, there are no numbers, letters or markings of any kind. Lately it seems like everywhere I go to get my norco 7.5 filled lately, I get those horrible white pills (not sure of the manufacturer). They seriously make me feel ill! I am new and not sure if this is the right place to ask but I am very concerned at the moment. I found pills in my son's room and have searched and searched but cannot identify them. I have asked around and I have been directed here by some recommendations. They must be old pills or something. Where he got them I don't know yet. I have this white oval pill that has NC imprint and I was told it's Percocet 30mg but it kind of sound suspicious so please help ## One thing is for certain right off the bat, and that is there's no such thing as a 30mg Percocet tablet. The highest available dosage contains 10mg of Oxycodone + 325mg of Acetaminophen. I also haven't come across any specific details on a pill with that description, which makes me a little suspicious as well seeing that they lied and said it was a 30mg Percocet. If I were you I would throw the pill away and just be done with it. However a lab analysis would probably be your best bet for identifying its true contents. Please advise what brand names of narcotic pain meds are available in India for chronic pain. I.e. - Hydrocodone or percocet equivalent, etc. ## Just my opinion, but I would SERIOUSLY reconsider trying to get ANY kind of medicine from India or China, or anywhere else for that matter. I know you may be in pain, but you have NO IDEA WHAT you would really be getting. Think about it, and the Best of luck.

I recently took a scheduled urine drug screen for my pain management doctor. The results showed a false positive for both Restorin (unsure of spelling) and heroin. I have never had either of these drugs. I do take morphine daily, but I believe that my migraine medicine (Sumatriptan aka Imitrex) is responsible for the false positives. Since cdc mandated 90mg morphine or equivalent as daily max amount to be prescribed my pain management clinic has been reducing my pain meds..... i was receiving 75mcg patch & 6 hydrocodone for breakthru pain. First drop was to 50mcg & 6 remained same thats a major drop of like 80mg morphine equivalent if i remember right.... but wasnt drastic effects other than pain increase (over 15 years of pain medications experience) but following month dropped to 25 &12mcg patch & 7 hydrocodone but had major dizzy spell after being on my feet for awhile was like a major vertigo attack that lasted 30-45 minutes when mentioned to dr they started running tests after test, i told them it was from med cut but they wouldnt believe me. I took a drug test for employment & an oral swab was used. I do not use any illicit drugs but I was contacted & told my test came up positive for THC. I do know some people who use marijuana but I understand that it is very rare for a test to come up positive for second-hand smoke, especially with an oral swab b/c it is hard for them to detect marijuana to begin with. I take Ibuprofen at night. Could this have caused it? ## Ibuprofen has been known to cause a false positivr under certain circumstances. I had an appointment with PM Thursday, June 7. I called my PM and had my appointment moved up to Wednesday, June 6. I've been taking care of my Dad in Arkansas. I live in Tennessee. So I asked my doctor if she would put on the script fill today which was Wednesday. The reason was my Dad had passed away and I needed to get back to Arkansas. I have been struggling with chronic pain most of my life. I have been taking 3 60MG Extended Release Oxycontin tablets a day along with 3 30MG Oxycodone instant release for breakaway pain. After 3 years of the same dosage it's not working as well as it used to. So my doctor decided to change up the meds a bit. She gave me Morphine Sulphate 60MG ER twice a day and for the life of me I cannot feel this working. It's only been a day but usually I would have pain relief around 30-45 after taking the Oxycontin and then about 3-6 hours of relief. How is this Morphine twice a day at the same MG going to give me the same relief I was getting before AND was already struggling with hence the change to the Morphine?
