Darvon is not safe to take and the best thing to do would be to dispose of it.

All medications containing Propoxyphene were removed from the market several years ago, due to the risk they caused of cardiac dangers, as well as an inordinate number of overdose deaths. It's a dangerous medication to take.

The FDA lists this as having been a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

I have to laugh. Everyone hated Darvon. The minute its no longer available everyone wants them. Kinda of like proabition in the 1920's
