my mom has taken two 750 mg pills by accident. We are all worried and we don't know what to do. she says she's a bit dizzy and we don't know whether or not to go to the hospital. ## If you fear for someone's health or life, you should never wait for an answer on a website. Always contact poison control or your nearest Emergency Services to ask their advice and find out what you should do. That said, you didn't say how much Hydrocodone is in them, with the 750mgs of Acetaminophen, it is 7.5mgs or 10mgs. However, no, the amount she took isn't dangerous. She may experience more nausea, drowsiness and dizziness, than usual. How is she doing, now?

I recd a narcotic by dct's recommendation for migraines but forgot to tell my pain mng dct bc I haven't taken it. Will cvs report to my pain mng if they recd a 2nd narcotic called in? Am I in trouble? ## It isn't the pharmacy that does any reporting to anyone, it is actually the government, they keep track of all narcotic prescriptions. If they have reason to question why one narcotic was prescribed, when you already had something else, then they can and will get in touch with your doctors to check. I think your best bet in this situation is to honestly report it to your pain management doctor. Tell then you haven't taken it and let them check the number of pills in the bottle, if need be. They also may wish to run a drug test for further proof. Are there any questions o...

blue, rectangular ## Well, 10ml would be a fluid measurement, not the appropriate measurement for a tablet. That said, you haven't provided enough information for me to identify this and tell you exactly what you have. It is the markings on a tablet that identify it, not the shape and color, they don't actually mean anything. Are there any numbers or letters on the tablet?

what is the difference between the yellow dialudid and the white ones ## It depends which ones you are talking about, since the colors don't actually mean anything. However, there are some companies that make a generic version and they use different colors for their tablets, to make them easier to tell apart. Though it is the marking on the tablets that actually denote what they are and not the colors. For example: There are Hydromorphone tablets marked with an M on one side and a number designating the dosage on the other side, either a 2 or a 4, but they are both white tablets. There are also some that are blue, with an E 2 marking the 2mg and the same company has a beige one for the 4mg. There is another company that has a yellow tablet with the marking 7574 that is a 4mg tablet,...

ip or o/c what is different ## Did you mean the OP marking? The original Oxycontin manufactured by Purdue Pharma bore the OC marking, with a number designating the dosage on the opposite side. However, they have discontinued it and released a new formulation that is intended to help prevent abuse and it has an OP on one side, with the number designating the dosage on the opposite. Are there any questions or comments?

Baby born with many problems and hospital has induced a coma state with fentanyl. What other complications ca occur besides dependence? And is the addiction forever to the child? ## While it is generally safe, under a controlled medical setting, there is a rare chance that some complications can occur, such as permanent damage to the liver or kidneys. And no, the addiction would not be a permanent condition and the doctors will be able to taper the medication to prevent the worst of any possible withdrawal symptoms.

i was getting oxiconit 20 mg ,oc but my last 2 prescriptions was op,can my doctor prescribe only the oc brand ## The tablets marked with the OC were the original formulation, however, Purdue has replaced them with the new formulation that carries the OP marking, which are intended to help prevent abuse. So, no, there is nothing your doctor can do to stop you from receiving the Oxycontin OP, because the original formula is no longer being made. Are you having problems with the new formulation?

does tramadol have adverse reactions with the muscle relaxant baclofen if so what are the affects. my b/friend just took both he is in severe pain with his ribs, gout and a messed up knee, already having trouble breathing from the shifted ribs. can someone please help me. ## Has the same doctor prescribed both of these? The main problem with taking these two medications together is that they can both cause central nervous system depression and, when used together, the effect can be synergistic. This is not usually a terrible danger for most people, but does mean that they shouldn't be used together, without a doctor's supervision. Anyone that does so should know to watch for lowered blood pressure, sever dizziness and/or drowsiness and lowered heart rate.
