Can Your Doctor Prescribe Only Oxicontin Oc

i was getting oxiconit 20 mg ,oc but my last 2 prescriptions was op,can my doctor prescribe only the oc brand

The tablets marked with the OC were the original formulation, however, Purdue has replaced them with the new formulation that carries the OP marking, which are intended to help prevent abuse.

So, no, there is nothing your doctor can do to stop you from receiving the Oxycontin OP, because the original formula is no longer being made.
