Oxycodone 30mg Pain Clinics (Page 4) (Top voted first)

i have been having trouble getting a good dr who will write oxycodone 30 mg. my back has been broken before and i was going all the way to Florida (a 16 hour drive) just to get my meds. So if anybody knows of any it would be helpful. i live in KY so as long as it is closer that's fine. Thank you.

To Over it - you got it. The law makers know it was a bad move but the KY medical board stands behind it because "too many people were overdosing on pain pills". I never heard of any. I do know that they are making meth like crazy but who is worried about that. It's easier to focus on legitimate doctors and patients with legitimate pain. Little bitterness here about the KY medical board. Doctor knows I need the meds; insurance doesn't care; pharmacist doesn't care but the medical board think they know my needs best.

I would like to take a minute to thank you and others like you from KY who by driving down here to get meds, have screwed it up for legitimate chronic pain care patients like myself from getting our meds. I find it impossible to believe that anyone in so much pain that requires 30 mg. Oxycodone could stand a 16 hr. drive just to get medication.

They are taking are doctors away in Kentucky because of the drug addicts using opiates and od-ing. They have needle exchanges for these people which is a crox. This is all a ploy to force us to go to the methadone clinic so the government can get there cut of the money. we as pain patients did not create the opioid epidemic but we are the ones that are getting punished for it. bulls***

So true! No one should suffer unnecessarily!
I think all elected officials should have to be drug tested every three days; only the ones who really need drugs then can't have them...
Maybe then the Lobbiest may lose their "Porkers'" money and decent citizens can be helped with real pain relievers! It won't happen though.... Good luck all of you who truly suffer!

First of all 1 man can't judge another mans pain & I can tell folks quit a bit about pain but I want go there today. I'm here to tell all the i****s that are in pain that get there pain meds then sell then to all the junkies & kids that they are part the reason...for us that are in actual pain & need our meds & take them as prescribed...they are cracking down on meds & making it hard on all us that do things as we should because we don't want to loose the meds we actually need to help with pain. Folks your bodies may be damaged & hurting but your brains are fine so acknowledge that you are why the ones that do rite are suffering. So thanks to the drug seekers who don't want to work so they sell drugs & the f****d up junkies, we the people in serious pain that needs our s*** are suffering. Thank you

Currently it's the FDA putting this mandate out for 120 mg. morphine equivalent.

The key is physicians are terrified for this is NEW never happened so instead of "do no harm" we are all harmed irreversibly. Some of us may die. I may die and the best my other can do is file a fatality claim for my workers compensation (old employer) is at the bottom of what occurred in my case. What good is money to him a man who never married waiting in Australia for me to settle this old, old medical claim and come over NONE.

What do my grown children and grand kiddo's say when they grow up to learn that America is not the land of the free, that our Constitution is now a joke; that some minority leader who came in gratis (no brains a true wannabe could I be would I be socialist) only to have government without MEDICAL licensure behind it SUPPORT street addicts abusing our medications?

The government should be arresting those who abuse these prescription drugs. That includes (and throw away the key) those who prop their physicians for higher dosages and sell their medications; they are the worst to hit the streets yet. NO excuse for this not a one. Next in line are family members who abuse the pain medications of their invalid or terminal family members; suddenly becoming attentive and pushing their physicians to write MORE AND MORE so now we have two family members tolerant to ONE's prescription medications. One legitimate and one an addict. Last should be purported DEA and other LE officials who are allowed to obtain dirty MRI's and take classes on what pain is and how to emulate it in order they falsely walk into physician's offices with FALSE records and symptoms to obtain medications to trick physicians. Remember and this may have gone up; a physician hit by the DEA must come up with $1,000,000 within 24 hours of charges, and this is never returned it is kept in the DEA where they likely use this to fund further witch hunts on innocent physicians.

I hate to say this but MANY of our disorders (RSD for example) are 88 x worse pain then end stage cancer (McGill research records Canada), and also along with this fact WE DO NOT GET TO DIE of our pain we are forced to live with it.

Scientific research has shown repeatedly that opioids for intractable pain are the safest medications for treating long term pain that is nonmalignant (you won't die from). Statistics also show less divorce, less loss of work and so forth due to opioids.

The side effects we also cry over and I cry too for I do have no time to replace Dr. Famous I am down so low (after 10 months my friends of having put aside medications as he taught us to do) and on so low a dosage that ALL HE DID to prove me the MIRACLE lab rat in his research is forever gone. I will never stabilize again; at best a sympathetic physician may write what I've gotten myself down to NOW, and that will never stabilize me. I am house bound (again), cannot imagine having to travel to a physician (but due to my rare case may have to), and workers compensation literally paid investigators, and attempted to take my life (we have proof) and not even the Judicial court system in the state where my claim is out of can do a thing. I won against them in August and still have no panel, and they were told by a Judge to get one within 30 days. So I get my own; easier said then done. I purposely am not sending the worst of my records because under Odumma I am the type of case most physicians are afraid to treat now--if I sent them my old prescriptions they would s*** their shorts and will anyhow--it is amazing I have lived through all I have and had the courage, strength, and ability to write referrals for over 10,000 pain patients world wide including some countries where opioids are NOT allowed--but the few with money were able under my guidance to get a home in another country (England) where I arranged pain management there.

My voice is growing softer by the day. I urge all of you to stand your ground because this is a result of the person you elected in D.C. I predicted the opioid shortages he arranged to DRIVE THE PRICE OF OPIOIDS to 10 x what they were just a few years ago. There were no shortages there was only the DESIRE to raise prices and also write cash incentives to physicians to STOP TREATING chronic illness. Physicians already are being offered huge checks to stop treating chronic illness. You could walk into a physicians office and find suddenly he or she does not want to treat your diabetes with insulin but only diet. If you just happen to die it fits the plan. I am sorry people it is up to all Americans to rid ourselves of this plague for he is behind what those in intractable pain now suffer. He is our worst disease my friends.

My name is Robert I hate to say but a surgeon told me to find a Good DR not a pill mill to prescribe my pain meds I require 3 one is opana 40 mg 2 times a day two flricet w CODINE for break thru and migraine head ake I had a Very Good DR in Rustburg VA I was given to her when my friend and Best DR passed away well I had been a patient there since about 1990. All it took was the DEA CONtacting her and I guess they threatened her License because she told me I was not going to like what she had to say that after September 8 2015 I have not had a DR the dam DEA SHOULD NOT BE MESSING WITH A DR PAITENT RELATIONSHIP WITHOUT THAT MOST PRIMARY TRUST THERE IS NO RELATIONSHIP WHICH YOU NEED TO FEEL FINE CONFIDING IN A OTHER PERSON. I am very sorry to see what has happened to our USA and it bothers me to know they are doing this coast to coast most DRs are NOT going to write a Human anything I think the Govt should take there thumb off the Scale.

I live near Somerset Ky. I have got several things going on with my back, shoulders, and legs. I have degenerative disc disease, arthritis, nerves damage, bulging and herniated disc, and narrowing of the spine. I have several MRI to validate. I was seeing a Dr for years that had recently retired. The Dr that took his patients doesn't write pain medication. I refuse to be poked on with injections. Does anyone know of any pain management that takes Medicaid, taking New patients and prescribe pain medicine? Please , I need help.

I live in Ky all my life never ask no for nothing but back in July I had major back surgery fission s5 to l1 my surgerion gave me pec 30 for six month then sent me to a pain center an all they would give lortab 5 that bushill I lost 2 in on left leg now left knee whet out I need a dot or bad I lost all my movement just lay around ever day in chronic pain just lay an cry not know what to do I need help bad

I would love to have your number to get referred to a good doctor. my family doctor wants me to go to a pain clinic but I don't know of any good ones, I live in eastern ky but don't mind to travel to see a good doctor. PLEASE HELP Thanks

Hey Josh I would really appreciate the information on the doctors in Heflin, Al and Jackson or Jacksonville, al. I live in Huntsville, al. Been without a doctor for 4 months. With the holidays coming and family coming to stay with me I really need to find a doctor fast. I'm just staying in bed now and I no this is making me worse but I can't take the pain. I have missed holidays once before cause I was in bed with tremendous pain and no doctor. I have a daughter and her dad died on Christmas Day a few years ago and I really need to be there for her. The holidays are miserable enough thinking about my late husband not being here oh heck I could go on and on I'm just at my witts end. Please help

I want all chronic pain sufferer's to know in TN there's NO LAW OR GUIDELINES FOR PAIN MANAGEMENT DRS OR CLINICS TO CUT MEDICATION & THE BOARD ADMINISTRATOR OF PAIN MANAGEMENT FROM TN DEPT OF HEALTH TOLD ME THIS. I got tired of Drs saying we gotta cut your meds that's the new law, guidelines, or policy, so I did research & found out that they're ONLY FOR PCP DRS THAT PRESCRIBE PAIN MEDS. They (PCP) can prescribe up to 120mg M.E.D.D a day (which means morphine equivalent daily dose) now all pain meds are compared to morphine, & if a patient needs more than 120mg medd a day they can continue to write their meds but MUST SEND THEM TO A PAIN DR 2 TIMES A YR FOR CONSULTATION. BUT PAIN DRS CAN PRESCRIBE WHATEVER THEY FEEL NECESSARY WITH NO LIMITS! So all this we gotta cut you is BS but the DEA is coming down on the Drs saying they want oxycodone prescriptions cut & certain mg are not supposed to be written. Anyone can Google MEDD CALCULATOR & check to see where they are or what they used to get bc a 30mg oxycodone = 45mg morphine so if u get 4 a day that's 180 MEDD.

THIS INFO SHOULD MAKE PAIN SUFFERERS & THE LOVED ONES THAT HAVE TO WATCH THEM LIVE IN THIS PAIN MAD AS HELL!!! I know for me I was at 360 & now 225 medd & need helpers bc I can't do for myself now. Who is the GOVERNMENT to say how much pain we live in?? I know alot are like me & feel sad, anger, nervous, depressed, humiliated, hopeless, helpless & some suicidal bc we can't get our normal medication. I've even spoke w/ my psychiatrist & pain Dr about medicinal marijuana & both said it helps w/ pain, anxiety, & numerous other conditions. Well if it does why isn't it legal? Bc big pharma can't make $$ off it yet. So I urge chronic pain patients & their caretakers & loved ones to contact your representatives, senators, governor etc & let them know your tired of being told u have to live in pain! Also check out SAFE ACCESS - they're advocates fighting for legalization of medicinal marijuana & they need help. Legalization is supposed to be voted on in TN in January 2018. I just thought ppl needed to be informed. If your in another state call your state Dept of health & ask for the person over pain management clinics & find out your state's info. GET INFORMED SO YOUR NOT PUSHED AROUND! LETS MAKE A STAND & TAKE OUR LIVES BACK!!

Missyinpain is right about everything. CPS treated me like a junkie and same as called me a liar, humiliated the he** out of me. Wrote me 60 (15 days) 10 mg oxycodone, when I went for fu I had 6 pills instead of 11, my bad cuz I shared with my boyfriend that was my fault, anyway I've tried other Drs till I got put on 7.5 hydrocodone 3 a day. I'm finally went to a clinic where NP started me off on 10mg tabs and referred me to another NP for anxiety. I didn't ask for either. She seems like she cares about ppl. I didn't have to tell her that my primary of 11 yrs took my meds from me and his other patients. Some of them do care. This was my last time trying to find a Dr to help me. I've only been once. All I needed was a list on paper of current meds. They seem to be understanding if you're honest. Union City Tn called Oasis pain treatment Clinic. I've cut my boyfriend off. I'm no longer living in my bed 24/7 and hopefully I'll get back on my oxycodone 10 mg 4 times a day like I was use to. Good luck

This the truth every since those dam pain clinics,and people trying to make a quick buck,I had to switch to Percocet or oxycodone with acetaminophen, and have been takeing it so long it barely helps or keeps me from withdrawal symptoms, I'm on disability and have MRI s etc,thanks to these situations most pharmacist just look at you like you have three heads,something needs to be done so that the people that are suffering don't have to because of the wrong people,I'm sure there ate people from all over that ate legit bit there has to be a answer very concerned. Where in Tennessee is this clinic at?

Plus you can use CBD oil - it's everything marijuana has except THC. And it's legal and even some pain Dr's are telling ppl to use it. It gives your body relief without a positive U/A. Google it.

That's another problem that needs to be resolved. People in today's world are not stupid. We should not have to play dump and beat around the bush hoping your doctor takes you serious. To be looked at as seekers is ridiculous when you know what works for you. There may be times that is true, but a doctor should know the difference.
