i have been having trouble getting a good dr who will write oxycodone 30 mg. my back has been broken before and i was going all the way to Florida (a 16 hour drive) just to get my meds. So if anybody knows of any it would be helpful. i live in KY so as long as it is closer that's fine. Thank you.

I am also from Ontario and was hit by a car a suffered multiple fractures.I am in a lot of pain. Could you please provide the name of your Doctor please?

We suffer from the very same ignorance in Canada. There is no worse feeling in ones life than.to be discarded as.a.drug seeking abuser! I have impressionble children and although they know what's what with me...it hurts me for them to what they have to go through watching me daily suffer and having difficulty just trying to get up from.a.chair. Then .ignorant people to look.down.upon me for needing not wanting medication just to cope and get through another day. Canada is definitely no better with some pharmacists. It's a humiliating and humbling feeling to have no.choice but to.face accusing eyes month after month. If there is something or someone I can.help with or contact this side of the border...I will be proud to assist and.hopefully gain some well.deserved dignity back. I have replaced 4 pharmacys in the past decade to fortunately just as recent as 4 months ago to find an.actual caring human being behind the counter....not a.judgemental piece of garbage that is just to eager to take my cash and call me a loser druggie once I.walk out their door. If.everyone suffered pain like ours just one.brief.moment of their life....maybe that's what it would take to find compassion in a judgemental world.

I don't know how many mgs u are prescribed in the USA, I believe that is very possible much less than Canada as well. As u mentioned...I.have needed my pain meds for.more than.a decade. Through tolerance of meds over the yrs and additional new pain such.as.arthrits and sciatica etc. I have been prescribed 60mgs four times.daily. At this point it just takes the edge off most daya. I am at double the recommended dose without being a cancer patient ...having said that I am.grateful that I am not suffering from cancer nnd my heart goes out to anyone with that horrible illness and their families. I don't know of any web based pharms in Canada or otherwise sorry..I.have fortunately never had to go that route. I am also grateful to have a medical marijuana license to consume and to produce. I don't like the buzz in my head although it does remedy my migraines most of the time.....so I don't use anywhere near what I am allowed to consume on a daily basis... for me less is more. I will ask around my.group.of friends and see for you if they are aware of any Canadian pharmacys for u. Good luck in the mean time.

I get oxycodone 15mg, & yes Dr. Reyes is accepting new patients, I would research the new laws first though, seems like I remember hearing you have to live within a certain distance of a doctor for them to write you a script for narcotics, I could be wrong though.

Go see Dr. Reyes, on Woodlawn Ave, if you've got copies of your tests take them if not he'll send you for MRI, he will also prescribe meds & refer you to PM, he's not a "pill doctor" but a wonderful doctor who actually cares about his patients & goes above & beyond to help them. The only bad thing is the wait when you get there, it's worth it, he spends as much time with each patient as they need, whether it's 10 minutes or an hour, so just be patient because he'll spend that time with you as well. Please provide the name of the Dr. in Atlanta and phone # please. or one in Florida preferably with their contact information.
I suffered over 17 fractured bones when I was hit by a car and local Doctors are afraid to prescribe the medication-Oxycodone or Ocycontin that I need to be free of pain. I am always in brutal pain please help me find a Dr.
Your help is appreciated as soon as possible.

Please let me know what I can do to get this started. I know exactly how you feel I have been going through the same thing and the last dr never even examined me. He was more curious about scratches I had on my hand from my kitten. I felt so disgusted and even his nurse was shocked that he told me to go to rehab for detox. If I could stop taking meds I would but I'm in to much pain and thats why I went to him was to get help not to be treated like a addict. He didn't know me how can they assume everyone is the same. Im tired of it and want something done. Please let me know how to help.

THANK YOU for writing about the Fight of Fights. Sure, people abuse these meds and the worst part is the Dr's who assume you are DRUG SEEKING when needing meds to move. I have other procedures as well done on my back, do adjunct therapies such as Chiropractic and Acupuncture in addition to many other things but the DEPRESSION AND ANXIETY I Feel around finding a new pain medicine doctor (mine is retiring) is Overwhelming!! I'm tired, so tried of the IGNORANCE of being treated like an addict!! Having dependence on a drug is neither addiction nor abuse. I worked as a Counselor in Addictions for 20yrs so I KNOW THE DIFFERENCE! I find in my area that people who become opioid dependent START with HEROIN and move on to pills NOT the other way around. It really makes me so mad. We must get literature put together, write our State and Federal legislatures, put petitions out for signing. Organize a non-profit group?? If anyone wants to help with this, please respond! Thanks All!

You are very lucky to live in Canada. It seems like the rules there on alot of things are alot better than in the states. I sell alot of gems to people there and everyone is so pleasant to work with. I would love to be able to aquire my meds as easy as that. There are alot of web-based pharmacys from canada that sell pain meds. do you know anything about any of them

It's different in Canada....specificly Ontario. I have had a prescription for oxys for more than 10 years now. I go to see my Dr. Every 3 mths to "renew" my script. That's it.

I would like to take a minute to thank you and others like you from KY who by driving down here to get meds, have screwed it up for legitimate chronic pain care patients like myself from getting our meds. I find it impossible to believe that anyone in so much pain that requires 30 mg. Oxycodone could stand a 16 hr. drive just to get medication.

you are lucky to even be getting 4 oxy 30 a day. I cannot even get the 30 mg myself. My doctor is sticking me with 15mg & prescribing Ultram for breakthrough pain which is a notch stronger than Tylenol. I even asked him for 3 of the 30 mg a day so I could break the 3rd pill in half & have 2 of the 15 mg a day but he would not go for that either. I sure do not want anymore of that extended release crap that does not hold out as long as it says it will like Morphine or Oxycontin. I have chronic pain in my back & neck. He diagnosed it as Spondylitis & cervical disc disease. It is very painful but he doesn't see it as painful enough for 30 mg. These doctors are scared to death to prescribe 30 mg. There is so much of it on the streets so we all have to suffer. It is not right, I know. I wish you luck but be glad you even have any 30 mg. I can't get any of that s*** right now. Anyone in NC or SC , pls let me know if you know of a doctor that is compassionate and willing to write 30 mg for pain & not just cancer pain either. I am in NC but willing to travel if they are willing to treat me. Thx.

Ok im on my fourth pain doctor and he was reluctant to take me since he claimed i was "maxed out" yes i know there isnt any such thing and he admitted he was afraid to write scripts. Last month for the first time in five years, i didnt fly through them and had 4 left over upon my visit. It wasnt good enough, i was still 4 short being it was the 28th day. What the!!?? You mean even taking one pill extra at all get you booted? Ok anyhow, i have 0 of the oxy to show but i have 16 of the oxycontin to show, im on 2 20mg oxy contin and 4 30mg oxy. For four years i have been taking 300mg a day so i think having ANY LEFTOVER should be considered progress. Im pretty sure as of next week ill need to fond a new doc, so how bout some nashville names to help me out, ur number was xxx
