There is no sure fire way to cleanse your system and remove all traces of it. If I ate quarter of a suboxen on Thursday and a little piece on Friday how long would it take to get in my urine? Also how long to get out? ## Buprenorphine (Suboxone) can be detected in your urine for up to 1-3 days after your last dose. 37 hours is listed as the average half life for Buprenorphine. So I'd imagine that Buprenorphine and its metabolites are excreted through urine during this time frame and over the course of several days there-after until it's fully out of your system. Everyone's different though, so please keep in mind that these are only intended to be estimated time frames. First off ive been using roxies for about 5 years on and off. When its bad its like a $150+ a day habit, ill get "clean"(literally just using enough to keep withdrawls at bay, not enough to get high, like 2 blues a day) for about a month then i go back to using heavy. Recently i went through some s***, decided to seriously put it all down for good, tapered down to one pill a day, then locked myself in my house for a week and went totally cold turkey. Started suboxone recently and have blue cross/blue shield. Got letter from them saying I need to start councelling to stay on there program. They pick up most of cost of subs. I pay for sub dr. visits, he takes some insurance but not bcbs. Does anyone know about mandatory counceling because of insurance companys, how often you HAVE to go? Question: I'm in a program and receive Subutex (buprenorphine) from the Dr., 8 mg. I take one and a half pills 20 days out of the month, but for reasons I do not wish to disclose, the last ten days of the month I only had about 1 and a half pills to last me, so I'd say for the past ten days I've been taking about 1 mg a day. My question is, will that be enough to show up on my drug screen? Will it show that I have buprenorphine in my urine? I had two pills left on Friday, and my drug test is this Monday, ten days later. I was recently released from my Dr. I had a urine test on Dec. 17th and apparently they said I failed for xanax I don't take xanax. I am on methadone, percocet, valiums, neurontin, exium, premarin, combivent respimat, advair, oxygen 24-7 and sometimes I take extra strength acetaminophen. They claimed they sent it off to a lab and that came back positive but not till January 6th. Isn't the urine supposed to be tested within 24 hours of me giving it to them.
