How are you? The main problematic medication is the Topamax, it can decrease the effectiveness of Methadone. Otherwise, they can all increase sedation, so may experience more dizziness an...
Hi. I've just been prescribed Nitrofur-Macr 100mg for a persistant bladder/Urinary tract infection which has been making me sick to my stomach. I'm worried about what the side effects are, especially when mixing it with methadone. Just want to know if anyone else has experienced this. Thanks. ## Based on my research there are no drug interactions found between Nitrofur-Macro and Methadone. This does not necessarily mean no interactions exist, but my sources state that every effort has been made to ensure that the information provided is accurate. With that said, because I am not a doctor, the most I can tell you is that from what I've read, these two medications are regarded as being safe to take together and shouldn't present any problems outside of the normal side effe...
Surely I'm not the only person reading in shock and disbelief. How is it that so many people are unaware of the basic facts and information regarding bup. I am reading in horror that woman are trying to detox during pregnancy. That is the worst option - it is risking both lives. I also read a question regarding the effectiveness of mixing bup with methadone. Anyone using these meds should know it causes withdrawals, that's the point of bup. I feel lucky to have drug treatment services that are free but able to stand along what is provided to private patients. It's horrible to think of pregnant woman on bup having to come on here to ask for info and not telling their dr in fear of judgement or welfare. What is up with a woman thinking its an option to detox at five mnths preg...
How do u take a subutex? Is it the same as taking as taking a suboxone? ## This is an 8mg sublingual tablet and yes, they are used in very similar ways to treat the same things, except Subutex eliminates the Naloxone that can throw someone into withdrawals from taking it too soon. Learn more Subutex details here. Since it is also an opiate narcotic, it does have the potential to be habit forming and it may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness and constipation. Are there any other questions or comments? Does anyone else have any advice to add? ## Hi katiy, I haven't found any prescribing information, but a recent review from another Subutex user was stating that "the pamphlet says to just let the tablet dissolve under your tongue, and to not swallow the table...
I just got a script for subtext today, I’m from WV but was wondering if there was anywhere in Waynesburg that would fill my script for me? Also I am prego. Which I did go to a place in Washington where my appointment was but they wanted $392 for 56 of them I thought that was a little bit ridiculous. ## They should be willing to fill it, as long as it was written in PA, though in some cases, your being from out of state might be a problem, since it is a controlled substance. Subutex does contain Buprenorphine, which is an opiate most commonly used to treat drug addiction. Unfortunately, the $392 price is about average in most of the U.S. Have you checked with any pharmacies near you? ## Hi my name is Carlie and I go to a Subutex clinic in Bridgeville pa which is WBK I am in no way ...

I'm currently out of my medication and need one soon. Please help. ## Huntington treatment center will collaborate with an obgyn or refer you to one. ## Huntington Treatment Center will prescribe subutex if you're pregnant. ## I’m in need of a doctor who will prescribe me subutex in West...
I would like to see some images of the subutex 'wax square' tablets (clear purple in color). I want to see the markings... if some have just the one line down the middle versus the line down AND across. ( + ) ## Unfortunately, after trying several searches I haven't been able to locate a match in any of the U.S. prescription drug databases, nor any related possibilities on google. If you are certain that this is Subutex, then it's very likely that these pills could either be manufactured outside of the U.S. or that it is a fake (not in the sense that they don't contain the said ingredients or work as intended, but the pills could be manufactured from some unknown company). Until I find a square purple pill online that is regarded as being Subutex, I have yet to think...
I've been on some type of pain meds. since I was 17 years old when I broke my lower back. I have been prescribed everything from Hydrocodone, Norco, Oxycodone, Lorcet, Roxicodone, Morphine, Duragesic patches, Demerol, Darvocet, Percocet, Marijuana & I have always Xanax or Valium for my life altering, extremely bad anxiety, deep depression & debilitating insomnia. I have also had to have three surgeries & an additional surgery do to complications with the last surgery. I also need another surgery possibly two, due to problems that occurred. I'm looking for a free way to see a Dr. & to get subutex prescriptions free or as cheap as possible. I would prefer to do an out patient treatment program but, if I had to do an inpatient treatment program do to no other choice...
I kiss my wife many times daily. Suddenly my dr said i had suboxone in my urine. How? By kissing? ## I showed positive for suboxone from kissing my wife. How is this possible? ## Hello, Roger! How are you? I'm very sorry about the problem that you're having. And I think that kissing someone that's taking it regular may cause someone to show positive for various medications. I was actually just reading about it a few days ago. The FDA lists this medication as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. It is most commonly used to treat drug addiction. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Roger, I think it might be possible, but I also think unlikely...
Not being able to afford a Dr.-a friend of mine sometimes gives me acouple of her subutex.(like suboxone). They come in a pack where you have to punch out each square..like gum. They are square, and see-through purple. The only markings are a line going down, and a line going across.Like this +, so you have 4 little squares. But today when she gave me some, they looked the same, except there was only ONE line down the middle.I don't know why.Is anyone familiar with this drug-and seen them with just the one line down the middle? I cant find an image of subutex wax squares anywhere on-line so far. Thank you. ## Are you sure they are Subutex? It isn't even listed as being available in this type of formulation in the U.S. It is actually only available as an injection, tablets and film shee...
I've been on MMT for 25 years with no problems until 2 months ago. I started taking Temple Kratom (Mitragyna Speciosa) 4 months ago as needed for pain at night. My counselor told me last month that I tested positive for fentanyl but I didn't believe him. Got a new counselor this month and she told me that I had again tested positive for fentanyl! Kratom is the only thing that’s changed. Has anyone out there had any similar issues? ## It’s possible that there is a sprinkling of opioid in the kratom you are buying. Supplements like that aren’t going through any kind of approval process before they are sold. ## Thanks for the reply. I’ve since learned that benadryl (diphenhydramine) can cause false positives for fentanyl. And as a matter of fact, a lot of th...
Hello All, I recently just got changed from suboxone to subutex due to a pretty bad allergic reaction to the naloxone in the suboxone. Basically my question for everyone is which generic do you guys prefer? My pharmacist can order any kind for me so at the moment I just got the Roxanne ones 8mg - they are white round tablets. This is my first day using and am already noticing my migraines are starting to subside, not fully, but starting to. So yeah if anyone has any suggestions please let me know all the ups and downs that you guys have been experiencing, thanks! Good luck to one and all! D ## I may not have personal experience with either of these generics, but I did want to go ahead and link you to a couple other threads here with more information on other Subutex reviews: Discuss/can...
Can someone please guide me in the right direction for a private methadone doctor in NJ? I was going to a clinic and owe them way too much money from nonpayment. My max dose was 40 mgs and I've been dropped to 10 mgs in 4 days. I need a doctor asap. Thanks! ## Dear glor, if you r on methadone due 2 addiction, it's against the law 4 doctors 2 give out methadone. If it's 4 pain management, some Doctors will give it out. GOOD LUCK! ## By law you have to go to a Methadone Clinic if you're taking Methadone for substance abuse. If someone is taking it for pain management, they will need their medical records from the previous dr. There will also have to be diagnostic test results/diagnosis in the medical records. ## Need doctor in north jersey that proscribes methadone ## Sure...
How can I control the itching from methadone? ## Itching isn't considered a normal side effect of Methadone, the FDA lists it as typically causing side effects, that may include nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. It also carries the risk of being habit forming. Ref: Methadone Information However, itching might occur as a withdrawal symptom, or as an allergic reaction to Methadone. Do you also have a visible rash? Any hives, or swelling? Have you informed your doctor?
I take methadone 10 mg 54/142 but the pharmacy gave me a different kind that has U42 on it. What is the difference in them or is there any difference? ## There shouldn't be much of a therapeutic difference, as this tablet also containing 10mgs of Methadone (NDC 13107-089). The FDA classifies this medication as an opiate, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is this round white pill with u 42 a 10mg methadone??? ## Yes, it is indeed a 10mg methadone.

I have been taking one 8mg suboxone a day for a month. How long do I need to wait to take a lortab? ## Hello! How are you? It usually takes about 72 hours for other opiates to become effective for you, again, The FDA warns that these medications carry the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I took a small piece of subutex 10 hours ago. Can I take my hydrocodone? ## Rose, It's always best to consult the PHYSCIAN that prescribed your subutex. The mixing of powerful narcotic opiates can cause many unexpected side effects when Polly use of these substances are initiated. ## I'm prescribed 8mg of buprenorphine a day how long do I have to wait in order to ta...
White Round pill in blister pack. No markings on Pill nor scores on either side. Blister packs are 10 per pack and there is an MD on back of pack ## I would need imprint or a marking so I can locate the right pill. Is there any other marking on the package? Any more information you give me will help me better to assist you. ## there were not markings on the pills themselves. only on the back of the blister pack there were the letters MD ## Someone gave me the exact same thing. White pill, no writing except on back of the blister pack it says M.D. I was told they are methadone. I haven't tried them so I don't know for sure. Even if they are methadone, I wasn't told how many mgs, so becareful. ## They sound like the Zezpose 10 from India, they only cost 6 quid at the most - th...
Can someone please tell me what the difference between suboxone and subutex is? And , why one doctor would prescribe one over the other? ## Hello, Cats68! How are you? Subutex contains the active ingredient Buprenorphine, but Suboxone couples it with Naloxone to prevent the abuse of other narcotics, while someone is being treated with it. Thus, that also explains why some doctors prefer one over the other. This is a narcotic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Dear Verwon, I now understand the difference b tween them. But why would one doctor use one over the other? Can people still feel the effects of opiates on subtext, b cause it doesn...
Please help me find a subutex Dr. That accepts tenncare medicare for office payment. ## im lookinmg for a subutex dr in nashville who doesnt have to have insurance ## In Nashville, look up Dr. Arnett. He has many Suboxone/subtex clinics in the area. Call one of the hospitals, like Vandy or St. Thomas; they can usually point you in the right direction. Also, there's a buprenorphine patch available. (Same drug that's in Subutex). If you had problems with Suboxone, it could be the narcan mixed in with it to keep it from being abused. ## Dr. Cruz and Turning Point Recovery prescribes Subutex. My gf is on it. both places in Memphis and very close to Memphis. ## I found out I'm pregnant recently and I now have insurance. I'm looking for a sub clinic that will accept my insuran...
