My question is I'm on 140 mg methadone liquid daily and have been and that dose for about 2 mos and on methadone all together for 16 months my psychiatrist recently put me on Topamax 25 mg in the morning for bipolar n weight loss Lexapro 5 milligrams in the morning for depression and Klonopin 1 mg at bedtime for anxiety in which he said I could split half in the morning and half at night what my concern is are these medicines going to interfere with the effects of the methadone and the purpose of the methadone anybody that has any insight or answers on this matter thank you very much ## Hello, Aim! Hi. I've just been prescribed Nitrofur-Macr 100mg for a persistant bladder/Urinary tract infection which has been making me sick to my stomach. I'm worried about what the side effects are, especially when mixing it with methadone. Just want to know if anyone else has experienced this. Surely I'm not the only person reading in shock and disbelief. How is it that so many people are unaware of the basic facts and information regarding bup. I am reading in horror that woman are trying to detox during pregnancy. That is the worst option - it is risking both lives. I also read a question regarding the effectiveness of mixing bup with methadone. Anyone using these meds should know it causes withdrawals, that's the point of bup. I feel lucky to have drug treatment services that are free but able to stand along what is provided to private patients. It's horrible to think of pregnant woman on bup having to come on here to ask for info and not telling their dr in fear of judgement or welfare. How do u take a subutex? Is it the same as taking as taking a suboxone? ## This is an 8mg sublingual tablet and yes, they are used in very similar ways to treat the same things, except Subutex eliminates the Naloxone that can throw someone into withdrawals from taking it too soon. I would like to see some images of the subutex 'wax square' tablets (clear purple in color). I want to see the markings... if some have just the one line down the middle versus the line down AND across. I've been on some type of pain meds. since I was 17 years old when I broke my lower back. I have been prescribed everything from Hydrocodone, Norco, Oxycodone, Lorcet, Roxicodone, Morphine, Duragesic patches, Demerol, Darvocet, Percocet, Marijuana & I have always Xanax or Valium for my life altering, extremely bad anxiety, deep depression & debilitating insomnia. I have also had to have three surgeries & an additional surgery do to complications with the last surgery. I also need another surgery possibly two, due to problems that occurred. Not being able to afford a Dr.-a friend of mine sometimes gives me acouple of her subutex.(like suboxone).They come in a pack where you have to punch out each square..like gum.They are square,and see-through purple.The only markings are a line going down,and a line going across.Like this +, so you have 4 little squares.But today when she gave me some, they looked the same,except there was only ONE line down the middle.I don't know why.Is anyone familiar with this drug-and seen them with just the one line down the middle? I've been on MMT for 25 years with no problems until 2 months ago. I started taking Temple Kratom (Mitragyna Speciosa) 4 months ago as needed for pain at night. My counselor told me last month that I tested positive for fentanyl but I didn't believe him. Got a new counselor this month and she told me that I had again tested positive for fentanyl! Hello All, I recently just got changed from suboxone to subutex due to a pretty bad allergic reaction to the naloxone in the suboxone. Basically my question for everyone is which generic do you guys prefer? My pharmacist can order any kind for me so at the moment I just got the Roxanne ones 8mg - they are white round tablets. This is my first day using and am already noticing my migraines are starting to subside, not fully, but starting to. How can I control the itching from methadone? ## Itching isn't considered a normal side effect of Methadone, the FDA lists it as typically causing side effects, that may include nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth.
